This boutique hotel was built with respect to the environment on the outskirts of Imerovigli. Its quiet location allows easy access to the centre of the resort and the splendid beach. The shops, restaurants and the bus station can all be reached within a 5-minute stroll. The capital of the Island, Fira, is only 2km away and boasts a busy nightlife, excellent restaurants and shopping malls. The hotel is an ideal base for relaxing and rejuvenating the body and mind, with breath-taking views of Oia and Thirassia islands. Guests can spend the warm evenings at the onsite cafe, enjoying a chilled cocktail and admiring the romantic sunset. All of the rooms and suites feature a modern decoration with designer furniture and lights, giving the feeling of simple elegance. The suites also enjoy an outdoor heated hot tub, while the rooms open to balconies with amazing views over the sea. Check in time: 3 pm and check out time: 11am as required by COVID prevention protocols. The indoors heated hydrotherapy pool and cold plunge pool in our spa are not operating until further notice from the authorities.

Wonderful stay with lovely staff.
On arrival we were met by friendly helpful staff and were made very welcome. Our luggage was taken down the hill to the hotel for us by the porter 👍 Cold guest towels were provided and a chilled glass of sparkling wine on check in ( great start ) When we got to our suite ( Avaton suite ) there was a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, chocolates and a basket of fresh fruit ( nice touch )
The warm indoor pool and jacuzzi was a great welcome addition after a long day walking. As the outdoor pool was a tad fresh for me at this time of year.
The location is great, the sunsets superb and the views are stunning.
A wonderful pre ordered breakfast was served to our suite every morning at a time we chose.
There’s lots of restaurants in the area to choose from and the hotel is within walking distance to Oia and Fira for a day of exploring. If you don’t fancy walking the bus stop is only a ten minute walk away.
My husband and I had a fabulous serene stay at this wonderful hotel. Thank you to all the wonderful exceptional staff, nothing is too much trouble and they all go out of their way to make your stay an excellent one.

Avaton Suite - please read before booking
We stayed in the Avaton Suite for our anniversary. Overall the hotel was great location lots of restaurants in the local area, hotel employees were very responsive and the room and the views from the balcony were beautiful. However, breakfast was atrocious, limited choice, have to order the night before and have to eat it in your room, the food is consistently cold upon arrival, meager portions (e.g. mini croissants and cocktail sausages instead of full sized items), multiple times was delivered at the wrong time, the sausage and bacon were very greasy and I suspect cooked in a dirty pan and one occasion I even found plastic in my food (see photo). Indoor spa bathroom facilities were often dirty and only cleaned once a day. No effort was made, when I had informed them it was our anniversary which was the reason for the stay, while I understand they are not obligated to do anything, it was disappointing and showed lack of attention to detail/hospitality. The hotel also run out of water/had the water shut off without warning, the morning we checked out so we were unable to use the bathroom or shower before our flight home which was very uncomfortable for a long journey. For those booking the Avaton suite, it is directly next door to the reception so zero privacy and can hear constant chatter from guests and staff. The room is beautiful but the overall experience was a let down and certainly poor value for money.
Amazing stay at the Avaton!
We stayed in Avaton resort for 5 amazing nights mid June. We enjoyed the stunning location, great service, relaxing pool and spa and couple massage very much. We highly recommend this boutique hotel located right on the Caldera walk for a relaxing break of your busy life!

Outstanding Location, Amazing Staff, and Incredible Views
This lovely boutique hotel is perfect for a relaxing vacation in Santorini. It's the last hotel in Imerovigli as you head towards Oia, and its location is unbeatable. There are no neighbouring hotels above, below, or even to the left, which is exceptionally rare anywhere along the Caldera.
The location is also incredibly convenient, with a few convenience stores (including a full supermarket), restaurants, and a bus stop all just a short walk away.
All the rooms have amazing sea views, but ours (the Honeymoon Room) probably had the best. It benefited from two private balconies with no overlooking neighbours, as well as a lovely jacuzzi. The bedroom was a good size (though not huge), tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything you could need, including a kettle with a selection of teas (not always the norm in Greece) and an espresso machine with complimentary coffee capsules.
Breakfast was served in our room each morning, and it was delicious. I'm a fussy eater, but here the quality of the ingredients spoke for itself. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, the eggs were cooked to order, the fruit salad was made with freshly cut fruit, the bread selection was excellent, and the Greek yogurt and muesli were equally delicious.
What really makes this hotel stand out, however, is the staff. Everyone we met was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful, from the porter (who literally carried our suitcase on his shoulder from the parking area where the taxi dropped us off to the hotel entrance), to the housekeeping staff, who were always smiling, and the fantastic reception team, who went out of their way to offer great advice and were always available to help.
All in all, this is a truly outstanding hotel that is very reasonably priced for Santorini. We highly recommend it.

Amazing stunning beautiful
Wow wow wow. This is the most special beautiful romantic hotel we have ever stayed in. ALL the staff go above and beyond to make your stay special and are so kind friendly and knowledgable The views are simply stunning , we were very lucky to be offered a free upgrade for our last night to the honeymoon suite where you can watch the sunrise AND the sunset from the balcony and hot tub!!! The free spa is very relaxing too My husband has difficulty walking but we managed to walk up to the shops and restaurants which are also amazing with stunning food I really can’t fault anything with this hotel both my husband and I cried when we left and we’ve never down that Thankyou for the most magical stay
