Aqua Blue Hotel is set right on Perissa Beach featuring a private beach space with sun beds and umbrellas. It offers 3 outdoor pools, including a kids' pool, and rooms with free WiFi. The rooms at Aqua Blue are bright and modernly furnished with air conditioning, a satellite, flat-screen TV, fridge, private bathroom, balcony or veranda, double-glazed windows and safety boxes. The property has a buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner, as well as a lounge bar serving drinks by the pool and the beach. There is 24-hour front-desk service, while at the reception you will also find computers with paid Internet access. Trips and car rentals can be arranged, and there is also laundry, ironing and beach/pool towels service. Fira, the bustling capital of Santorini, is 15 km away, while Santorini Airport and Port are a 20-minute drive.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Had an excellent 9 nights holiday to this lovely beachfront hotel in Perissa, Santorini , in May 2026, booked as a last minute package with British Airways ( excellent ) following a late holiday change notified to us by TUI ( not excellent - we cancelled ). 40 minute private airport transfer on winding roads ( could be a lot longer if shared ); spacious rooms ( a/c a bit noisy ); excellent but pricey restaurant if you are staying B&B ( we all thought the food was delicious - special thanks to the chef and team ); large pool but very cool in May; and lovely people at the hotel who couldn’t do enough for us. Note that the daily room tourist tax is currently 15 euros a day, payable in the hotel. A special thank you to Marilena on the front desk who booked us a wine tour ( expensive, but great day out, with a superb sunset to finish ); island coach tour ( a long day, but enjoyable and a good way to see the island ); and a glass bottom boat trip which includes a walk up the volcano if you want to do this ( about 30 minutes up, and you need decent footwear ) plus a swim in the hot springs ( also optional! ). I would strongly recommend a boat tour of the bay for a different view of the whole island. Santorini is a superb and very interesting historical island, but it is fairly small and I imagine it can get very busy at peak times when there are lots of cruise ships. I would go again to the Aqua Blue hotel without hesitation. Thank you everyone at Aqua Blue! P.S. I wrote a BA review with Feefo, but they selectively edited it to take out any minor negative comments I made so I won’t bother writing any more reviews with them.
What an amazing find this is! All the qualities of a boutique hotel at an affordable price in an excellent location.
We chose half board and the buffet style breakfast and dinner offered plenty of fresh options which changed daily. The staff remembered our room number after the first time and special thanks to Rezi who brought soya milk for my coffee after only asking once. The staff are attentive to every need and cannot do enough for you.
The rooms are stylish, cleaned daily with fresh towels although limited wardrobe space but that didn’t bother us.
The whole of the complex is immaculate and cleaned continoulsy.
Perissa itself is a coastal resort with an array of bars and restaurants along the seafront which are all affordable but without the ‘hard sell’ often associated with these places. It is clean and welcoming.
Overall, we can’t wait to come back to Aqua Blue. We have travelled to many places and have been waiting to find somewhere like this that ticked every box 👍 Well done KD hotels!
We spent a fantastic 2 weeks here July/August and were delighted with the hotel. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, with the minor niggle being that the shower is so good it tends to wet the whole of the bathroom floor! The communal and pool areas are kept clean and well maintained, but the staff are the highlight of the hotel. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, polite and couldn’t do enough for you, whether it was on reception, the bar or restaurant and the cleaning staff. They are an absolute credit to the hotel!
Adjacent to the Perissa beach an close to grocery stores, restaurants and bars, the hotel lies at a very favorable location. The clear architecture and the clever use of plants and trees throughout the inner pool area and around the buildings creates a calm atmosphere that invites one to stay. The room was cleaned every day and the private bathroom spacious and nice. At night one can sometimes hear cars and motorbikes outside, if the windows are kept open, but in general it is quiet (except you happen to have a neighbor seemingly redecorating their room in the middle of the night). The staff was always friendly and competent and the service was even available at the hotel beach. We had a great time as a family and can wholeheartedly recommend the Aqua Blue Hotel.
One of the most amazing relaxing holidays . The staff are all wonderful caring helpful The place is gorgeous, not overcrowded and has a perfect balance of beach and pool . Rooms are lovely and spotless . I will be back and thanks to all the gorgeous people who made it very special
