Our magnificent fully refurbished hotel “Rhodos Horizon City” (ex- “Constantin”) is now under new management & ownership of “Rhodos Horizon Resort”. The awarded “Rhodos Horizon Resort” is the leading brand in Rhodes. It's privileged location in the heart of Rhodes Town, opposite of the Casino, 300m to the beach, 1,7 km to Medieval city, 15 km to the airport & 1,7 km to the Main Port. Our hotel is comprised of 150 spacious, modern and elegant rooms and suites with incredible views to the city of Rhodes. All rooms provide tea & coffee facilities, kettle, A/C, safe, satellite TV & mini bar.It operates on bed and breakfast basis but there is also “A la Carte” restaurant on-site for our designated guests.Reception is operating 24/7. The hotel provides a well-equipped fitness center (no charge) ,sauna (free of charge with reservation), game room with billiards (with charge) and table tennis.

Modern, clean & convenient, but could do better in certain aspects
Positives -
- Location is excellent, very convenient to beaches, harbour/port and old town.
- The hotel is really modern and clean.
- The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage space.
- The restaurant menu/ food is fantastic and great value for money and the staff in the restaurant are friendly. The breakfast is adequate although there is plenty of variety.
- The swimming pool area is relatively small and mostly in shade but well kept
Negatives.
- Our room had a pool view and it was extremely noisy as the extractor fans from the kitchen were on from around 5.30 am to 9.30/10 pm daily. In addition to this, the housekeeping staff were rattling around in the corridor from 6.30 am every morning and we could also hear noise from other rooms.
- We had requested a double room, but we had 2 single beds pushed together which kept separating and was not compatible with a comfortable night's sleep.
- The in-room facilities were basic with no iron/ ironing board available even upon request and instead they offer pressing facilities at 4 Euros per item!

Excellent
We are currently 6 nights into our 7 nights in this excellent hotel. This hotel is absolutely perfectly located for everything in Rhodes town. A few minutes walk in various directions from everything the town has to offer e.g. the old town, the harbour, beaches, shopping. There are lots of really good welcoming bars and restaurants very close to the hotel, and the central area of the newer part of town is very close where we were spoiled for choice for relaxed evenings dining out and having a really good cocktail or two. The hotel itself is impressive. All the staff were welcoming and warm, they are a credit to this very well ran hotel. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the rooms are very well appointed and the shower in the en-suite is excellent, really powerful. The air conditioning is extremely easy to control and works flawlessly. The breakfast buffet offer is up there with the best I’ve seen at any hotel I’ve stayed at over the years. A really extensive and good quality selection of just about everything, including the choice of a cooked English style breakfast if that is your thing. Great cooked to order omelettes, and good coffee too. The pool area is small, but this is a city hotel, and we found the pool refreshing for a dip on a couple of hot afternoons. The area is quiet and relaxing with easy access to the bar area a few metres away for drinks/snacks, and you won’t have any trouble getting a sun lounger if you want one. To be fair lying on sunloungers all day whilst having travelled a couple of thousand miles to somewhere as interesting and stunning as Rhodes isn’t really our thing and seems wasteful to us, especially when it is easy to walk to the beach, which offers stunning views and lots of water activities such as para gliding, jet skis etc, or just chilling. This hotel is child free also which is a huge bonus, and contributes massively to its relaxing laid back atmosphere. The food and drink prices in the hotel are comparable to the local area which is unusual, most hotels in our experience tend to be higher priced than establishments outside. My top tip for a visit would be: visit and explore the old town. The historical architecture is beautiful and definitely worth exploring and stopping maybe for a drink or two. However based on our experience, when it comes to dining (having a nice evening meal out), avoid, avoid, avoid, except maybe for a coffee/ snack at midday. The old town is like a ‘Disneyland’ version of Greece, it’s not real any more, just overpriced poor quality restaurants that granted might look great, but with constant hassle to go in every time you walk past. And street after street of tourist tat, and packed with people from the cruise ships flooding in. Venture a couple of minutes outside the Old Town and you can stop and read menus in your own time without hassle, and the food quality and pricing is definitely way better. So, back to the hotel. If you are an couple going on holiday by yourselves or with a few other friends with no kids, based on personal experience of getting to know Rhodes town reasonably well, I can’t think of a better place to stay that the Horizon City. Recommended without any reservations.

Brilliant hotel. Great staff.
We have just finished a weeks stay at this lovely hotel.
Room was lovely, we stayed on the 5th floor room 526. This room has a lovely view of the sea.
We couldn’t fault the room at all. Nice and modern, plenty of storage space, really clean, maid service every day, power shower and really comfortable beds. The beds were 2 singles pushed together but they never moved.
When we first got in the room there was a small gift box and a bottle of red wine which was a lovely touch, also the mini fridge had complimentary drinks in and some nuts which was very nice.
On arriving at the hotel, the receptionist was lovely and gave us a free glass on fizz. The reception team greeted us every time we entered the hotel wishing us a good morning or evening.
We stayed bed and breakfast. The food at the hotel is really good. Breakfast choices were ample.
We had a “snack” one day off the light bites menu, it was a gyros and it was massive 🤣.
I used the gym a few times, there was enough to get you by whilst away and there is a personal trainer too which is a great touch. I booked a session with him (this is free by the way) and really benefited from it. Really knowledgeable chap and very friendly.
Used the pool a couple of times but oh my good it’s like an ice bath! The beach is a stones throw away so went there most days.
Location wise it’s absolutely brilliant. The old town and new town are close by as is the harbour.
Really good hotel ran by really nice people.

Don’t Stay in Room 108
The hotel was terrific. Fantastic location near old town and surrounded by other restaurants. The few staff we encountered were all nice and helpful. The hotel was modern and very clean. BUT….
Our sons were assigned room 109 which was great. 108 was not. It’s a large open concept room, meaning there was nothing separating the toilet and shower from the rest of the room. No privacy whatsoever.
Second, it had this mysterious back door leading to a stairway down toward the kitchen. The stairwell was well lit and the light shined into bedroom, until I convinced the desk clerk to remove the light bulbs. But still, the stairwell itself was very noisy, especially early in the morning at breakfast prep and the noise echoed into our room.
Thirdly, it had three large windows and plenty of light and a view of NOTHING. We had to keep the shades closed because of neighboring rooms.
Loved the hotel. Stay there. But if you’re assigned 108, get out.

Choose an island suite if you can
We were only in Rhodes for 1 night to fly home and this hotel made the perfect end to our 3 week holiday. On arrival we were upgraded to an island suite which was stunning. The room, bed , balcony and view are all amazing. We ate in the hotel, the octopus and beef steak for dinner were both delicious, the breakfast plentiful and fresh and there was good snack choices for lunch. The cocktails weren't that good unfortunately . Would 100% recommend the island suite if your budget permits
