- Olive Garden Hotel

The hotel is only 400 m away from the beach and 1.5 km from the town centre of Lardos. The property, with its endless gardens and remote setting, provides guests with peace and relaxation. Guests will enjoy the high standards of its setting. Hotel offers a lobby bar, restaurant and a car parking area. Further facilities include a currency exchange, a games room and a children's playground. The rooms are very simple with modern decor. They all are en suite and have a private balcony/terrace. Standard in-room amenities include a satellite TV, fridge and telephone. The air-conditioning is individually regulated. Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the hotel's outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area or relax with a drink at the poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are provided at the hotel and at the nearby sandy and pebble beach.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a good stay as a family. The hotel was fine and the food was okay, but wish there was more meat options without pork. The staff were friendly, especially Rio from the animation team. He was always very friendly, funny, and full of good energy every day. He really made our stay more enjoyable. It’s nice for families with kids, and to relax.
I was Wit my familie i likę the hotel staff nice management as Wells itd perfect and the most important personę in hotel RIO he make House holiday Gretą thank you for the Locke time and atmosfera
Our stay at Olive Garden was decent for the price we paid. The highlights were the pool facilities and the water park. The outdoor area by the bar was also very nice.
However, the hotel fell well short of what you would expect from a four-star property. When we arrived, we were given a room where the underside of the mattress was covered in mold, and there were ants and insects everywhere. The staff were understanding when we asked to change rooms, but the new room also had a significant insect problem. When I pointed this out, I was simply told that this was something to expect in a ground-floor room.
At the water park, I found a dead mouse in the sprinkler area. When I reported it, the staff responded by saying that it was probably fine and that I shouldn’t worry about it.
The hotel had a kids’ club, but it was essentially only for Polish-speaking children, as the staff communicated exclusively in Polish.
The rooms were decent but worn and very basic. On the positive side, they were well soundproofed.
For an all-inclusive hotel, the selection of drinks was disappointing. All cocktails were made using an automated dispensing system. If you wanted more well-known cocktails such as a Mojito or an Aperol Spritz, you had to pay extra. The wine was undrinkable.
The buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There was also a reasonable variety of food, but very few of the dishes actually tasted good.
Overall, we didn’t pay very much for the trip, so we were reasonably satisfied considering the price. That said, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else.
I rate this hotel very poorly. Don't be fooled. The place looks nothing like the photos, as they are several years old. There is a strong smell of sewage throughout much of the complex. One of the buildings is located right next to a septic tank. They don't give a water in rooms.
We arrived early hours of the morning to check-in, this was very quick by the night receptionist and drinks and sandwiches were available. Rooms were good, air-conditioning worked well in all but one of our parties rooms. This was dealt with and they were moved to another room. The food was great at the buffet and the staff have every thing under control. The gyros and pizza hut are a great way to snack during the day especially if you have missed breakfast or decide not to sit down for lunch. The staff work tirelessly all day. The bars are well manned and you never have to wait long to be served. There is plenty to choose from. The kids were able to try mocktails and this is also where the ice creams are served. The pools are clean and sun loungers are always available. The waterpark is great for all ages. Everyone in our group enjoyed the slides and lazy river. Just read the rules when you go and there will be no whistles! The entertainers work hard to keep you busy. We mainly sat around the bar area in the evenings and that was enough for our large party. All in all I would recommend this lovely hotel to any age. We have had the best week at The Olive Garden Hotel. Thank you and keep up the good work.
