- Iris Boutique Hotel

Iris Boutique Hotel was fully renovated during 2014 – 15. The hotel consists of 2 buildings and is built in a modern Cycladic architecture with many influences from nature. The property is located 150 meters from the beach promenade, where you can find Restaurant, shops and bars or just take a walk next to the beach to relax. To get to the other parts of Santorini you can go to the bus station that is located 50 meters from the hotels or park your car or bike in the public parking 100 meters from the property. All rooms are decorated in a modern Cycladic architecture style and has all the comforts that you need.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Absolutely beautiful 🤩 a lovely experience staff are friendly and helpful room cleaned every morning. Clean towels and bedding put neatly away, a charming and extremely peaceful little hotel Restaurants and bars within very easy reach along with a bus stop outside for easy access to other parts of the island John Forster
Absolute gem of a hotel. Lovely staff. Immaculately clean. Pool area is private and never crowded. The breakfasts are varied for your taste and always freshly prepared. The higher rooms have a better view. Rooms are cleaned daily if you require it also. I’ll definitely return.
First the positives Nice hotel not too far off the beaten track and in a quiet location with a 10 minute stroll to the beach. Friendly staff on hand at all times. Rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels and bedding. The pool area which is just across the road is nice, plenty of sunbeds but it could do with a few more parasols. There is a pool bar but it didn't look as it had been opened this year. Fair enough, we just took our own drink. Breakfast was OK with a good choice of Continental/English.Boiled eggs, scrambled egg, bacon and sausage( hot dog style) were plentyful but always cold. The use of the safe and air-conditioning is included in the price of the holiday.
Negatives The room only had one small wardrobe and thats it which just wasn't enough for 2 people. It's a good job we didn't go for 2 weeks. There's no drawers either. The was plenty of room to put in a bigger cupboard or even put 2 cupboards in. There is a table top fridge which was adequate for our needs but there's no kettle. Take a travel kettle with you. We were in room 304 which was direct the dining area. From 7.30am onwards all you can hear is chairs being clattered about/ scraping on the floor as diners sat at their tables. No chance of a sleep in. The toaster in the dining room was next to useless.
Overall we enjoyed our stay as the positives outweigh the negatives so yes I would recommend it.
Ps. There's only 1 bus stop in Kamari is 15 min walk away
I loved my stay at the Iris Boutique Hotel. My room was huge, the beds were super comfy! Breakfast was great, lots of variety. The staff were really friendly.
The location in Kamari was perfect, just a street away from the beach, close to the supermarkets and bars as well as the bus stop.
I would definitely stay here again but perhaps in a first floor room to enjoy the views from a balcony.
The only suggestion I would say is provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room, it would ge appreciated.
visited this hotel for 4 nights, location of the hotel was a 10 minute walk to amenities and the beach, set back off the front very quiet and peaceful. Our room was ok inside the wardrobe smelt of damp and the lighting in the bathroom was awful, didn't use the kitchenette wasted space in my opinion and even if you did want to use the kitchen there are NO utensils pots or pans nothing! cupboards and drawers are empty 🤷♀️ asked for extra pillows was told they didn't have any? 24 hours asked different member of staff and got some, fridge didn't work this was replaced 24 hours later too...over the road is a fab pool there are toilets, there was a snack bar but it never opened in the time we was there such a shame could of been great being able to get drinks! our room was on the ground floor which was nice..overall the hotel was ok but i wouldn't return due to the points mentioned...
