We cannot fault this hotel, the staff are outstanding cannot do enough for you, from arrival Jesse, and Andreas welcoming us to Asad serving our beautiful breakfast each morning with a smile. It’s the best breakfast we have ever had and we have travelled a lot over the years. Ezmarela was our housemaid for our room always smiling and extremely helpful the best cleaner we have ever had going the extra mile always a pleasure to speak to. Andreas is a lovely lad always asking is there anything I can do to help you. The food from the hotel was delicious. Our rooms very spacious and immaculate, the little extras giving us water each day we appreciate that. The location is very peaceful which we wanted but if you do not have transportation you need taxies to the other towns €35 each way to both main towns. Nice but not a keeper.
The welcome was great. The room was nice with comfortable bed and very spacious and clean. Staff was very nice, although they could not source ibuprofen in the evening when we ran out. The location was not ideal. The surrounding area was not very pretty outside of the resort. The sea is not readily accessible. The individual pool was not heated so it felt cold. The spa area of the resort had a nice soaking area, but also was not heated, so not enjoyable for us. The breakfast was included and very nice food with a lovely view. We had dinner one evening and it was mediocre. The setting outside was nice though and service was excellent. The shuttle is great going to Oia. The town was very very very crowded. People say it is walkable to Oia, but no sidewalk and much traffic make it unsafe to walk. Overall, there were lots of nice things about Domes Santorini, but I would not recommend it and would never return there.
Amazing resort and staff
An amazing resort with incredible staff that can't do enough for you. Rooms all have pools and they are heated to 28 degrees, people say they aren't heated as they expect it to be like a hot tub it's not it's a pool. Very modern resort close enough to walk to Oia if you don't mind the hills if not get a taxi and walk back

Booked for 7 nights left after 1 night.
We booked to stay for 7 nights but left after 1. The hotel has beautiful views, the pool area is lovely and many of the staff do the best they can although front of house was brusque and seemed to want to get any interaction with us over as quickly as possible. We are a family of five, we booked a two bedrooms pool villa. The room was dated, we noticed wires at ceiling level wrapped in tape in the bathroom which did not look safe. The room felt dirty, was very dark and cramped for five people and their luggage. There were places to put clothes but not anywhere near sufficient for 5 people and nowhere to put luggage out of the way. There were ants in my daughter’s bed. One of the double beds (which are built into the room, so no chance of shifting it) was directly under the ac unit, which made sleeping very uncomfortable, the extra bed placed in the other bedroom had the same problem.
The issues we had with the room were such that there was no point in complaining to staff as moving a bed built into the room would not be possible, the size of the room could not be altered, along with it being impossible to move ac units. So basically our issues were to do with the fundamental size and design of the room and would not have been able to be fixed.
We were provided with 3 sunbeds for 5 people, and although we could have asked this to be changed all the other things wrong with the room meant we didn’t bother since by the time this became an issue we had already decided to leave. We went to another hotel, which was cheaper, better appointed and with much more spacious rooms.
When we went to say we were checking out, we told them the room did not work for us there was little concern that we had found the room so unacceptable that we were going to leave.
Please be very careful if you are considering this hotel. Just to reiterate it does not face the caldera (we knew this before booking so was not a reason we left), additionally the road outside is busy, and looks pretty dangerous to walk along you would definitely need a hire car to stay here.

Dome Resort provided a wonderful stay in Santorini!
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The resort itself had a relaxing atmosphere and was conveniently located for exploring Santorini's many attractions. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Michael, the check-in staff, and Johnny, the waiter. A big thank you to everyone at Dome Resort for making our stay so enjoyable!
