It is 7 kms away from the airport and 7kms away from Athinios Port.The resort consists of six separate buildings designed in the local architectural traditions. I wouldn't rate it a 5 star hotel maybe 3 The pool is nice but no nice outlook, the bar is very expensive. The room is spacious with a nice Seaview but basic considering size. Location is good
Nice Room and Perfect Location, But Not a 5-Star Experience
We just got back yesterday from our stay Splendour Hotel & Suites and had a mixed experience overall.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the room. We had a private pool, which was absolutely amazing, and the views were beautiful. The room itself was very simple but spacious, and well-equipped. A special mention also goes to our cleaning lady, who was wonderful throughout our stay, always smiling, friendly and making sure our room was spotless every day.
The location is also fantastic. It’s an easy walk to restaurants, shops and everything you need, which made exploring Santorini really convenient.
However, there were a few things that took the shine off what should have been a five-star experience. The breakfast was disappointing and felt more like a three-star offering. The sparkling wine was the only thing that made it seem slightly more luxurious, but it certainly wasn’t enough to elevate the overall breakfast.
There were also a few small details that you would expect a five-star hotel to get right. A complimentary bottle of wasn’t provided daily, which was surprising and although the room had a coffee machine, the pods were never replenished, meaning we were only able to use it once during our stay.
Service was another letdown. The reception staff and a couple members of the breakfast team rarely smiled and didn’t come across as particularly welcoming. Asking for simple things at reception often felt like hard work, so we avoided it, which isn’t what you’d expect from a hotel of this standard.
While we loved our private pool, I think we would have been much more disappointed had we not booked this room. The plunge pool/jacuzzi rooms didn’t look particularly appealing, and the main pool seemed underused and didn’t have any parasols or a view from the majority of the sun loungers.
I’ve given this hotel 4 stars, but it was genuinely a toss-up between 3 and 4. The room, private pool and excellent location ultimately tipped it towards 4 stars, but the disappointing service, breakfast and lack of attention to detail mean it falls short of the five-star experience we were expecting. This hotel is certainly not 5 stars in my opinion.
5 star experience
This hotel is breathtaking! You have your very own sunset as you are at the top of the town. It is a 15 min walk in but defo worth it for the care attention. The rooms are very large and spacious and cleaned regularly . The staff are very lovely and sweet and they give great recommendations. The food is amazing , the grilled octopus was Devine as is the pizza . The concierge staff always made me feel welcome as did the restaurant and bar staff . Would definitely recommend and will be back again . Much love to all the staff here ❤️5 star experience

Couples stay
Perfect quiet location in short distance to local tourist areas. Room lovely and clean, cleaner very friendly! Breakfast good variety and staff very welcoming and helpful. Lovely base point to explore from, would highly recommend!
