A small taste of paradise
Wow, what a wonderful place for a relaxing weeks holiday. Yanna and Panos couldn't do enough for us, so welcoming and helpful. We had room 12 with a very large and private terrace with jacuzzi. We used it everyday, loved it. So happy we paid the extra for it. The hotel is spotless, breakfast was more than enough and Yanna offered to cook eggs if required. The hotel is minutes away from the bus stop to Fira in one direction and the black sandy beach in the other with some wonderful restaurants to choose from. We wanted to go on a boat trip and Panos booked it for us. It was an amazing day. Our holiday couldn't have been better, such a very special hotel run by 2 lovely people in an area that was fairly quiet but with access to places with plenty to do.
Special holiday
We went to Santorini for our 20th wedding anniversary, we wanted a special holiday and we were not disappointed. The Meltemi suites were spotlessly clean and so picturesque, we would definitely return. The staff were all lovely from the cleaners to reception staff . We'd like to make a special thank you though to Yanna, who could not do enough to make our stay special and always with smile on her face. Definitely looking forward to going back there next year.
A pretty oasis of calm and kindness
It has to be said not only is this a lovely pretty and relaxed hotel but the staff are really excellent. Panna has been absolutely superb the whole time and makes sure everyone is taken care of. Yanos has also been lovely. Customer service is really really well done here. The pool is lovely, the breakfast satisfying and the rooms comfortable and always clean. If you want a personal touch, breakfast by the pool, access to the beach in 2 minutes, calm away from the business of Fira and Oia but access to all the island trips you could not pick a more perfect place.
Cute and charming
We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The apartment itself is full of charm, with a traditional feel that really adds to the experience and makes it feel much more special than a standard hotel room. It was comfortable, clean, and a lovely place to relax after exploring the island.
What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was Yanna. She seems to do everything! Whether we arrived back late at night or came down for breakfast bright and early, she was always there with a warm smile and endless energy. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made every guest feel genuinely welcome.
The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and Yanna’s kindness, hard work, and attention to detail made every morning a pleasure. Seeing the same friendly face working late into the night and then serving breakfast the next morning was incredible. She is a real credit to the hotel and clearly cares about making every guest’s stay special.
A charming apartment, a relaxing atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality from Yanna made this a holiday we’ll remember fondly. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
Top class visit
This is a beautiful hotel with apartments. Some have jacuzzi and sunbeds on their own terrace others are more standard. All rooms have their own tables and chairs. There was no reserving sunbeds, you didn't need to, plenty to cover everybody and sunbeds have cushion tops on them. Umbrellas at sunbeds. The pool is lovely. Breakfast was wonderful, cereals, breads, a toaster, pastry, cake, Greek stuffed vines, feta samosas, cheese, tomatoes, fruit and you can get eggs/omelette, scrambled, fried, boiled etc. The staff work bery hard and are so friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Yana & Panos and the lady who cleaned our room, made the bed and fresh towels daily. Ideally situated, a two minute walk to beach front, on a quiet road, free car park nearby if you hire a car. Yana sorted our car hire for us and it was delivered and returned at the hotel. Bus stop to Fira is 100 yards at the end of the road. €2.70 one way. Last bus back from Fira 10pm. Dorians pub by the bus stop is the most reasonably priced alcohol that we came across. Meltemi cocktail bar across the road from it is a great spot as is Black Rock bar. Highly recommend this accommodation and I would return here, in fact I don't want to leave.
