This charming hotel commands a remarkable position on the island, situated in the middle of a beautiful bay, 800 m from the picturesque St. Paul's bay and church, 1 km from the village of Lindos and 2 km from the resort of Pefkos. Diagoras Airport is some 50 km from the hotel, whose interior blends simple chic with classic Greek style. The hotel is built in bungalow style and offers 40 rooms, all with their own private balcony or veranda. The rooms are elegant and in keeping with the simple nature of the Greek islands, but fitted with all modern necessities. The swimming pool is surrounded by gardens, set against the red volcanic rock of the mountainside and has its own views of the spectacular bay of Psaltos. Guests can enjoy a drink at the poolside snack bar and relax with the sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use.

Gorgeous hotel just don’t bank on later check out times
This is a gorgeous hotel and perfectly positioned between Lindos and the quieter Pefkos where you can enjoy both towns. Staff are lovely and breakfast is great with a wide selection. I’d just be careful if you value the option of being able to keep your room a bit longer with Rhodes tending to have late flights. The option to do that doesn’t seem possible for anyone, with very strict cleaning schedules that don’t seem to flex around room availability which I’ve seen many other hotels manage.

The cool vibe Hotel: Rest Assured Lindos Sun is amazing.
The Lindon Sun hotel is located in Navarone Bay. The area has a stunning rugged beauty and this welcoming hotel served as the perfect base for our little adventures. Its backdrop are the hills and cliffs that formed a dramatic, rocky, headland that rises steeply into the interior. It blended impressive hospitality with great staff and an exceptional pool fit for proper swimming. It sits in an elevated, hillside position nestled between the historic town of Lindos and the resort village of Pefkos. This setup offers panoramic views looking directly across the waters of the bay.
Your welcome is warm, friendly and efficient. The rooms were absolutely lovely. Well presented, clean, and the beds were really comfortable. ALL the staff were all lovely; obliging and nothing was a problem. The pool surround and public areas are well maintained and spotless. The vibe of the hotel was one of relaxation. Sun beds were readily available and pool towels supplied from the reception area. You are only charged the € 20 for 2 towels if you lose them! Towels could be swapped daily.
Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and the wide array of breakfasts was of a high standard and the staff were attentive. Off those eating on the breakfast terrace there was a special delight for each morning we had the delight of witnessing the amazing balancing act of the herds of mountain goats as they navigated the seemingly impossible descent to their grazing area behind the hotel’s breakfast room. They were real characters. They may have been feral mountain goats but these agile little daredevils were everywhere, casually scaling the sheer cliff faces and adding a wonderful touch of wild charm to the daily scenery.
Located equally distant between Lindos village and Pefkos town. Whilst Lindos village is completely unique, a pedestrian-only paradise defined by its labyrinth of steep, narrow, cobbled alleys and stunning whitewashed houses nestled beneath an ancient Acropolis. Pefkos is a complete contrast and a purpose-built modern holiday hub. You could be almost anywhere in the Mediterranean with a flat centre built around a main strip of cocktail bars and souvenir shops. However, just the south of the town very narrow beaches was Kavos beach. Just an hour’s walk away and with its calm, shallow, waters and beautifully golden sand, it was the ultimate place to soak up the Aegean sunshine.
Lindos Sun’s restaurant was very good. Food was of a very high quality with large portions and an excellent wine list; prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Lindos and had chilled vide. Special mention for Neil, the night time receptionist. Always a warming smile.
. I would suggest the hotel is designed with an upscale, tranquil boutique vibe and it delivers just that. We really enjoyed our sun-drenched slice of paradise. It hit all the right notes for an unforgettable holiday, one that combined ancient charm with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Thank you, RHODES.

Stunning hotel
Absolutely loved this hotel, felt like you were in a mini village rather than a resort.
-Breakfast- very fresh with lots of choice, if you require gluten free bread, just ask the chef and they toast it out the back for you.
-Pool bar- great menu and big portions at reasonable prices (gluten free options again, you just need to ask)
-Le Grec- what a fabulous fine dining experience on site! Absolutely gorgeous food, again great with allergies. We visited 3 times and would highly recommend.
-Room service- fairly small menu but very cheap and convenient to have dinner on the balcony after a long day!
-Staff- all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
-Rooms- our room didn’t look like any of the pictures I’d seen so, somewhat of a surprise. Fairly basic but did the job as we were hardly there. We were on the top floor and there is no lifts, so something to note if stairs aren’t for you.
-Lindos- whilst it is only about a 25 min walk, it’s uphill with no shade so it was very difficult in 35c heat but very easy to get taxis from reception. Lindos itself is absolutely stunning! Beautiful restaurants and bars, lovely beaches, just fell in love with the place.
I would definitely stay in Lindos sun hotel again. We actually liked that it was a little bit further out and gave us a break from a busy Lindos!

A lovely hotel
Whilst this hotel is a bit out of Lindos it has beautiful views and Lindos town is about a 25 minute walk away or a bus ride (€2.20) or a short taxi ride (€10). The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A shout out to Dimitri in the hotel bar for his helpfulness and kindness when my partner had a fall a short walk from the hotel. Reception staff, pool bar staff, restaurant staff and cleaners are a real credit to the hotel owners. Food: we ate at Le Grec four times and for the most part the food was excellent. I also thought it well priced for the quality. Breakfast offers a superb selection of options and included a cooking station where fresh poached or fried eggs and omelettes are made to order. We particularly welcomed the option to be offered a wide selection of coffees and teas. Former reviews have mentioned slow service in bringing coffees but that was not the case for us. We could not fault the breakfast service. Rooms: please be aware that some rooms are up steep stairs so might not be suitable for those with walking difficulties. We had a superior sea view room. It had a huge balcony and was furnished in a pleasing modern way. However, there were no chairs, bedside cabinets or a folding suitcase rack. I have come to expect these as standard in a 4* hotel. I also felt the bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear nor was there anywhere to put toiletries whilst showering. I do not think it would take a lot of money to improve the standard of the bedrooms. Others have mentioned some of this in previous reviews. Take me back!
Returned from a weeks stay here and was not disappointed. On arriving at the hotel the service was excellent, from reception, to the pool bar, restuarant, cleaners and the gentleman who fetched us to our room on the buggy (which was much appreciated). We were always greeted with a smile and hello, this hotel is definetely getting it right in terms of the staff they have. The breakfast on a morning is one of the best selections i have seen, cereals, pastries, jams, fruit, hams,cheeses and then your more traditional english items such as bacon, beans etc and not forgetting the egg station, the guy on there always has a smile and does the best omlettes. We visited the pool bar several times, the menu was extensive and reasonably priced which is good to see. The gyros platter there was really nice and enough to share. As we has booked our stay well in advance we were half board (now not available) and therefore visited Le Grec several times as part of this. The lady and gentleman were always really friendly and attentive and one of the nights the chef even came up and asked if all ok which was a nice touch. The food here is lovely and i love the ideas the chef has. I have to say the lamb was definetely by favourite dish. The only thing i would say is that portion sizes are huge and some of the side dishes would have easily fed 3 or 4 not 1 person due to this we rarely made it to dessert although on the occasion that we did the cheesecake was lovely. The restaurant could really do with some marketing as it was never very full however is in an ideal location for passing trade, maybe a sign out front and 10% off for guests would increase footfall plus as one of the previous reviews mentioned a traditional greek night once a week would surely bring in the crowds. The location is a little out of the way, around 20 minutes walk to Lindos which i wouldnt recommend in the heat as its uphill however a taxi there and walk back was lovely. We also visited Pefkos during our stay and it was nice to have the choice. We would 100% return to this hotel.
