The spa at the hotel
I went to the spa with and got a full body massage, and my kids to. It was a very good massage and the staff was very kind. I had a therapist called Lena, she was very good and i feelt like a new person after the massage!
Don’t Be Fooled by the Photos
We had an overall fine holiday, but this hotel unfortunately does not live up to the expectations created by its photos and marketing. It’s not a bad hotel, but don’t expect it to be what it advertises.
The biggest disappointment was the food. For example, the hotel’s app shows beautiful pictures of sushi at the Asian Corner restaurant. In reality, the menu was exactly the same every day during our entire stay: a very small buffet with rice, some noodles, two watery salads that didn’t look very appetizing, beef and chicken in sauce, and frozen spring rolls. It looked nothing like the photos.
The FOS restaurant was another disappointment. The menu was very limited, and the dining room was so cold because of the air conditioning that I actually had to go back to our room and get a jacket—even though it was over 35°C outside. My husband also became sick after eating the fish there.
Breakfast and the Main Restaurant were decent. It’s a standard buffet with enough variety, but nothing special.
The drinks at the pool bars were probably the biggest letdown. The soft drinks had almost no carbonation, and the cocktails made with local spirits were very poor. After trying a few, we ended up drinking only water and iced tea for the rest of the holiday because those were the only drinks we actually liked.
The rooms are okay clean and comfortable, and what you would expect from a standard hotel room in a 3 star hotel - NOT 5.
The pool areas are nice, but the water is surprisingly cold. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel is full of young children and families. If you’re travelling with kids, that’s probably great, but couples looking for a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere should be aware of this.
The spa itself is nice and has a relaxing atmosphere, but unfortunately our experience with the staff was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we were met with an attitude that made us feel more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests.
We booked the Cretan Massage, but considering the price, we would not recommend it. The treatment was very average and didn’t feel worth the cost. We’ve had much better spa treatments elsewhere for significantly less money.
Overall, we still had a nice vacation, but mainly because we made the best of it. The hotel itself is okay, but it simply doesn’t match the image it presents online. If you book based on the photos and descriptions, you’ll likely be disappointed.
Excellent stay – highly recommended
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kresten Royal Euphoria Resort from 20–30 July 2026 and are happy to give it 5 stars. We stayed in a large two-room junior suite with our own private pool and a double bathroom. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped – everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The overall standard of the facilities was excellent, and we really enjoyed the different restaurants. A special thank you goes to Armando and Kostakis, who provided outstanding service every evening in the main restaurant. We highly recommend this resort and would love to return.
Best place to celebrate your birthday 🎁
My best friend and I went to the Kresten Royal Euphoria to celebrate my 60th birthday 🎂 We arrived late evening and was booked in by lovely man on reception, he arranged for us to be escorted to our GARDEN room . First impressions were excellent, massive reception, awesome chandelier and a very nice room with sliding doors out to the garden and very nice staff . This holiday was the best ever, staff so friendly and helpful , special thanks to the ladies in the main restaurant- STERGIA, ARBIRO and SARA who were always friendly, helpful and funny - all the staff were so very nice and looked after you. We also had a 90minute session with the lovely LENA, it was a perfect start to our holiday- thanks Lena it was an absolute pleasure . We never hired a car but the man who sat in reception was so very nice always spoke to us and had a laugh with us. For us the hotel, facilities, staff, food more than exceeded our expectations - it was perfect and we will be going back again … Thank you my holiday couldn’t have been any better xx

Spa well worth a massage!
I booked a 110min massage for my fiance, who came back after saying it was the best massage she's ever had (and she's a spa regular!). Lena was her therapist and she would highly recommend her! The team were extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process ahead of our trip.
