Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I was a bit worried coming here due to some reviews, but currently half way through our stay here in a superior double room with sea view. Rooms are cleaned daily and to a good standard, rooms are quite basic and simple but overall not a bad room. Food is good, changed every day and always something for someone, I recommend the pasta and pizza station, very good, the waterpark slide pools are quite dirty and murky waters, but will still have a good time. There is a slight smell next to the main pool, it’s not very strong and comes and goes, adults only relaxed pools are good and there is a private area for swimming at the beach, the beach itself is quite rocky. Entertainment is good, singers and DJ’s every night and karaoke nights. Snack bars are good, Gyro’s are insanely good and always good available if you’re hungry. Not much to do around the hotel and it’s quite secluded away from Lindos, which we liked. Staff are friendly and will do anything for you if you’re respectful, especially the bar staff! Would we stay here again? Absolutely. I would not be put off. Is it a 5 star? No, it’s not, it’s very close but there are certain small things, like the rooms, cleanliness of pools, service, rooms that makes this a solid 4 star.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! ive been here 2 hrs and I already want to go home! Dont let the nice pictures fool you! Our room is AWFUL! it smells like a public toilet! Floor was dirty upon arrival, its VERY BASIC not what you would expect of a high starred hotel! The lock on our main door doesnt work on the inside, the balcony door handle is loose, the paint work is shabby, the room walls and windows are paper thin! There are dead flies all over the curtains, the fridge needs badly defrosted, there were 2 bottles if water in it...thats all
We had an amazing stay at Lindos Royal Resort this summer in July — two families (4 adults, 1 kid, and 1 infant). The weather was amazing, and the resort itself is a very nice, big complex with quite a few swimming pools for all ages. The pools are clean and the water temperature is very comfortable, staff clean the pools every day. The food was very good. Breakfast starts at 7am, which is great for early risers. Lunch and dinner offer a nice variety for everyone — meat, fish, salads, a special Italian corner, fresh fruit, and lovely desserts. There's plenty of entertainment during the day, such as pool dances, darts, water polo, beach volleyball, a special kids' club for the little ones, and live music performances in the evening. Our rooms were very nice, with a balcony and amazing sea view, and the rooms were cleaned every day. We really enjoyed our stay at Lindos Royal Resort and will definitely recommend it to our friends. A special thank you to Valasia Diakou, who helped us on arrival and was our main contact throughout our stay. She was very responsive and helpful — that kind of gesture is very much appreciated and remembered.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel!!! 3 star at best. So disappointing!. Firstly, the smell all day and evening from in and around the pool area was disgusting. And this was the main pool!!!....the other pool with the slides was always very busy and seemed to be very murky. The other pools that you see in the photos are toddlers pools, so they're only 1ft deep, so no good for adults. Totally misleading photos. And obviously the adult pools are no good if you have children. Then, the air conditioning was so poor. I asked reception near enough every day to see if it could get sorted. I ended up giving up asking, terrible really, as it was very warm every time we were in the room to get ready to out or to go to sleep. Cocktails were poor. Served in tiny plastic cups and never the same. Also, all inclusive finished at 11pm, which is far too early. Daytime and evening entertainment was poor (although the the staff were trying their best). Very little for children to do other than swim in the smelly murky tiny pools ( no park, no areas to play, nothing). The hotel looks nice on arrival, but the deeper you go into the hotel, the more dated and under-maintained it felt. Very few bar staff day and night, so you always had to queue for any type of drinks. The beach was quite nice, but no toilet or bar , so you'd have to walk for 10 minutes back to the hotel if you wanted either. Food to be fair was nice and had a good variety but always very busy. So much more I could put on here. It just seems that whoever owns the hotel spends the minimum £££ and receives the maximum £££. So so poor. Very disappointed as we saved up for a long time to have a holiday.
Amazing hotel! This was our second time can see some great changes even from last year. Kids love it. Food is great. Beach and pools are brilliant. ALL the staff are amazing especially the manager Valasia who really made our holiday.
