Bring Earplugs – You’ll Need Them!
If you’re considering staying at this hotel, my advice is simple: BRING EARPLUGS!
We stayed in October on the first floor in a sea-view room, and unfortunately, the noise was a huge letdown throughout our stay.
On our very first night, there was a beach party with music blaring until 1:30am, meaning the kids couldn’t sleep. Planes regularly fly directly overhead, the toilet makes a noise roughly every 10 minutes, and the soundproofing is practically non-existent. You can hear every single footstep in the corridor and conversations as if people are standing inside your room. When flights arrive during the night, you can hear a whole busload of passengers dragging their suitcases along the corridor. Add to that the constant banging of doors and arguing guests throughout the week, and a peaceful night's sleep becomes almost impossible.
The food is good, but very repetitive. You won’t go hungry, but don't expect much variety during your stay.
The all-inclusive drinks offering was another major disappointment. Beer, vodka, gin and rum are available, but if you want anything beyond that, you have to pay extra. So many guests were buying their own drinks from the local shop and using the hotel’s all-inclusive drinks simply as mixers. Surely that says it all! This is not the level of choice I would expect when paying for a four-star all-inclusive holiday.
The one real highlight of this hotel is the animation team. They work hard, bring the energy and genuinely help make the holiday more enjoyable. Well done to you all – you deserve recognition for the effort you put in!
Unfortunately, a great animation team cannot make up for poor soundproofing, disrupted sleep and a disappointing all-inclusive drinks selection.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t return. If a good night's sleep and a proper all-inclusive experience are important to you, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere.

We have just been at this hotel for the past week and I would 100% recommend this hotel. It is a 4* hotel and I would say it was a 4* hotel.
We stayed in the main hotel which we were very happy about as the Annex rooms are on the other side of the water park. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The cleaners were polite and great at their jobs. The room always looked nice and clean when we returned to our rooms. You also get a pool/beach towel which you change every 2 days which was great so we didn’t have to bring our own.
Location was great. We were the first to be dropped off from the airport and last to be picked up which was perfect. Rhodes is only 20 mins down the road. Transfers from the hotel are a really good way to keep costs down as it’s about €35 for 4 people by taxi, one way.
The beach is beautiful but stony so make sure you bring beach shoes, they do sell them in the shop outside the hotel. The pools are nice and clean. But they are not heated. The sun-beds look like they need updating/ replacing but they are really comfortable.
The food was great. So many choices of what you want to eat. Always tastes great, replenished all the time so nothing was empty. The kitchen/restaurant staff were amazing! The themed restaurant we chose was the Italian restaurant. It was lovely and had a lot of food. We were stuffed afterwards. You have to pay for all drinks at these restaurants though which I thought was a bit cheeky but it wasn’t expensive anyway. The drinks from the bars are nice but the alcohol is very weak. There is a shop inside the hotel but also a shop outside the hotel which is very good. You definitely need to have breakfast at The Thalassa restaurant. It is beautiful to have breakfast by the sea.
Evening entertainment that we saw was talented but the signage/information was limited. Was unsure about what time it started and where it was.
Overall, a great holiday and we would definitely stay here again. All staff were always friendly, helpful and you can tell they all work hard to make sure you have a great holiday.

Family get away to Rhodes
We spent a week at blue bay beach resort and had the most amazing time, the hotel is clean and tidy with lots to do for all age groups, the staff are all so friendly and helpful, there's plenty of pools and the hotel is situated literally on the beach, they have day time activities and would definitely recommend booking a massage. There's plenty to do outside of the hotel too, we took a trip to the old town, went on a boat trip with the main stop being Anthony quin bay for swimming and snorkeling and had lots of other trips exploring the area. Would highly recommend Rhodes as a holiday destination and blue bay beach resort, will be looking to book again in the future.

Needs some TLC
We visited the Blue Bay Resort in Rhodes in September 26. The reception area is very modern and inviting, the staff were helpful and friendly whenever we approached the desk. The food hall was a typical all-inclusive affair, there was plenty of choice, and we always found something we could eat. The grounds outside and around the pool were okay, and the proximity to the beach was great. But, the resort in general felt like it needed sprucing up. Boards you walked on along the beach were broken, lots of the free beds on the beach and around the pools needed repairing. Toilets around the pool weren’t great. The room we had in the main hotel building felt very old. There was a big crack in the washbasin, and the room felt dated. We used the shower room on the last day because we had a late flight and it was awful. It was covered in black mould and smelt really bad. The free towels are changed every other day, which we’ve never had before. Drinks in the bars after 11pm have to be paid for even though you’re all-inclusive. Frappe and ice creams also have to be paid for no matter what time of day. There are 3 alacarte restaurants, but you don’t get 3 free visits, and you also have to pay for drinks while eating there. A few evenings we walked up the road to Billy’s Bar, where the waiters were friendly and the food and drinks reasonably priced. The location of the resort is very good, we visited Rhodes town and Lindos during our stay.
