No way is this a 5 star hotel…. Very disappointed
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel by any sense of the word. Maybe a 3 star at most. The hotel and rooms are tired and in need of major refurbishment. The 2nd of 5 rooms we had for our party had a leaking ceiling by day 4. Reception and maintenance deemed it appropriate to move the bed, change the sheets (despite the mattress being wet) and put a towel on the floor. Ended up having our 18yr old sharing with us for last 2 nights and 20yr old nephew in with his parents. The ceiling collapsed before the end of our stay…. Thank god we didn’t let them stay in the room.
The buffet food is ok, all inclusive bar is good. Restaurant and bar staff are absolutely lovely.Be prepared for endless stray cats around the restaurant and pool area.
If you want to go anywhere you will have to get a taxi… 50 euro return to Lindos, 200 euro return to Rhodes. Absolutely nothing to do apart from the pools in the resort with a little bit of entertainment in the evening.
Definitely wouldn’t return here anytime soon.
A very disappointing experience at Lindos Royal
We recently returned from 11-night stay at Lindos Royal Resort. Unfortunately, this is nowhere near a 5-star resort — in our opinion, it is a basic 3-star with potential to improve.
Arrival: We arrived late night, at around 10.30pm and faced a 45-minute check-in queue. No food available once the main restaurant is closed, so If arriving late, bring your own food!
Food & drinks: Breakfast was disappointing, with limited choice and no fresh orange juice or omelette/egg station. Lunch was average, while dinner was better, mainly thanks to the Italian station. All the drinks we had to fetch ourselves as staff did not serve water, coffee or wine at the tables. Cocktails and alcoholic drinks were extremely watered down.
Pools & beach: The pool areas are small, dated and poorly maintained, with broken/chipped tiles and exposed electrics, with cigarette butts and spilled drinks. The private beach is beautiful and spacious but badly neglected.
Customer service: This was the biggest disappointment, the reception staff in particular were extremely rude and unprofessional.
Rooms: Our room had broken air conditioning, damaged furniture, chipped tiles, exposed electrics and was full of bugs. Cleaning standards were also very poor.
Weirdly, smoking is permitted almost everywhere outdoors, including around the pools, beach, even outdoor areas of the main restaurant.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend Lindos Royal Resort.
Daughter wedding
We were a bit sceptical after the reviews we had read in the weeks before leaving . We arrived late on the Monday night and still had some hot food waiting until 2.00 , the hotel was very good and staff cleaning through out the day and the food was very good compared to other all inclusive hotels we have stayed in , although the cocktails could have been better from the pool bar but they was from a machine. Our room was spotless with a great sea view looking over the beach , the cleaners were really friendly, the entertainment was ok although there no entertainment on a a Saturday night a-bit strange and the bars shut at 11pm but there is a bar where you can buy drinks at a reasonable price until 12.30 am , I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back here again.

A place to visit
We had a wonderful stay at Lindos Royal Resort in Rhodes and truly enjoyed our holiday.
The resort has a beautiful location and is a great choice for families with children. The food was excellent — tasty, fresh and very diverse, with plenty of options for everyone.
The service was very good, and we would like to give a special thank you to Madalin Brundus, who made a real difference to our stay. He was always ready to help, including with a few small inconveniences regarding our room. He also gave us great recommendations about places to visit and things to see in Rhodes, which helped us make the most of our holiday.
We really appreciated his helpfulness and personal attention.
Thank you to the entire team for a lovely holiday, and especially to Madalin for making our experience even better. We would happily return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lindos Royal Resort
We had a great stay at Lindos Royal Resort! The food was really good and varied, and the resort is in a beautiful location, especially for families with children.
A big thank you to Madalin Brundus, who was always around when we needed some help. He was very approachable and gave us some really useful recommendations, including places for fishing and boat trips, as well as ideas for exploring Rhodes. He also helped us sort out a few small things with our room, which we really appreciated.
Overall, a lovely holiday and a great experience. Thank you to the whole team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
