What can we say,.....we were not disappointed with our return to this wonderful hotel.
All staff are friendly, welcoming and made us feel like one of the family.
We enjoyed lazing by the pool, chatting to staff and other holidaymakers. ...a chill holiday.
The taxi service in to the village & local tavernas is a gr8 asset to the hotel.
Great to see all of the kids who have grown up since we were last there 3years ago and so see videos & photos of the newborn puppies of the puppy who was running about when we were there in 2023.
We love the location, we love the staff and we loved our little paradise of room 5.
We will definitely return to Apanemo.

Apanemo - Santorini Gem
My wife and I stayed at Apanemo in late August. We visited on the recommendation of my daughter and fiancé who stayed last July. A call out to the staff at Apanemo - Artemis, Vaggelis - everyone. So welcoming and you all worked so hard to ensure we had a memorable week. A particular thank-you to Spiros who helped arrange a buggy weeks before we arrived, and gave solid advice as to when in our week we should take a sunset catamaran to avoid higher caldera winds. Again, Spiros helped arrange this booking in advance, as well as a wine tasting tour. We travelled around Santorini on a buggy - I can honestly say there was nowhere else I would have chosen over Apanemo. High in Akrotiri it enjoys a welcome breeze, and yes, the view over the caldera is every bit as good as the promo photos on the Apanemo web site. Sit and watch the cruise ships come and go, and the sailboats chasing the setting sun beyond the caldera. Simply stunning! Akrotiri is considerably quieter than Fira and Oia - but has wonderful restaurants - we loved "Akrothiri" and "Misteli" - the latter especially good for an evening meal. Thank you Spiros and team - the very best of Santorini.

Beautiful relaxing place to stay
We stayed here for two nights and three days during middle of August for our 20th wedding anniversary. Everything about here is wonderful. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and informed of the best highlights to give us the best holiday. Our room was garden facing with a terrace, spacious with a great shower and a fridge. The hotels three kittens are just adorable. All the staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful. The views of the caldera are stunning! It is clean, calm, relaxing and quiet away from the crazy of the more popular areas on the island. A delicious breakfast. They have a nice bar and also dinner available, sadly we didn’t have time to experience this. It is a small family feel hotel which was perfect for us! Akrotiri village was a 10-15 minute downhill walk with lovely views, we even managed the walk all the way down to the archeological site! Make sure to take water with you!! We booked before going with get your guide the afternoon island tour which showed us most of the sights. We had a very enjoyable relaxing day on a catamaran cruise with bbq and drinks who I booked with Santorini View. Both brilliant communication. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing time.
Gorgeous hotel and 5 star experience!
Apanemo hotel is hands down one of the best places we have visited. The location is perfect in Akrotiri, perched up high with views overlooking the caldera. The rooms were gorgeous, we had a lovely view and they were spotlessly clean. It’s a family run hotel and Spiros and the rest of the family and staff are so accommodating and welcoming and friendly. Everyday they would always help us book reservations for evening meals, excursions for day trips and couldn’t do enough for you to make your trip comfortable. The hotel has a driver service which was incredibly helpful. By the end of the holiday it really felt like you were part of the family and we were extremely grateful for everything they did to make our family holiday so special and memorable. The hotel offers lovely breakfast and serves a good range of tasty food which is so convenient on days you don’t want to leave the beautiful location. We will definitely visit Santorini again soon and will 100% rebook with Apanemo. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
