This hotel is located in Kiotari, only some 800 m from the beach and approximately 15 km from Lindos and its famous Acropolis.
The hotel is situated on a small hill, offering excellent views out over the sea and the pine forest. It comprises a total of 214 double and superior rooms, in addition to a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, and lift access. Culinary options include the wonderful Main Sunset restaurant, where guests will enjoy a wide range of delicious dishes. It is also possible to make use of the Diogenis Beach snack restaurant. Further facilities available include a currency exchange facility, both car and motorcycle hire, a supermarket, a kids club where younger guests may let off steam, a laundry service (charges apply), and parking for those arriving by car.
All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer, centrally regulated air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, in-house music channels, a small fridge, a room safe, and either a balcony or terrace. The standard double rooms are fitted with two single beds (which can be connected), and can be supplied on request with an extra bed. Superior rooms feature a double bed in addition to a single bed, which can also be used as a sofa.
Leisure facilities at the hotel include a large pool area with separate children's pool, the Sunrise poolside snack bar, and free sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also take advantage of the wide-ranging sports offerings (some for additional charges), including the spa centre, the fully equipped gym, and facilities for playing tennis, table tennis, darts, basketball, and volleyball. Water sports options include banana boating, ring boat riding, water skiing, water polo, canoeing, and pedal boating.

Lovely Family Holiday
We had a wonderful time at The Princess Sun Hotel and Spa. We took out 2 year old daughter for 10 nights and it was a great family holiday. On arrival, my daughter received a bag with a Greece themed colouring book and crayons which kept her entertained whilst sat in the bar of an evening. We arrived very late and were kindly offered some food and given some bottled of water as at the time all the restaurants and bars were closed. When we arrived, the travel cot for my daughter was already set up and they had even put a little teddy in there for her, so we could go straight to sleep. The facilities at the hotel are brilliant There are 3 pools, 1 for kids that's shallow and has slides (though the children do have to be 120cm to go on the slides so my daughter was too small) and the other two deeper, one with steps down into the pool. The poolside facilities are fantastic with a bar which serves drinks including cocktails and slushies as well as a snack bar which always had freshly made pizza and usually chips, burgers etc. The room was lovely and was cleaned daily. We were particularly impressed with her shuttle bus facility to the beach which ran every half an hour or so, taking you from the front of the hotel directly to the beach (it is a pebbly beach so would recommend swim shoes). The bar at the beach was also part of the all inclusive so you can get drink at the beach without having to take your own or buy them. The food was good, each night there was a theme such as Italian or Greek and there was a good variety of food. Myself and my daughter are vegetarian and there was always a few good options other than the usual chips and pasta that we could enjoy. There was a salad bar and fresh fruit served at each meal too. The only thing I would say about the food is that it wasn't clearly labelled with allergens and sometimes I had to Google things to work out if it was veggie or not as they weren't foods I was familiar with. There was a lot in terms of entertainment, I especially enjoyed the aqua aerobics in the pool each morning. The kids playground was good and open all day so we often took my daughter there of an evening when it was cooler. We didn't see much of the evening entertainment but the mini disco we went to way great at there was some singers at the pool bar of an evening a few times that we watched from the balcony. There is a little shop on the hotel site which is open most of the day that sells souvenirs as well as toiletries, suncream, snacks and drinks that aren't available in the all inclusive (lays, caprice) and there is also a row of shops at the bottom of the hill including a pharmacy and some souvenir shops. Venturing out was very easy, there is a bus at the bottom of the hill that takes you the whole way along the east coast of the island, it was about half an hour on the bus to Lindos and about an hour and a half on the bus the Rhodes Old Town.
Overall it was a lovely holiday and we would love to come back again!
Fantastic hotel and experience - can't fault it
Grandparents taking our granddaughter abroad for her first time. We were very apprehensive but the whole experience was faultless. I cannot praise this hotel enough. My granddaughter had the time of her life. Though it has been many years since we have been away in the school holidays and usually to an adults only hotel we couldn't have chosen anything better. The hotel was spotless the staff were fantastic, the food was some of the best we've had on any European holiday. It seemed they concentrated on quality rather than quantity. Though the poolside was busy there was plenty of sunbeds and it wasn't overly noisy just adults and children having fun. Plenty of tables in the restaurant and the service there is spot on. We didn't get the chance to get the shuttle bus down to the sister hotel beach and snack bar or kiotari itself *- our granddaughter was having too much fun where she was. Only drawback is the long (2hr) transfer time. It is worth it - so much so we have booked to go back next month when we intend to get the shuttle bus to sister hotel and look around kiotari also take a bus that picks you up from the hotel to Rhodes town.

A gorgeous family friendly hotel in rhodes
A superb hotel in rhodes that ticked nearly all our boxes!!let's be honest you will never find a hotel that ticks them all!!
Best bits - sandwiches on our late check in, pizza from the pool bar, peach slushies, no sun bed wars, lovely clean rooms, the cleaners did a superb job cleaning the rooms every day and should be highly commended, Dinner in restaurant was great, plenty of choice, staples for my kids were pancakes and Nutella for breakfast,pizza and chips from pool bar for lunch and spag bol for dinner but lots of other things to try. The beach bar and private beach was such a lovely extra, again great choice of food, would recommend the gyros and they did alcoholic slushies! The beach is shingle which is actually less mess than sand, it also goes quite deep very quickly so you need to be careful with kids who can't swim yet, but my two kids loved it, throw some small pieces of bread into the water and you should see the variety of fish under the water, make sure to pack some good snorkeling goggles it was a real treat, we saw a lionfish and a bluespotted cornetfish! cocktail game at noon at the pool was great fun!, also would recommend the ice facial from the spa!!
Only three negatives but they aren't stopping us coming back as we have booked for next July 2027 again!!
Gym - quite a few broken machines, only one working running machine, would be good to have 2/3 running machines and a working bike machine.
No bar at the entertainment theatre- you can get a drink from reception bar and bring it over in plastic glass but the theatre looks like it has space to maybe have a small bar at the back but that's maybe me being very lazy and picky!!
Hotel is high up on a steep hill, this didn't really affect us but it was hard work if you wanted to walk down to the small town but we did it numerous times throught the holiday and it hasn't put us off coming again but if you have mobility issues and want to leave the hotel you would probably need to get a taxi. The shuttle bus is great for beach and runs every 10mins, timetable says every 30mins but it much more regular than that and drivers are lovely.
Things to do - iced coffee from coffee island, the aquamarine challenge at the beach (20euro per person gets you a wrist band from 10am to 6pm, my kids loved it, mosa beach bar in kiatori for tapas and cocktails, nosh i kiatori for steak dinner, use the local bus to go to lindos, pefkos and Rhodes town, it was 3 euro to lindos one way and was 30mins, it had air con and called out each stop in English along the way, we went to village house for dinner, a rooftop restaurant in lindos that was superb food.
We also booked the sister hotel waterpark (Princess adrianna) it was very good value for money ( 160euro for 2 adults and 2 kids) you got access from 7am to midnight to the 5start hotel, use of the waterpark and the main restaurant and all the pool bars. Be careful there are height restrictions 1.2m for slides and they are very strict, my son is 1.19m and they would not let him on but we still had great fun in the pools and at the ice cream parlour whilst my older child and husband went on the slides.
There are lots of boat trips, we plan to do one to symi island next year and a trip to Rhodes town too, so much still to do!
The entertainment team at princess sun were also lovely,they work so hard! they put on shows and there were some private acts that came to hotel too, they had football, archery, French boules, yoga, water aerobics each day. One recommendation for the entertainment team from a previous holiday experience in turkey would be padel board games in the pool. One padel board that you have to stand on from corner of pool and make your way a quarter of the way across the pool and then try and either kick a goal with a football into the water polo net or dunk a basketball shot in a basket ball net, it was really good fun and always got kids ans adults joining in! But just a suggestion!! Some of the bar men were grumpy at pool bar and recption bar but it didn't really annoy us but we absolutely loved Manolis at beach bar he was so nice and did the best cocktails!!

Really great place to stay
Great hotel and lovely staff great shout-out to bar staff cleaners and restaurant staff me and my family highly recommend this hotel as we really enjoyed our stay thank you again princess sun 👍
