Returned home after a wonderful 8 days. Hotel is stunning, foods one of the best all inclusive we’ve had (fussy eaters). We had a family room with a sea view, cleaned everyday. Amazing sunset views from the rooftop bar. The Pink Wave team (especially Kris & Luca) were fantastic with our 9 year old son. Throughout the day, they had various activities from football, volleyball, table tennis and darts. We highly recommend the hotel. It’s a great location, number of bars and restaurants within walking distance and 10 mins on the bus into Rhodes town.
Spent 10 days towards the end of June at the Olympic Palace, beautiful hotel and 10/10 all round, so much so we didn't feel the need to leave the hotel apart from a day out in Rhodes old town and a boat trip booked with the Tui team in the hotel. I'd like to say a special thanks to Paulina at the lounge bar who made our stay extra special. Tips, study the eatery options on AI, so many to choose from and we never got round them all in our 10 days. 50 euro return in a taxi from the airport. The walk to Rhodes Town in 30 degree heat isn't a stroll, lovely walk but time we got there we were walked out and cut our visit short, get the bus or taxi. Pay extra for sea view room, late afternoons on the balcony watching the sun go down is priceless. All in all everything at the hotel especially the staff were awesome.
We are currently staying at the Olympic Palace Hotel and convention centre. It's a wonderful hotel in a great location right on the Agean coastline. Easy walk across a road to a guests only section of beach
Tip - Definitely bring beach water shoes as the beach is all pebbles, no sand. Flip flops won't cut it as you need the shoes on in the sea also for stability on the pebbles. The waves and water are quite rough at times (windsurfing on this stretch of the sea there also), and we saw many people falling who didn't have water shoes on.
The hotel complex is superb for the area, with quality bars and restsurants to choose from (if all inclusive- recommended) You can book some of your evening meals in there a la carte restaurants if you stay a minimum 7 nights. We, unfortunately are only here for 5 nights so don't get this option, which is a shame as is it would have been really good to try a few out, maybe next time... With regards to the swimming pools, there are 3 to choose from, all very close together. They are maintained really well, water is always clean, and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone (July 2026) The pools are only open 10 am to 6 pm which is quite short really, as we often prefer a swim and relax around the pool in the evening also, and prefer hotel pools to be open later. But that's just our opinion. Other people are probably happy with opening times of the pools.
It's not a deal breaker for us, but something to be aware of. The quality of the hotel and our stay is wonderful, and we will definitely return after this trip.
The sunsets on the west side of the island where the Olympic Palace hotel is located are absolutely stunning.
Fantastic soa day done the couples massage package money well spent amazing facilities and staff.. spa therapist was so kind and caring 🙌🥰🩷
Nice enough hotel but seems ridiculous to pay for half board but water isn’t included in the evening meal. Every other hotel that I’ve been to seems to offer complimentary water as standard with half board. When we asked the waiter initially he said that we could have free water but then brought the bill of 9 euros for 2 bottles. Very unreasonable.
