- Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort

This modern, luxurious resort is located in Ixia on the island of Rhodes, 200 metres from the pebble beach and turquoise water of the Mediterranean Sea. The more active tourists can participate in a wide range of water sports like windsurfing, kite surfing and diving, while those who believe ‘vacation' is synonymous with ‘rest' can simply soak up the sun on the beach or by the outdoor pool. Within the premises, there are other entertainment options as well, like tennis and squash courts. The contemporary elegantly decorated rooms feature rich, warm tones and bright accents, and provide the perfect setting for relaxation after a day in the sun. In the evening, the on-site restaurants serves an international buffet or Greek, Oriental, and Italian specialties.
We had a brilliant time at this hotel. Rooms was spacious and staff are excellent throughout all services. Highly recommended!
We stayed at another hotel within the same chain last year and it was hard to not compare the two, despite them offering quite different holiday types.
This hotel is much busier and centrally located. Its not far from the airport and is very close to the beach.
Beach Its not a private beach, its quite untidy and not somewhere i wanted to spend any time. Hotels in this chain have private beaches which are excellent and you can get food and drink as part of all inclusive. Obviously, public beaches dont.
Pool Just one pool outdoors which is quite large but it gets very busy. No quiet adults only pool outdoors. There is an indoor pool thats adults only.
Food This is where it lacked for me. Not as much variety and not much that made me go back for seconds as the other hotels in the chain. Food you can order from the app at the pool is excellent, limited menu, but excellent quality.
Drinks Faultless. Top quality and loads of variety.
Staff Faultless. They are excellent, professional, and a credit to the hotel.
Rooms We had a Junior suite with a pool. Quite large but a little dull inside compared to other rooms available within this chain. Jacuzzi bath was fun, pool was a good size. Mini bar was OK but the beer available was some kind of pale ale that wasnt very nice. Aside that, there was loads of wine and soft drinks. Very clean, fresh towels provided every morning and afternoon, mini bar restocked daily. Bed was comfy, too. Being picky, there were 3 of us in the room but they only provided 2 of everything. Sharing was not fun. Plus, no clothes maiden for drying, no iron, no ironing board. I requested these but there wasnt a drying maiden located in the entire hotel. Hence, on a few windy days, my shorts ended up in the pool overnight while drying on a patio chair. Awesome view from the balcony though.
Service Generally excellent but the staff are easily overwhelmed at busy times. Lots of empty spots on the buffet at peak times with long waits for some food items. Plus, drinks service at dinner time is not great. We had finished eating by the time we were approached for a drink on several occasions over the week.
Games room Is OK, decent arcade and a few pool tables. Pool tables are a bit faulty, so be prepared to only get 7 balls in some games.
Spa Excellent. Large warm pool, adults only, sauna and steam room. Very peaceful and enjoyable. One of the best features of the hotel.
Overall I ask myself, would I go back? No.... definitely not. Is it a bad hotel? No, far from it. Its excellent quality overall, very clean, well maintained, staff are excellent, drinks are brilliant, food is very good for the most part, but I wouldnt go back purely because I know I can go elsewhere for less money and have a better experience. Thats an experience that suits me.
If you want a lively, noisy, child friendly hotel, that gets very busy then knock yourself out here. I think if you have kids its excellent, its very close to the airport and is located in a good spot for exploring. Although, after all the kids left at the start of Sept they paraded Mickey Mouse around the pool when there were hardly any kids. Strange timing.
Will you enjoy it? Yes. Is it the best for your money? No But the location makes it better if you have kids.
From the beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities to the warm and attentive service, everything made our experience truly special. A special thank you to Claudio, the Guest Relations Manager, for his professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well looked after throughout our stay.
We would also like to thank Linette, the Spa Manager, for her exceptional service and attention to detail. The spa experience was relaxing and enjoyable, and her warm and professional approach made it even more memorable.
Thank you to the entire team at Atrium Platinum for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning!
From the moment you arrive, Atrium Platinum delivers a seamless blend of five-star luxury, stunning Aegean views, and exceptional hospitality. The resort's sleek design, magnificent pools, and high-end amenities set a high bar, but it is the world-class team that truly makes this hotel extraordinary. The level of service here is second to none, largely thanks to Claudio, the Guest Relations Manager. Claudio sets the standard for personalized care—attentive, warm, and always one step ahead, ensuring every aspect of your stay is effortless and special. Over at the bar, Julian, the Bar Manager, runs a fantastic operation. His passion for mixology and commitment to quality shine through in every crafted drink and smooth interaction. Working alongside him are Katerina and Sofia, who bring unmatched energy, charm, and skill to the bar. Their friendly conversations, attention to detail, and incredible craft cocktails elevate every evening into a memorable experience. Whether you are lounging by the pool, dining at the gourmet restaurants, or unwinding with a drink in the evening, the staff’s genuine warmth makes you feel right at home.
A wonderful return to a wonderful place. We travel the world for business and this is the place we choose to spend our precious downtime. The staff are the highlight, particularly Klaudio and Michalis who simply cannot do enough for you. Facilities are always immaculate, food is amazing and the pool manger does a superb job of managing sunbeds so you never go without. The premium all inclusive is great value…if you want champagne for breakfast lunch and dinner that’s no problem. By admission, our bar is high and the Atrium and its staff always surpass our expectations. The hotel is the right size…big enough to offer choice but not so large that you feel like you are one of many. You feel like family here. We can’t wait to come back.
