Lovely week
Just home from a lovely week in Lindos. Booked on a half board basis. This gave us access to the buffet restaurant, or the two à la carte restaurants. (With certain restrictions) Much preferred the à la carte. The buffet in the evening was very busy and canteen like. We didn’t use the pool area, as we preferred the beach. Lovely sunbeds, with plenty of room and shade if required. Beach towels had to be obtained from the spa, but you were asked to use them for two days. A little inconvenient not having a station at the pool/beach to do this. We ate out of the hotel twice and took a taxi into the old town. This is a lovely spot, buzzing with shops, restaurants and bars. We realised that we would have preferred to be staying within walking distance, so that we could enjoy the nightlife. We had booked a standard double room, but were given an upgrade to a superior. Although this was a lovely touch, the room was the one disappointment. Tiny bathroom and slightly clinical feeling. No robes in the room (until we requested them) No turndown service. Just didn’t get the 5 star feel from the room. Hence the 4 star review. Overall we had a lovely restful week, with beautiful weather and the staff are all wonderful.

Amazing as always,
The staff are amazing the food is outstanding we were couple then my daugter and family came then 2 more family members couple days later, the only thing is they struggled with a table of 6 which was frustrating, This is still heaven on earth though

Just returned from a week here at the Lindos Mare and it was fantastic. The staff here cannot do enough for you, the hotel is spotless, the location is spot on and the views are something else. The food is plentiful and varied but the drinks are a little expensive. We stayed here for our honeymoon and were greeted with a glass of champagne at reception and a bottle of bubbles in our room which was lovely. We were in room 512 which was on one of the lower floors and had no complaints, a spacious balcony area, great air conditioning and an awesome shower. There are many floors that go down towards the beach (I don’t know how many) with lots of stairs and (I think) 4 separate lifts, including a cable car which in September they were normally no queues to use them. They aren’t the biggest lifts. Overall no complaints here, would highly recommend the Lindos Mare
Exceptional Stay a Fantastic Hotel
I’m writing while we are still at the hotel and we have nothing more than high praise for the hotel. The rooms are well stocked with a coffee machine, fridge, comfortable beds and a cracking shower. The food and service is excellent and we attended the Fine Dining Experience last night which was outstanding while we are attending the Greek Evening tonight. Special mention to Dimitris in the Spa who worked well on my back issues which eased my pain and definitely worthwhile have the Cretan Massage. The team in the pool bar are very friendly and attentive, the likes of Andy, Ambrosia and Anna were an asset to the hotel. The entertainment was decent especially the singing teams. My wife came to the hotel last year and spoke highly and I 100% endorse that. We have had a tremendous stay and highly recommended. Just a note it’s ten euros for a taxi into Lindos as it’s not advisable to walk there.

Great 3rd visit!
We have just returned from our third visit to this hotel and it was brilliant as usual. We got a lovely welcome from the staff, many of whom we knew from previous visits. The hotel is so friendly and you can be assured of a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. The new sun beds on the beach are very comfortable and the sea was warm and inviting. This year we even saw turtles in the sea! The food as always was delicious and beautifully presented in all the restaurants and I especially appreciated the a la carte options at dinner. The weather was glorious as expected.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so perfect and see you in 2027!
