Canaves Epitome

The hotel is truly a 5 stars experience. The property is beautiful. The attention to details is exceptional. The hotel is romantic, quiet, and ultra-luxury. At check in we were greeted with local sparkling wine and lots of information about dining and activities on the island. Luggage was handled swiftly, and staff gave a thorough walkthrough of the room amenities. We stayed in a Hideaway Suite with a pool. The outdoor heated pool faced the Aegean Sea, perfect for watching the sunset away from the public crowds. Omnia Restaurant served incredible Mediterranean-Greek fusion dishes with live music. Breakfast was a la carte with a massive multi-course spread of fresh pastries, local yogurt, and eggs made to order. Breakfast could be served in room for a nominal service charge. Such a treat!!!

It has taken me a while to write this as was so upset how they treated me when my husband ended up in intensive care and we had no option but to cancel our holiday. We are high end luxury travelers. The airline with our business class seats. The rest of our Europe trip with high end hotels everyone showed compassion but Canaves Epitome did not. I had a letter from the director of the intensive care unit my husband was in. We are lucky he survived and we can now look to rebook our holiday. Canaves Epitome was the only property who showed no heart and made me go through the travel insurance route. Lucky you just got to keep all our money even though the trip was two months out, our agent and myself tried multiple times pleading for your help. Shame on you. But clearly you just cared about your bank account and not the client .
