Sunny Days Hotel

Hotel staff a friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and rooms are modern. You are located just off the main strip with bars and restaurants close by. However it is a walk to get to the public part of the beach with sun beds. As it’s a pebble beach this is a must. The hotel itself if good and the pool bar has decent food and well stocked for drinks. Hotel is clean and well kept

This is a four star hotel, but it is laid out well and the decor has been done in very good taste. It's nice and quiet too. The rooms were ok, with small balconies and a good ensuite. Our double bed was two singles made up as singles and pushed together with a gap (5cm) in between. That made cuddling up impossible unless you wanted a limb to disappear down this gap. The staff were helpful in the capacity available to them, they tried as best they could and were friendly. The aircon unit broke down for 3 days (30'C heat) we were left with a dripping noisy unit. Towels were given to collect the dripping water, which was unsuitable and a trip hazard in the night. We had broken sleep for 3 nights! The breakfast was ok, English fry up style and continental with fruit cheeses and processed meats. This did not change at all during our 7 night stay, so for us that became a bit samey and boring. Cleanliness - our sheets were changed once, it really should have been twice! Floors swept every day, but not in the bathroom (???) - I lose a lot of hair that's how I knew 🫣. The pool was lovely, getting a lounger was rarely difficult, but they could have done with a few more comfy ones. Getting 4 together was sometimes hard. Poolside snacks were good and the staff here were amazing, friendly and helpful. All around the pool was very well set out, comfortable and relaxed. We spent some lovely afternoons there. The rest of the clientele were respectful, happy, friendly, we had no complaints about noise levels. There is a stoney beach over the road and plenty of shops and restaurants to go to. Our favourite was Romeo's - good value, great staff and such lovely food!
