The Kolymbia Bay Art Hotel was totally renovated in 2021 and 2023 oriented to become the Boutique Hotel of Kolymbia. The current result is a combination of modern materials, decoration and art. Ideally located within walking distance from the centre of Kolymbia, our Hotel is perfect to step out and explore the area and visit a variety of popular restaurants, shops and local attractions.
Famous as the best Resort of the island, Kolymbia is exactly between Rhodes city and Lindos (25km from each). The best beaches of the Island (Afandou, Kolymbia and Tsambika) are just a few minutes’ drive.
Our place is a small size 4 star Bed and Breakfast Hotel. Our path of hospitality is oriented on personalized service and top-quality meals in contrast with massive All Inclusive resorts. Additionally, our “Adults – only” philosophy translates into pure romance from the moment you arrive!

Awful place
Don’t book you will not be happy.
The hotel is located quite some way from all the local restaurants. It is currently overlooked by a full on construction site, which is full on noise 6 days a week. During our stay they were carrying out arc welding in full view of everyone, a serious breach of Health and safety and can cause arc eye. The sun beds are filthy, the ones on the private terraces and around the pool area. The furniture in our room was broken and very old, the towel rail fell off the wall and it took 3 days for it to be put back. The website states 20 minutes transfer from the airport, in reality this is one hour.
Constant smell of sewage from the drains which we could smell in the restaurant.
The approach to the hotel is awful it looks like a back street in the Bronx.
The list is endless and EasyJet were far from helpful with our situation. We actually tried to come home early it was that bad.
I hope this review helps others to dodge a bullet! Trust me you will be thanking me

Hotel clean, staff brilliant, can't help enough, food lovely, pool area ok, pool bar staff very friendly, disappointed that building works right opposite, nearby beach is shingle, sea clear but let down by grafitti and building sites, area will be lovely in a few years, would recommend as long as mindful about ongoing building works.

We had an amazing time. The staff are absolutely fantastic. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever had - with a great selection of buffet choices as well as 2 different "specials" every day. We were a little worried about the fact of the new hotel being built opposite but despite looking out on to it, we could still see the sea and there was never any noise. One extra bonus was being able to visit their Sister Hotel, The Landmark - which is pretty spectacular. We had dinner at Kolymbia Bay a couple of times and, again, this was really good. The hotel is in a good location - with a bus stop just outside and a 5 minute walk to a pebble beach. Would definitely return.

lovely hotel
The staff at this hotel are what make it. Nothing too much and always friendly. The food is also very good with plenty of choice at breakfast and good value in the cocktail bar. The hotel is a little tired in places and parts could do with a makeover but on the whole if you're not expecting marble foyer and grand staircases, but wanting clean rooms this is a lovely place to stay.There is building work opposite but all the time we were there (middle of August) we didn't hear any noise.

Not what you expect
Where do I start. Got "upgraded" on arrival to the "luxurious" swim up room (603). The entrance was a basement-like alley, where trash bins and cleaning trolleys were stored. The room was dark, AC not working, one of the beds broken, old furnishing and as a cherry on top, bathroom FULL of ants. The pool was dirty too, also it is below a road, so anyone who walks/drives by looks into your "private" pool, as well as construction workers these days. First night, the room was 38 degrees, my partner had to sleep on a sofa due to the bed problem. Next morning we asked for another room - had to pack, leave our luggage at reception and got another room in the afternoon. No refund for a terrible first night and not having room for half of another day (which was paid for!). Got a drink voucher only.
At check out be prepared to be asked to pay unsure amount of money as "tax and fee", firstly we were told it is 5€/day, then another receptionist came to tell us it is 10€/day. That was not mentioned anywhere in the reservation.
Staff was amazing though, receptionists, breakfast staff, bartender. Great people.
