This is a really lovely hotel, small and bijou, everything in close proximity. My partner and I spent a week, end of June/July.
Rooms - lovely and spacious, clean, tidy and modern. The patio was beautiful, overlooked the swimming pool, had two padded sun loungers and a lovely whirlpool. You could have the shutters open or closed - this was a great feature.
General Atmosphere - relaxed vibe.
Food and drinks - there was plenty to choose from at breakfast and in the evening. The culinarium experience was v pleasant. The staff in both restaurants worked hard and provided exceptional service.
The drinks were a little expensive, but I suppose in keeping with a high end hotel. There are local supermarkets and plenty of tavernas to mix it up a bit.
Entertainment - this was really good. The 80s/90s theme night was great and the Greek Night also good.
Location - 5 minute stroll to the beach, tavernas, local supermarket, pick up point for TUI Excursions. There is a car rental just up the road to.
We stayed in Santorini for a week, we did two TUI trips, Sunset Cruise and Highlights of Santorini which were both really good.
The reps were v helpful and overall it was a good holiday. The only downside, is Animal Welfare across the whole island. I have never seen as many thin, malnourished cats and dogs, and the poor Donkeys, for this reason alone, I will not be returning to Santorini. It is a great shame for these poor, helpless animals and not pleasant to see from a tourist point of view. More needs to be done to improve animal welfare across Santorini.
This Hotel just keeps getting better and better. All the Staff go out of their way to help and assist you. Marielena the General Manager makes you feel so welcome and recognised us straight away. One of the highlight each year is a meal in the Culinarian restaurant. It never disappoints. the food is outstanding and Marcos and his team explain every course you are eating and everything was cooked to perfection. We loved participating in the fitness class and Ellie the instructor was such a Joy. We even hiked up the mountain with her!
Tracy the Blu Guide is so Knowledgeable and always manage to find us something new to do even though its our 4th time. Every year we book the sunset Catamaran which Tracy books and I can't recommend it enough. I could do it every day and not get tired of going.
The cocktails are delicious from Christos at the bar. Make sure you download the app to see everything they have going on. However if your not keen on using the app there is always one of the staff team in the reception area who are more than happy to help.
See you all next year as we will definitely be back!!
Stayed for a week at the TUI Blue Meltemi. What a fantastic hotel. From check in to check out, the whole experience was smooth and easy. The staff were warm and friendly, and the facilities were amazing. A special shout out to Maria who led the fitness options, I did the morning HIIT training with Maria and she was brilliant, full of energy and encouragement.
The buffet restaurant was superb, with a wide variety of options every night. I also highly recommend taking up free al la carte meal (1 per stay), a five course meal with menu options that include Traditional Greek, Meat, Fish and Vegetarian. Even my wife, who my her own admission is not particularly keen on trying new foods really enjoyed it.
We had a room with a private pool which was a revelation, and honestly has left us feeling rather smug. What an experience to enjoy the pool after dark, under the stars. The housekeeping standards were impeccable, and generally the level of cleanliness around the hotel was fantastic.
Located in Perissa, the hotel is close to local shops and amenities, and if you fancy a change from the buffet restaurant one night there are plenty of options close by.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely be going back again.
I’ve just arrived home from this incredible hotel yesterday, and I’ve already booked to come back in six weeks! I travelled solo, and it was one of the most wonderful holidays I’ve ever had. I very rarely revisit places, but I’ve happily made an exception for this one. 😍
The hotel is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally well maintained, thanks to the incredible staff who work so hard every single day. It really shows. Every member of the team was attentive, kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making guests feel comfortable. As a solo traveller, I was quite nervous about staying at what seemed to be a very couples-oriented hotel, but I couldn’t have felt more welcome.
The rooms are beautiful. During my stays I’ve experienced both a swim-up room and a private pool room, and I was blown away by both. They are spacious, immaculate, and beautifully designed. The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention – they did a fantastic job every day and were always so friendly.
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast, which I feel could offer a little more variety. As someone who only drinks water, I also found it a little strange that complimentary water is available at breakfast but has to be purchased with dinner. It’s only a tiny point, but it would be a nice touch if water were included throughout.
I absolutely loved the location. Perissa is beautiful, with a much more relaxed atmosphere than the busier parts of the island, while still offering plenty to see and do both locally and across the island.
I genuinely cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The fact that I’ve already booked to return just six weeks after leaving says everything. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so special – I can’t wait to come back! 🩵
Absolutely gorgeous hotel with a fabulous set of pools and highly padded sun lounges the epitomy of luxury. Our rooms were fabulous also and they come with a walk in shower , fridge and outside jacuzzi . Want to pay special thanks to the staff who looked after us during our stay and they included a lovely lady on reception called Natalie who was so friendly and helpful and did absolutely everything to make our boat trip with my mum as easy as possible . (Thoroughly recommend this boat company that the hotel promote they were so helpful and as we didn’t want to charter the boat ourselves they provided a skipper at a small additional cost who was great at navigating us to Amoudi Bay and provided 121 help in getting my mum on and off the boat also ).
Other staff members who must have a mention include the TUI reps Tracey , Zoe and Erin , they were so friendly helpful and smiley throughout and made our stay really special .
Last but not least comes an absolute special mention for Demetrius in the restaurant . My daughter is coeliac and often finds it difficult finding meals which aren’t going to make her unwell . Demetrius was excellent, probably the most attentive and knowledgeable member of staff we have ever experienced in relation to this issue . He provided expert knowledge and had so much attention to detail that we felt very safe and well looked after in his care .
All in all a wonderful hotel with great staff and we would not hesitate to return
