Pool

Rooms are incredibly out dated, our shower randomly bounces between boiling hot and freezing cold with no happy medium. The rooms are tired and have some areas that need fixing which I wouldn’t expect for a 5* star hotel. The walls are paper thin and we slept horrendously because you can hear others in their rooms but also people walking and talking up and down the hallway. A baby was crying 7 doors down and we could hear it from our bed. The sun loungers are reserved before 8am so be careful and the drinks/cocktials leave a lot to be desired. The food on the other hand was excellent in some places, the a la cartes were really good aside from the sushi and champagne (Spumante). I would look at staying at other Mitsis in the future because of the food quality but would not recommend faliraki as aesthetics wise it didn’t hit the mark

We had a great time at the mitsis faliraki and would definitely recommend to other families with young kids. 

The al la carte restaurants were all to a high standard, the only slightly annoying thing is having to prebook on the app (defo recommend and is very easy to do, can do a few months before arriving)

The drinks from the main bar you can get in a glass and are made to a high standard, the drinks around the pool varied but still plenty of choice only cocktail I didnt like was the pina colada as it was a premade mix and not creamy.

The grounds are very well kept, no dirt in the pool and lots of sunbeds available even into the late morning, no sun bed wars each morning which was nice. The furniture around the hotel is all very stylish, modern and comfortable.

The rooms are clean, the air con is very good and mini fridges are restocked daily, you can ask for more of certain items if needed. 

Outside the hotel isn't very pram friendly but there are quite a few restaurants and bars, probably less than a typical Spanish resort like those in the Costa del sol but still enough choice if you did want to eat out. There is a nice walk down to the port along the beach front but this is very difficult with a pram. 

The only things I could pick fault with the hotel would be;
No ramp up to the swim out pool rooms which meant carrying the pram up stairs a few times a day for our sons naps (not the end of the world we are both young and fit)
The buffet food isn't always pipping hot, again not a massive issue as food is tasty and plenty of choice but could be improved
Would be good if there was an option to walk into al la carte restaurants. 

None of the above negatively impacted our holiday and they are more of a recommendation for the future.

We had a great time and will definitely look at the mitsis chain for future holidays. It's probably the best AI weve been to in Europe and is on par with those in the Carribean!

Can’t fault a single thing about it. Pool is lovely, drinks were great and unbelievable service. The Italian restaurant had incredible food, with my wife being gluten free they catered to her needs perfectly. Matthew couldn’t have been a kinder and better host. 10/10

Amazing Dinner

Just back from another fabulous week's holiday, (3rd -10th June 2025), at Mitsis Faliraki Beach Hotel.

Big thanks to all the guest relations team but particularly, Louisa Gunther, who gave us one of the best upgrades ever, and organised my 70th Birthday 'party', (even if other people did derail it slightly), but what the hey it all ended up OK, and I was on holiday after all.

We have been to this Hotel a few times and as Mr Dimitris the restaurant manager said “Mitsis Faliraki is your home”, and the Management and staff certainly go out of their way to make it feel like that!

If I were to tip everyone that deserved it, then I would need more money than Elon Musk!

A few who did stand out, and I feel I should give a mention to, were Chrisa, the waitress who provided the drinks at the 'quiet pool', there was always a lovely smile when she served you. Also, Maria in the Greek restaurant, Savoss (Sam), in the main restaurant and Olga at the main pool bar, (sorry if I have misspelt any of your names).

Listening to people who were moaning about the food, I don't know what they eat at home. 'Larks tongues in Aspic' probably, (British joke)? 

The one complaint that I agree with, is that the chips, 'French fries', could do with a little more care in their preparation, (us Brits love our chips so if they are not 'perfect'. we are not happy bunnies). But on the whole the food is first class, particularly in the À la carte restaurants, so once again cannot fault it.

On a more general note, just a suggestion, while you have the workmen in building your new 'play courts' I think it would be a good idea to get them to knock a few holes in the walls of the Poolside toilet block and install some extractor fans, it can get a bit 'Ripe' in there at times?

Fabulous

A wonderful hotel. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The food / restaurants are all yummy. They have their own cocktails, but make the classics too if you ask. It’s spotlessly clean. The private beach is nice. 
The evening entertainment is mainly good, but it’s a lot of singers, some of which are better than others.
During the day there is a fitness team for aerobics, which they announce. Other activities aren’t publicised and therefore don’t run some days. We were there a week and they only played water polo twice despite it saying it would be on six days. My partner was a bit disappointed by this as he likes the activities on holiday.
But a very nice hotel that I would recommend.

A lovely hotel, would recommend

This hotel is ideally situated on the east coast, next to the town of Faliraki and close to the beautiful sandy beach. It is 5 km from the Afandou 18-hole golf course and only 14 km from the town of Rhodes, where guests will find a casino and other entertainment options. The comfortable accommodation and various facilities of this charming beach resort make it an ideal destination for both business and leisure stays in the city of Rhodes. The establishment features 330 guestrooms that are tastefully furnished and equipped with all modern amenities guests may need during their stay. Most of the rooms offer excellent views of the city or the hotel's swimming pool.
