Disappointing stay
I have thought long and hard about posting this as I do not like to post negative reviews, however i wish that I had read an alternative viewpoint prior to making our booking. While I agree that the staff are warm and lovely people, striving to deliver, our experience at this hotel did not meet our expectations of a 5* boutique hotel. Our honeymoon suite did not in our view have that ‘luxurious’ feel and there were multiple deficiencies in service regarding the room such as the shower gel running out and having to ask for it to be replenished , our jacuzzi pool not being clean at the start of our stay nor cleaned during our 7 night stay and having to call down to reception to activate our air conditioning. I recognise that these are ‘first world’ and not major issues, however they are things that we did not expect at a 5* hotel and at the price point we were paying. Likewise, the breakfasts were not of the standard that we have enjoyed in other similar establishments, and indeed what we went on to enjoy in Paros. There were extended periods where dishes were allowed to stand empty while preparing refills, additional coffees had to be requested rather than being offered and on 2 mornings there were no coffees or hot items at all due to a power cut. The latter is obviously not the fault of the hotel, however guests we spoke to at neighbouring hotels did not have to go without hot water or electricity etc for the extended periods we experienced as they seemed to have in place more effective back up measures. I do not want my review to detract from the wonderful location and look of the hotel, nor from the wonderful people who work there. However, in our experience it falls well below the 5* establishment it professes to be and we had expected, and this unfortunately significantly affected what was meant to be a special trip.

Horrible experience
To go to the room u have to go to the -2 level, leave through the garage day and night.
The view from our room was to what looked like a war zone. (See pictures)
Unacceptable for a 5* hotel.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay at Aeifos Boutique Hotel
We had a wonderful stay at Aeifos Boutique Hotel in Santorini and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and authentic Santorini experience.
The location is fabulous! The hotel is in a quiet and charming area, yet very convenient. There is free parking near Monastery of St. Nicholas, and it’s only about a 4-minute walk to the hotel, which was extremely convenient for us.
Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax after exploring Santorini.
What truly made our stay special, however, was Entona at the lobby. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Her recommendations were excellent and made our experience on the island even better. Her warm smile and genuine hospitality gave us an extra sense of confidence and made us feel right at home. She is a wonderful representative of the hotel and deserves special recognition.
I highly recommend Aeifos Boutique Hotel if you want excellent service, a quiet location, cleanliness, and that warm personal touch that can make a vacation truly memorable.
We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Santorini! 🌅🇬🇷❤️

Unless you get a room with a sea view, go elsewhere - for a more pleasant and affordable time

- location is much more pleasant than Fira/ Oia in terms of crowds
Cons:
- we booked the courtyard room, however this is not overlooking a courtyard. It was a basement level room overlooking the driveway with taxis coming and going. To access the hotel, you have to walk through the underground car park.
- we didn’t feel we could open our shutters based on being located on the driveway, with drivers and guests coming and going
- room wasn’t in great shape. For example a portable dehumidifier to remove the bathroom moisture, loose fixtures and fittings in the bathroom including the shower caddy which fell off onto my foot while showering
- lacked the amenities of a 5* hotel, for example no umbrellas for guests
- we asked to sit on the terrace and have drinks at around 6pm, but we were told we can’t as this was for the restaurant only (despite there being an unused terrace out the back and many tables being empty) - feels a bit unfair to guests to say you can’t use the outdoor area from 6pm onwards unless you are paying to eat at the restaurant, especially if that’s how they are justifying the premium for the hotel
Ultimately, you can’t market the hotel as 5* based on the common area when the room is definitely not of this calibre
Guests, unless you want to splash on the most premium rooms, I’d save your money and stay somewhere cheaper - can probably get nicer for 1/3 of the cost . You get the caldera view in basically every bar and restaurant as well as the paths, there’s no point paying for a hotel with this if your room specifically doesn’t have this. Stay closer to Fira near the bus station and explore from there
Serene, Luxury Hotel with Fabulous Views
This hotel is an incredible find. The views are stupendous, as it's right on the caldera rim (with the path running from Fira to Oia right outside the property). Wonderful breakfast buffet, with a wide array of delicious pastries (sweet and savory) and eggs and yogurt. We had a mishap with our luggage and the hotel director, Marianska, spent an entire afternoon tracking it down for us, going out of her way to make things right. The entire staff is incredibly helpful, making the whole experience memorable. We hope to return here someday!
