An Unforgettable 25th Wedding Anniversary – 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at SENTIDO Port Royal Villas & Spa in Rhodes, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We stayed all-inclusive in a bungalow with a hydro pool, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional.

We arrived around midnight, expecting a straightforward check-in, but the hotel had arranged a surprise late supper, champagne and a chocolate cake to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. What a lovely, thoughtful gesture! It immediately set the tone for a truly memorable holiday and demonstrated the attention to detail that runs throughout this hotel.

The absolute highlight, however, was the service and the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely keen to make our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble, and you really felt that they cared about your experience rather than simply doing their jobs.

A special mention must go to Romero, who manages the private beach, and Giota, who runs the Italian restaurant. Both were outstanding and deserve particular recognition for their warmth, dedication and fantastic service. The hotel also has a wonderful Japanese-style restaurant, which adds even more variety to the excellent dining options. That said, all the staff were stars, and the hotel should be incredibly proud of its team.

We were particularly impressed by how accommodating the hotel was for my wife, who has mobility issues. There are a few steps around the reception and some of the rooms, so it is worth discussing your specific requirements with the hotel beforehand. However, there are plenty of lifts, and the team will take you to and from the beach in their buggies if you request this at reception. This made a real difference to our holiday and allowed us to enjoy the facilities without worrying unnecessarily about getting around.

The all-inclusive offering was excellent, the Italian restaurant was a real highlight, and the Japanese-style restaurant provided another fantastic dining experience. Having our own hydro pool added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation.

What really sets SENTIDO Port Royal apart is its ability to combine a beautiful setting and excellent facilities with genuine hospitality and an outstanding eye for detail. It is those little touches, the personal service and the people who work there that turn a good holiday into a special one.

We came to celebrate 25 years of marriage and left with some wonderful memories. It was a genuinely memorable trip, and we would return without hesitation.

We had an excellent stay here and would highly recommend if you're looking for a luxury escape in Rhodes. The main pool area is stunning, plus it's heated in October - which we've found hard to find in Greece - and something that definitely benefits an autumn trip. The whole hotel is immaculately clean, the food has been fantastic and the cocktails at Cibus are of a superb quality. This hotel has a fantastic team and the hospitality here is some of the best we've experienced. Giota at Armira restaurant is an incredible host and helped make our stay really special with her warmth and professionalism. Apostolos provided the most fantastic welcome, George at Cibus made our evenings at the cocktail bar very memorable and Leela and Maria were also lovely. We had one day of bad weather during our trip and the speed of sorting the beach and pool areas was impressive! The whole team work very hard to create a great holiday experience. We will hopefully be back.

Beautifully designed resort, there are two main pool areas, divided by buildings and manicured gardens. Our room overlooked the main pool (stunningly lit at night, as were all areas). The food in the main restaurant is served buffet style and is excellent. We went in late September and the weather was perfect. There were also just the right amount of guests versus space - great atmosphere without being crowded. No rushing to get a sunbed! Aldo, the resort has its own area (with plenty of sun beds and parasols) on the adjoining beach. Kolymbia town is right on the doorstep and had done nice bars, restaurants, shops for basics and plenty of souvenir shops too. We only did one excursion whilst there: a trip to Rhodes old town. Catch the bus from Kolymbia Main Street (€4 per person each way). The old town is vast and stunning - well worth a visit. Special shout out to the staff at Port Royal, who were wonderful and really made the holiday extra special.
