Lindos Mare Hotel

Beautiful hotel and location. Staff very attentive throughout our stay, impeccably clean throughout the whole hotel. The food here was also one of the highlights. Lots of variety each evening, tasty, fresh. We ate out in Lindos town one evening and actually missed the food in the hotel. The added touch of being able to book a sit down meal twice for the week was also lovely - portion sizes very generous to say the least. The private area on the beach is perfect, we spent every day here. Ample sunbeds. Room was comfortable although not all rooms seem to have yet been upgraded to the same spec as the photos on the website. However we were comfortable and had a gorgeous view, the room was just not quite as modern as expected.

Nice drinks and cocktails albeit slightly pricey. Lindos isn’t in walking distance but taxi cost 10 euros and I believe there is a bus stop. We enjoyed mainly relaxing in the hotel. Gym also of a good spec!

This was our second time staying at Lindos Mare and it was again a lovely stay. It was nice to see a lot of the same staff members from the prior year, who were again so friendly and provided a great service. The food in the buffet and a la carte restaurants was very good quality, especially Pelagos. The room was clean and the sea views were amazing. We were grateful to receive a few complimentary bottles of alcohol too during our stay. The location is quite remote and not within walking distance of much aside from a pebble beach, shop and a few other hotels. Lindos is a short 5 minute taxi away (or you can get the bus outside the hotel for a few euros). We would definitely want to return again in the future, although the prices do seem to have gone up a lot for next summer already, but this might be expected with the quality of the hotel.
