Enjoyed it so much!
We had the pleasure of returning to the Leonardo Kolymbia Resort in September and were not disappointed in anyway! The welcome as we booked in, Irene, Katerina and Giannis who remembered us from last year made us feel as if we were coming home! The restaurant staff so hard working and helpful in every way, Eleni’s omlettes as good as ever (occasionally assisted by Abdul hiding in the background). Stella always singing keeping everything clean and tidy, Merini, Marietta, Georgia, Maria and Angie welcoming us at every meal making us feel very special, and of course Giorgios who seemed to be everywhere all day and night! The pool bar with the amazing Sakis remembering everyones names and drinks with a great sense of humour thrown in. Of course the lovely Angela who ran the snack bar all day.To keep us all safe we had the great Pawel the lifeguard a great addition to the team!
The new a la carte restaurant was a great addition, food was good especially the starters and so nice to be waited on thanks to the team, especially Fasilis who was a very calm presence even when all around was so busy at times. The lobby bar by day manned by Spiros another calm head making it all look so easy. Of course in the evenings, what a team, Mika and George, how they remain so cool even in the busiest of times is impressive (we should say sorry to them for being so greedy!). Nefeli, Panagiota and Daniel from the Spa, enjoyed our chats so much and the smiling faces. We have to mention the housekeeping team who keep everything so spotless and yet seem so invisible keeping very much out of sight!
Every member of your staff are hardworking, friendly, genuine and go above and beyond to make the whole experience special.
Thank you all so much and we look forward to hopefully seeing you all again next year!
Wonderful stay at Leonardo Kolymbia Resort
This was our first time staying at this hotel, and we give it our highest recommendation from the bottom of our hearts. From the moment we arrived, we felt exceptionally well cared for. A huge bonus is that the staff knows a few words of Polish, which makes daily communication much easier and makes you feel right at home. We would like to give a special mention to Mr. Paweł, the lifeguard, who is also from Poland. Paweł is an extraordinarily helpful and versatile person who speaks five languages! Since my husband and I recently started learning how to swim, his expert tips were invaluable and gave us so much confidence in the water. Moreover, thanks to him, we learned how to get around, where to go, and how best to explore the island—his recommendations were completely spot-on. We also cannot forget Rio, the animator with an endless supply of energy. Rio is brilliant at what he does, and the fact that he speaks Polish was a fantastic and unexpected surprise. The entire reception team and all the other hotel staff also deserve immense praise for their warm hospitality, helpfulness, and constant smiles. The food? Absolutely sensational! It is so delicious that I am returning home with a few extra pounds, which is probably the highest compliment the kitchen could receive. Our room was impeccably clean and serviced every day. We chose a room with direct access to a private pool and sun loungers—we highly recommend it to anyone looking for extra comfort and privacy. Another great advantage is the free hotel parking, where we had no trouble parking our rental car. Leonardo Kolymbia Resort is a place we will gladly return to. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
Amazing hotel!
We were staying in the hotel during the amber warning storm in October. We woke to ankle deep water in our room. The staff went above and beyond to ensure there was minimum disruption. They arranged an overnighted get stay in the another hotel and moved us back the next day. Despite the flooding in our room, when we returned there was no trace of any water the room was pristine. Throughout the staff were helpful. Polite and despite the situation being unprecedented they handled it with professionalism. Everyone, including the manageress was brilliant. The staff stayed back to help the hotel guests despite obvious worries about their own families and concerns if they would get home. I can not recommend the hotel and staff enough, everyone is so kind and helpful from the restaurant, reception, bar and cleaning staff. Location is very convenient, close to the beach and bus stop for Lindos, Rhodes and Seven Springs only a 5 min walk. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. They may be rated as 4 star plus but it is run as a 5star. Would not stay anywhere else

A first class holiday
We had a marvellous time on our holiday at Leonardo Kolymbia. The staff were fantastic, always smiling and always very helpful, they certainly made the holiday. We say that it is the staff that make the hotel and in this case the hotel was great. The biggest compliment we can give is that we will return for another holiday next year for the fourth time.
Great Hotel
We arrived late, but from the moment we checked in, the staff were brilliant all round. The bar staff were superb — so friendly and welcoming. The cleaners, waiters and the rest of the team all worked incredibly hard and always greeted you with a smile. Honestly, the staff really made this place special.
The whole hotel was very clean, the pool was lovely, and having the beach so close by was a real bonus. My only little niggle was the beach sunbeds. It seemed that some people who weren't staying at the hotel were using them, meaning hotel guests sometimes couldn't get a bed. In my opinion, this could do with a bit more monitoring, but that was just a minor downside.
The drinks were very good, with some lovely cocktails! The all-inclusive food was good too. As with most all-inclusive hotels, after a few days it can become a little repetitive, although the themed nights helped add some variety. The entertainment was very good too and added to the holiday atmosphere, giving us even more to enjoy during our stay. There were also some really good bars and restaurants around the hotel, all at reasonable prices, so there were plenty of options if you fancied a change from the hotel food. There was plenty to do in the area, and getting around was easy. Buses made trips to Rhodes Town and Lindos straightforward, and there were boat trips available from the harbour too. Overall, despite a couple of little niggles, we had a fantastic holiday. The friendly staff, cleanliness, lovely pool, good drinks, entertainment and great location all helped make it a really enjoyable stay.
Would we go back? Definitely! In fact, I'd happily return next year. That says it all really! Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable. Keep up the great work!
