Wonderful Family Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful family holiday at Grecotel LuxMe Dama Dama in Rhodes. The atmosphere was amazing, the rooms were always clean, and everything was very well organized. The hotel is also perfectly equipped for families with babies and young children, which made our stay so comfortable and relaxing.
A special thank you to the young lady at reception from Athens. She welcomed us with so much kindness and professionalism. She told us she has been doing her apprenticeship for the past two years, and she is doing an outstanding job. Keep up the great work!
We would also like to thank the entire staff—from the reception team, housekeeping, the restaurant and kitchen teams, to everyone working at the hotel. Every single person was incredibly kind, friendly, and always smiling. You all made our holiday truly unforgettable.
Thank you for everything. We can’t wait to come back! 😊
Nice but could do better
Firstly there are a number of positives:
- staff at the lobby bar are the most friendly and efficient of all the staff and need special mention
- The cleaning team ensured bedrooms were spotless along with communal areas of the hotel
- The waiting staff and food in Rose, Asiana and Italian restaurant were excellent
- Waiting staff in the buffet restaurant were also good
- The bar staff in the beach bar were friendly and tried to be efficient but there just weren’t enough of them
- Likewise the waiting staff at the beach bar
However this hotel is let down by a number of things:
- buffet food is often dry, overcooked or not promptly replenished
- Not enough chefs doing live cooking, getting an omelette made to order near impossible despite them having an omelette station
- Staff at pool bar the most inefficient I have come across in some time, often chatting, huge queues and only one serving
- No way of getting waiter service to sunbeds in grassed areas and not enough space round the pool to sit there
- Some sunbeds were padded and comfy but only if you were up early,the rest were rickety, uncomfortable and you had to go and fetch them yourself
- The pool is great but so busy with massive inflatables that really hard to move at times which is a shame
- Reception were pleasant but again ineffective, asked for mattress topper as bed hugely uncomfortable told they didn’t have them, kept asking and after 3 days we got one
- Asked for more hangers twice, they never arrived
- Informed them none of the phones in our room worked at beginning of holiday, nothing fixed, no way of phoning down
- Lifts are old, broke down while we were there, call button for lift stopped working
- Bedrooms in need of refurbishing, they look tired
Overall this is a really pretty resort with a great pool but it needs more staff, refurbishing of rooms, more waiters by the pool, more freshly prepared food during dinner service. We had a nice time but for the money paid it felt overpriced

Kieran and Polly’s Rhodes Wedding Dream
We had the most amazing time celebrating the wedding of our son Kieran and daughter in law Polly at this fantastic hotel in June 2026. The hotel organised our transfer to the hotel from the airport which was first class. Arriving at reception along with the wedding party we were all treated like royalty throughout our weeks holiday. All members of staff in the hotel had been made aware of the wedding and were so excited and accommodating to our requests which catered perfectly for all guests ages, diets and abilities. Aged between 6-83. All 54 wedding guests were really pleased with their rooms, views and Hotel facilities. Even though we went in June the hotel team managed to maintain very high standards with table service, room cleanliness, and organising peak dining times to ensure it never felt busy. The wedding day itself was the most incredible day and surpassed all of our dreams of the perfect wedding in the most amazing setting. Christina, Andreas and the team had worked tirelessly throughout the lead up to the wedding and on the day to ensure that Polly and Kieran had the most incredible day. Thanking you all each and every one of the staff to make this event such a memorable occasion. We all felt so special on the day and very well looked after. The ceremony was heartfelt, personal, and full of love and joy with flowers and decorations which were so beautiful and romantic. The welcome drinks and canapés were of the highest quality and created a wonderful atmosphere for all the guests whilst photos were being taken. Table settings were incredible with flowers that wowed the guests and were a talking point long after the wedding. Drinks were aplenty and served to the table by friendly waiting staff and the fine dining food was of the highest quality. The cake, fireworks, and band gave us memories of this day that will last forever. We can’t thank the staff enough and look forward to returning to the Dama Dama Grecotel Rhodes soon. We will of course recommend Christina and the hotel extremely highly. Love to all Clair and Dayle Humphrey
Καταπληκτική!!!
We stayed for 8 days, with family and friends. The hotel knows how to serve its guests making us feel at ease and comfort. Amenities, à la carte restaurants, pools, beach all of high standard. Especially the personnel ( thank you Nektaria from the breakfast lounge) who are always kind and smiley. Christina thank you so much for being there all the time for us!
5 stars all round
Rooms spot on...clean and fresh...great veiw of the pool and sea. Couldn't fault the cleaners at all..only fault is the single bed in the family room is hard and uncomfortable and kids found it impossible to sleep on. Balcony cushions were used to pad out the mattress. Good choice of food in main restaurant and beach bar...staff were beyond 5 star and friendly loved them and the kids were extremely catered for..did turkey for the day and check in and out so easy
