Mitsis Petit Palais

What a lovely, if a little outdated hotel! The staff were generally helpful and polite, especially the cleaners. The location was perfect and close to the Old Town and sea. I know some folks complained about building work but this was only a minor irritation.

Food was buffet service and fairly 'samey' everyday - Mediterranean Night...Greek Night etc., but good standard. Drinks were worth the all inclusive price and the outdoor bar staff were so friendly!

Lift broke and there seemed no urgency to get it fixed but perhaps this was as end of season, but it was annoying to wait twice as long for lift trip!

Overall a good stay and very rested. Hope end of season sees attempts to update rooms. Reasonable value for holiday but only just.

My son and I stayed at the Canvas by Mitsis Petit Palais hotel for seven nights from late April to early May of 2026.

The stay was a much needed rest for us both, and the week we had was a brilliant way to recover from some stress and fatigue that we were feeling in England. The atmosphere at the hotel is relaxed, and yet the staff are courteous, hard working, friendly, and attentive. Water bottles are provided to the rooms, and there was regular food available throughout much of the day.

Thank you to Nektarios for the regular fresh pizza slices, and thank you to Georgia and the cleaning team for keeping the rooms clean and tidy. Both Nektarios and Georgia were both also very friendly, as well as being professional!

Generally there was a good choice of food that was always hot. Ersi who was working as part of the dining staff was also friendly, and the pool bar staff were attentive and hard working.

The reception staff were always helpful when we had any queries and were very helpful when a room change was required. Also very helpful in binding up my broken case with cling film for the journey home.

The entertainment provided in the evening was of a good quality although the space where it was held was rather small for the number of guests staying at the hotel.

However, the location of the hotel was not to our liking. This is obviously not the fault of the hard working staff at the hotel, but to put it simply, neither of us liked the general area around the hotel. We were on an all inclusive stay, but those who are not, should be aware that the restaurants locally seemed to be surprisingly expensive.

There is however, a small and reasonably priced supermarket very close to the hotel that was a welcome place for us to purchase some essentials and some souvenirs .

The Staff were super friendly and really was there to make everything clear!Check in was smooth and made a very nice first impression! The cleanliness was something that also stood out , it was very clean and the rooms were spotless!
