The charming five * hotel is located in the village of Imerovigli, at the highest point of the caldera, right on the edge of the cliff surrounded by natural landscapes. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the centre of Imerovigli, where guests will find, restaurants, a pharmacy, a few shops and a bus station. The centre of Fira, with its bars and varied nightlife, is 1.9 km from the hotel, while the airport is around 12 km away. the hotel is just 1km from the ancient fortress of Skaros.
The hotel is comprised of two wings, with 25 apartments in total. The Traditional Wing, located higher on the cliff of Caldera offering less stairs, includes seven studios/suites built into the rock, while the Petra Wing, located lower on the cliff and closer to the main facilities, offers 18 studios/suites built from the rocks of the volcanic mountains. Renovated in 2018, the air-conditioned establishment offers a 24-hour lobby, a 24-hour pool bar, an a la carte restaurant, wireless Internet, a parking lot, concierge department, room and laundry services.
All of our rooms offer a phenomenal view of the South side of the Caldera and the volcano. Please note that even though all of our rooms / suites do have an outdoor area offering lounge chairs just in front of your door, it does not ensure that you cannot be seen, as a construction of walls would block the view.
They all offer air conditioning, a smart / sattelite TV, mini bar, direct dial telephone, towels, hairdryer, Nespresso Machine, shampoos-conditioners, Wi-Fi and a laptop sized safe.
There is an outdoor swimming pool, a pool bar and a sun deck with loungers laid out ready for use. From the pool area guests can experience some of the most awe-inspiring sunsets in the world. There is also a plunge pool and steam room.
A breakfast buffet is served each morning from 08:00 until 10:30.

Amazing Hotel on Caldera in Imerovigli
I stayed at the Honeymoon Petra Villas with my husband and sister and her husband. I can say enough about the staff and their hospitality. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, they were friendly, accommodating and such hard workers. The view is amazing! The pool area and bar give you stunning views of the Caldera where you can have drinks and eat lunch or dinner. Breakfast comes with the room which was also wonderful with fresh yogurts, pastries, eggs etc. You can walk from the hotel in to Fira which is the capital. We also booked massages right at the hotel which were fantastic and not overly expensive. One thing to note, there are a lot of stairs. Santorini as a whole has a lot of stairs because you are on a cliff. Might not be a good choice for elderly or handicapped people. The hotel is in Imerovigli which is not as crowded as Fira or Oia. I highly recommend!

Loved this place!
I stayed here with my wife for two nights. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. The rooms and facilities were incredible. We had our own private balcony overlooking the caldera. It looked like it was right out of a postcard. I’m so glad we stayed here and not in another town (Oia), as this hotel and town is much quieter and more serene. The views from the hotel pool is pure bliss. The breakfast overlooking the sea and Skaros mountain was probably my favorite. My wife and I can’t wait until we get back here.
Heaven on Earth
As former head of Brish Airways Customer Service Worldwide I am choosy where we stay and know exceptional care when I see it . Honeymoon Suites ticks all the boxes and then some . It’s excellence at its best . The view from our room was breathtaking , the staff are wonderful , the food is delicious and the location is perfect , lots to do but half an hours beautiful walk from the capital Would I go back … in a heartbeat

I can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel and exceptional service! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! They couldn’t do enough for us from accommodating requests to carrying suitcases and arranging transportation. Highly recommend and we will be back!!

Amazing stay
We had the most magical stay at Honeymoon Petra villas. We had a superior Petra suite with a gorgeous terrace with the most breathtaking view of the Caldera. The room was amazing - very spacious and all the amenities you could ask for. The pool area was stunning - a gorgeous infinity pool over looking the gorgeous Caldera. The restaurant also had the best view of the sunset where you can sit and enjoy a delicious cocktail. Very short walk to all the lovely restaurants in Imerovigli! The best thing about the hotel is the wonderful staff - they all went above & beyond to make our stay so special! Thanks again and we will definitely be back!
