We travelled as a family of seven, all adults aged between 18 and 63, and stayed at the Atlantica Princess Hotel in Ialyssos. From the moment we arrived, we found the hotel very welcoming and accommodating.
Our rooms were generously sized, spotlessly clean and had a lovely view across the Aegean Sea towards Turkey. All of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Two members of staff deserve a special mention. Oyla, who looked after our table each evening, had all the qualities you could wish for. She was warm, friendly and had a fantastic personality that really made us feel welcome. Christina, one of the barmaids, was equally lovely and always friendly and accommodating.
The food was very enjoyable, with a good variety of choices and different themed evenings. Gluten-free options could also be catered for, although these needed to be requested a day in advance.
We made good use of the well-equipped gym and also enjoyed a great range of spa treatments. The hotel shop was well stocked too, with a wide selection covering most holiday essentials.
There was plenty to do both at the hotel and further afield. We explored Rhodes Old Town, enjoyed a day trip to Turkey, and spent a day scuba diving. In between our excursions, we made the most of the pool and beach. There was plenty of fun to be had on the water, including being towed behind a speedboat on a huge inflatable ring. Banana boats, paragliding and jet-ski hire were also available.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending the Atlantica Princess Hotel to others. The friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good food and wide range of activities made it a memorable family break.
We've just returned from another fabulous 10 day holiday after going for the first time last year. It was lovely to be recognised by the staff again. This year I had a massage from Katerina. So relaxing, well worth it. As we come late August the sunbeds are fine. We're not bothered about being at the front so we got the same beds everyday about 10 past 8 then went straight in the pool! Food is amazing and plenty of choice. We ate at the Al a carte once. The mains were amazing but weren't to fussed on the starters but that's all on us. The entertainment was good again. My son took part in the karaoke singing chicken banana! Loved the bingo and the music quiz especially. My son joined in the mini disco but only 2 songs that he likes. We take our own insulated cups to fill with water, ice tea for my son, throughout the day. I crocheted my own coasters this year as soak up better than the paper ones but that's just me. Definitely caused some amusement. Big shout to Nico, Dimitrius and Natasha on the bar (forgot the other guys name!). Highly recommend and just booked again for next year!
We have just returned home after a weekβs stay in high season. Really had a lovely time. Food has been great mostly, plenty of choice, lovely salads, fresh pizza, pasta, they have theme nights such as Greek night, Italian night etc. Drinks were okay, standard all inclusive drinks, white wine was nice. Room was lovely, we had a sea view and it was spacious with a double bed and a single bed, lots of storage, bathroom was a nice size and it was spotless, cleaned most days with change of towels, good air con and mini fridge with coffee/tea making facilities, view from room was amazing . There was no subbed wars, I have seen other reviews to say it has that and it worried me a little, but 100% there were sun beds still available at 10am, the ones directly at the edge of the pool do get reserved at 8am but if youβre not bothered about being at the edge of the pool then there is no rush; and you can not reserve beds before 8am. Entertainment was good too, although the mini disco drags on late until 9.30 we would have loved the entertainment to start earlier. The staff work very hard, and the hotel is clean. Beach is a stone throw away and its pebble beach so take sea shoes; but itβs lovely. I would recommend this hotel and have really enjoyed our stay. π
I had an absolutely wonderful relaxing massage with Katerina at the Atlantica Princess Hotel in Rhodes. She was incredibly professional, attentive and warm, and the whole experience was truly relaxing from beginning to end. The massage was exactly what I needed β gentle, soothing and perfectly performed. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Katerina has a real talent for what she does, and I would highly recommend her to anyone staying at the hotel. Thank you, Katerina, for such a lovely experience! β€οΈ
