My daughter and I have just returned from such a wonderful relaxing week here. We stayed in a beautiful swim up pool room , room 124. My only gripe with the room is that the sunbeds allocated to the rooms by the swim up pool could do with parasols as in direct sunlight all day. The cleaning services were amazing, particularly Zoe who came around in the evenings to check if we needed more towels and gave us chocolates. The big pool was really clean,no hustling for sunbeds. The animation team were fun and lively. The pool bar man was always so friendly . Always hotel sunbeds available on the beach too!! The food in the main restaurant was amazing, something for everyone! Drinks at the main bar were really good, shout out to Mika who makes amazing cocktails. Special shout out to the reception staff, so lovely and friendly. Thank you for our treat of greek goodies on departure! Only disappointment was that we couldn't have a late checkout, but understandable. We will definitely return , and have signed up to the rewards scheme. Thank you for a beautiful holiday xx
My wife and I booked a last-minute short 2-night stay in this fabulous little all-inclusive resort and we’re glad we did. Incredibly responsive and helpful staff and generally friendly, civilised guests - both essential to any good holiday experience. The food and drinks were excellent. The room we had was recently refurbished to a high standard and my only complaint is that the toilet is far too close to the shower window (no more information needed on the issue that caused). The hotel itself is very clean and the central pool area was well catered for with ample sun beds and shaded grass areas, and a drinks bar and snacks bar nearby. The night entertainment was fun and enjoyable, especially the amazing South African trio ‘3rd Harmony’. 30 mins to the airport, 20 mins to popular Lindos and 25 mins to the historic Old Town make this a convenient location with a relaxing getaway feel. The beach is close by. It can feel a little too busy and there aren’t enough sun beds so be prepared to take over those that have had towels placed on them and abandoned, or lay your towel on the sand/stones. Thanks for having us. If we return to Rhodes we’ll definitely consider staying here again.
This is our third visit in successuve years and the standards are every bit as high as before. A lovely warm welcome when we arrived at 11pm. It was after the buffet had closed and this is the only slight negative, something more than a sandwich would be welcome. Otherwise the food was its usual high standard.
The team in the restaurant are just as fantastic. Eleni still makes the best omlettes! Merini, Georgia, Stella, Marietta, Mika and Maria are all lovely people as well as doing a super job.
Sakis and Angela are still legends of the pool bar.
George, Spyros and Robert and also Mika and Maria in the main bar still make delicious cocktails and are great fun.
Nefeli and Panagiota are two of the most beautiful souls we have ever met.
And there were improvements on last year, which I suppose is the sign of a hotel that really cares. The rooms had a make over and looked fresh and new. An a la carte restaurant which alternated between Italian and steak opened during our stay. It was open air and the weather wasn't great so we only ate there once on an Italian night. Food plentiful and delicious.
The biggest improvement was the animation team. Still led by Alan, new arrivals Mar and Karlie have such great energy and are great fun.
Just returned from our 3rd visit at the beautiful Leonardo Kolymbia. The staff here are the most friendless people you could ever meet and go out of their way to make your holiday perfect. We will definitely be returning.
We arrived early hours of the morning to the hotel, due to delays travelling and were surprised to find our room decorated for our anniversary. Also Bottle of wine, fruit and sandwiches left, which was a lovely touch after a long day. We were told during our check in that our room was upgraded to a pool view room. Which was lovely decorated and everything we needed. A big thank you to the staff on reception for the upgrade, has we were also lucky enough last year to be upgraded to one of the rooms in the new block.
The entertainment staff Alan, Mat and Karlie work so hard to get guests involved in all activities. The night time entertainment we went to we throughly enjoyed. Mat and Karlie stole our hearts, with the best smiles and were lovely welcoming.
I cannot fault the food. I always found something I liked. The pool snack bar has improved this year with a lot more selection of hot and cold snacks. Also the hotel now has a a al carte restaurant which we used twice. The food was lovely and a lot of it. The setting is beautiful and relaxing, just next to the pool.
A special mention to sakis, George and Mika at the bar who are very talented at making and remembering everyone’s drinks. They are the friendless people and always find time to chat to you.
The maids do a fantastic job of keeping the rooms and hotel clean. The hotel is spotless.
Visited the spa last year for a facial which was so relaxing and defo worth a visit and is situated in the new block.
Once again thank you to every member of staff for making our stay with you a special one. We love Kolymbia and the surrounding area and this hotel is in the perfect location to everything. 3 beaches close by and close to resort to visit bars or restaurants.
Just two suggestions for me would be to have cold meat at lunch time to have with the lovely salads. Also to provide parasols on the balcony of the ground floor pool view rooms to provide shelter from the sun.
We have just got back from a 5 night break. The staff were amazing! So friendly, helpful and always had a smile. As we checked in we were greeted with a glass of champagne. We were then shown to our room and it was just how it looked in the catalog and more. We dumped our bags and went for a walk around the hotel and was greeted by every member of staff we passed. Are room was over looking the pool. We called at the pool bar and met Sakis who was great. He is about the only barman who can remember and serve 5-6 people at a time, and always had a chat with everyone at the same time. The pool was great, it had a lifeguard every day all the time the pool was open. The whole hotel and gardens were immaculate. You get to have an Italian night and a steak night, you must do both! Amazing food in both nights (and no it’s not the same food as the dining room). Transport to Rhodes town was easy and reception had a time table which was great. The restaurant was spotless, fresh food being cooked throughout the evening. There was something for everyone and plenty of it. Entertainment staff were brilliant and always encouraged everyone to take part in all activities. George and Mika were great in the bar every night they remembered what you were drinking. I always read the reviews and think really! But I must say I recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. We are looking at going back next spring when it’s not as hot. Are coldest day was 29 degrees with lights winds hottest being 35 degrees and no wind. They had bird nests with babies which were beautiful. There is a small beach/harbour with is beautiful and you can hire boats or go on boat trips.
