WONDERFUL!
Wonderful location, beautiful staff, incredible experience.
A special thanks to Mary and Despina from the front of house team for making my family and I’s trip an incredibly wonderful experience for us.
Will 100% be staying here the next time I am in Rhodes.
Never judge a book
Firstly, whoever took the photos for Jet2s website is either a miracle worker or fab at editing! The hotel rooms and pool look sod all like the pics 😜 We were slightly concerned when we arrived and thought we had made a huge mistake but looks can be deceiving.
- Rooms are dated but spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy and there were plenty pillows. There's a decent sized fridge, tea/coffee is provided in the room along with bottled water
- Breakfast is the usual buffet style and there's enough choice that even the pickiest person could find something to eat
- Evening meal is served at the sister hotel a 1 minute walk away. Again, plenty of choices. We only ate here twice as we prefer to eat at different places most nights
- Pool. Errrr, it's tiny and there are not many loungers plus the suns blocked out for most of the day......but......
- Beach. The hotel has its own section of the beach which is great. You collect towels from the reception desk and toddle across the road to claim your spot. There's a bloke who works there who checks you're from La Vita and if not he turfs you out. He keeps everything so tidy and clean and was possibly my favorite member of staff. Please slip him a bit if cash on your last day 😉
- Building works next door. We were given the option to change our booking but decided to keep what we had booked. Yes, it's a massive eyesight but there was more noise from other guests in the hotel than from the builders.
All in all we had a great week here. Location is perfect, 10 min walk to centre of Rhodes and harbour or about 15 mins to the Old Town. Don't let looks deceive you
beautiful hotel
Brilliant service, reception are so friendly and breakfast is amazing and staff are so friendly. The beach opposite is beautiful! Has lots of sun beds for everyone!

A Wonderful Week at Mitsis
We spent just over a week at Mitsis La Vita and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff here truly go above and beyond, and the overall experience was excellent from start to finish.
A special mention has to go to Despoina at reception. Her kindness, warm smile, and constant willingness to help made a real difference every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and she greeted us like old friends throughout our stay.
We also have to give a huge thank you to Alexia, the evening bartender. She's fantastic.... always up for a chat, genuinely friendly, and full of great local insights. She pointed us toward some lovely venues off the beaten path and happily shared stories about Greek life and culture, which added so much to our trip.
As for the construction across the road that some reviews mention....honestly, it's not as bad as it sounds. It didn't affect our stay in any meaningful way.
All in all, a fantastic hotel with a team that clearly cares about its guests. Highly recommend, and we'd happily come back.
