- Atlantica Dreams Resort

The luxurious Atlantica Dreams Resort & Spa is beautifully located right on the beach, overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Ideal for couples and families alike, the resort aims to set a new agenda in the term 'modern luxury' by fueling the senses and making everybody feel cared for.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My partner and I have just returned from our holiday at Atlantica Dreams Resort with TUI Blue. We stayed from 29th August to 9th September 2026.
We stayed in room 3001, which was a swim up room situated closely to the main reception and main entertainment pool. It was an amazing room which had all of facilities/amenities that you would ever need on a holiday. It included an iron with ironing board and a hair dryer. All of the little touches such as the toiletries and mini bar were of a good quality, however we have experienced better mini bars at other resorts. Our swim up pool was perfect and had sun all day long. We had emailed in advance to request this and they facilitated this for us. Although as other reviews have mentioned, the water with all of the pools at the resort are slightly cold this however didn’t affect us too much as we had the sun to counter this. We made the most of the swim up during the afternoons as we would alternate between the adults only pool and beach.
The sun bed situation was only ever an issue at the adult only pool. It seemed that a lot of people would reserve the same beds each day very early on which would leave minimal beds available around 9am. This was never an issue at the beach or the other pools. There were two swim up bars to which we didn’t use any of them. This was due to both being situated in the family/children pools. We believed that this didn’t really make much sense and could be re-thought about to include one in the adult only pool. The beach although it was pebbles was lovely. We would just recommend bringing some sea shoes. Also, the level of chlorine in the main pools is high. Be aware that this can turn white swimwear green, as it did to ours.
The service throughout our stay was of a good standard. All staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. However I did notice that there was a distinct lack of support for each staff member. This meant that service was slightly slower and the individual staff members were over worked. This could be an easy fix with addition staff in each role within the resort. For example in the restaurants especially at the adult only breakfast it would take a considerable amount of time to get coffee or tea or any drinks in general due to one person making and taking the orders. Certain staff members would express that they wouldn’t be able to take our drinks order because that wasn’t their role. We’ve never come across this at a resort as most would do all the roles and not just specific job of for example clearing plates. This did impact our overall experience as some times we wouldn’t get a drink until we had finished our food. However could be an easy fix.
The food and À la carte restaurants were amazing. The selection at the buffet restaurant was of a wide range of options catering for any preferences for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My partner is a slightly fussy eater but managed to fill her plate each meal and really enjoyed the quality of the food. We went to all of the À la carte restaurants during our stay. These were easily sorted using the Atlantica app but I would advise booking as soon as possible due to limited availability. I would rank the best two as Kuzina (Greek) and Gaia. With Liberty (American) being a close top spot. Kuzina offered a taste of Greek dishes with a meze starter and Greek themed mains with a selection of desserts to share. The overall experience of this restaurant was top notch. The staff, service and food were outstanding and made our last night special. The lamb was a particular highlight. Gaia offered a taste of good earthy foods and again delivered a great culinary experience. The beef was very delicious. Liberty offered a taste of American diner dishes. I would highly recommend coming hungry as the portions were enormous but very tasty with smashed burgers, ribs and loaded fries with a selection of sides including mac and cheese. We loved it here as the vibe was slightly low key. Caprice offers a taste of Italian cuisine, however this was our least favourite due to the limited dishes on the menu and only having Pizza as a more traditional Italian dish with others being more sea food based. This is not a reflection of the quality but a personal preference based on our experience. The snack/lunch options were plenty with a highlight of traditional gyros, Mexican snack truck and the buffet options. Overall we were very impressed with the food quality and choices offered. We didn’t have a bad meal and always remained satisfied with what was offered.
Entertainment at the resort was kind of a let down. Most evenings we would find that there was a distinct lack of shows or fun targeted at adults. Whilst there was entertainment for children and residential singers/DJs, this didn’t provide enough as most guests we spoke to had the same comment of “is this it?” The only two shows that we actually liked during our stay was from outside performs which included a tribute Jersey Boys group and Ben Langley the comedian. Apart from that there was no entertainment which actually made use of the amazing amphitheatre. I would suggest that this needs to be sorted for the future as this felt a bit of a let down during most evenings.
During our stay we decided to hire a car through Rodos, which is situated in the reception area. This was very easy to do on their website prior to speaking with the rep. It cost us roughly £60 to hire an automatic car for the day to make a trip into Rhodes Old Town and Lindos. This was considerably cheaper to do than go on a trip with TUI or the resort itself. So highly recommended.
Overall we had a fantastic stay at the resort and couldn’t fault things apart from the points that we have raised for improvement. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this for couples looking for a romantic getaway, as there is slightly more focus on families with young children. However we would like to express that we throughly enjoyed our time at the resort.
Great service by edelina would deffo come again

Good spa massage from Jim hotel is lovely staff are brilliant
Great for families
We just got back from a weeks stay at Atlantica dreams.
Book a private transfer if you have young kids as a coach journey from the airport can be 2hrs+, the hotel is a journey from the airport and private transfer took 1hr + itself.
Arrived late and was greeted with a welcome drink, reception was pleasant, checked us in and took our bags and us via buggy to our swim up room. The swim up room itself outside is beautiful, the room itself was big enough for us and the bathroom too, cleaning wise the maid came everyday and changed/made the beds, left fresh towels daily etc which was nice. The swim up room is lovely and was well used with our children would definitely recommend a swim up room.
We needed a bed guard for our toddler (4 euros a night hire) and a cot for our baby (also 4 euros a night)- the travel cot was NOT suitable for my baby and had holes in the lining, the travel cot base was also too small for the frame itself which wasn’t safe to me, this was annoying as I did ask for a cot to be included prior to our stay via the hotel and TUI. Take your own sheets for a baby cot as the hotel sheets do not fit the cot mattress and can be dangerous if came loose in the night etc.
Food wise the all inc buffet was good with a wide range of choice/varity of food including fresh fruits vegetables fish and meat.
breakfast was particularly good everyday with coffee and drinks bought to our table via the staff, the staff in the restaurant work very hard and are very well organised with their head sets and seating arrangements.
The bars are good and have a good selection of sprits and cocktails.
Lunch options are good, gyros is served at one of the outdoor restaurants and Mexican food outside one of the family pools (in the red truck) however one of the staff at the pool bar near the restaurant was disgustingly rude when I asked for a drink he told me to move back, as I was not in the pool just at the side, the bar man then came round to serve me which was fine however walking away he muttered something and then spat on the floor which was absolutely gross and shocking, i wish I could of taken his name to complain about this as it was bizarre behaviour. Nearly all of the staff were friendly however some came across blunt and tired (maybe because it’s nearing end of season).
Activity wise the splash pad and water park was brilliant, clean and a lot of fun, drinks can be had and ice creams etc at the sports bar, service was excellent there.
Above all else the hotel and TUI staff including the tots disco and shows at night were fantastic for a young family and we would recommend and return to this hotel as it is so good for young families.
