Holidays in Rhodos
We went to Rhodes and stayed at the Marathon Hotel for a total of 10 days. We’re leaving here with a brilliant impression – everyone here is very kind and friendly, the bar staff are extremely polite and do their job brilliantly, the cocktails and beers are delicious, and the overall service is impeccable. The reception staff are always ready to help. At the start of our stay, we were given a room by the pool which was rather noisy, but after we mentioned this to reception, we were easily moved to a room in a quieter part of the hotel. We must also mention the food, which is very tasty and varied – there’s something new and surprising every day. By the pool, there’s also a spot where they serve delicious wood-fired pizza, and in the evening you can enjoy a delicious traditional gyros here. As for the rooms, they are very clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, and the housekeeping service is also of a very high standard. The rooms are cleaned daily, and towels are changed every day. The hotel also has two swimming pools, each with sun loungers, so there’s always a spot for everyone. We mustn’t forget the fantastic themed evenings organised by the wonderful entertainment coordinator Max, a.k.a. ‘Mr Sabotage’. He is a wonderfull person who connects brilliantly with guests, and he is very funny ,a T-shirt from him is a must-have souvenir from the trip. We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this hotel – we’ll definitely come back.
