a good honest hotel
an honest review of dama dama we arrived at hotel and was given a room in the main block inland facing. the room was on the third floor next to the main road,the view was a tree in front of balcony ,the room was very dated and still had coffee stains on table and to went back to reception to ask for another room we were told there was no other rooms vacant ,at this stage we where prepared to seek another hotel we asked to see a member of the management team,and Elisa came to see us,she went to see the room, and found us another room in the main block which was so much better..After such a bad start we did not know what to except,but we found the hotel staff excellent,too many to thank,but a must say all the staff in the lobby bar,all the staff in the .beach bar,best restaurant for us was the rose food and service great.We only went on beach, plenty of space and plenty of sun loungers.Went to rhodes town one night on the bus well worth the visit.To sum up our holiday after such a bad start we had a good time, would we come back ,not to this hotel ,but we are already looking for others in the group.I must make a special mention for one of your staff Elisa she was so good ,she made our holiday what a lovely lady.

Very disappointing 10-day stay – definitely not what we expected
We stayed at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama for 10 days on an all-inclusive basis, and unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our experience.
The food was one of the biggest disappointments. The quality was very poor and the food was generally not tasty. The fruit and many of the other products were of very low quality. For a resort of this category, we expected a much higher standard of food.
The cleanliness was also unacceptable. Our room was not properly cleaned during our stay. It often felt like the staff simply made the bed and did very little else. There was dust around the room, and the overall cleanliness was far below what we would expect from a hotel of this standard.
The hotel itself also felt old and poorly maintained. The rooms and facilities looked dated and tired, and the overall condition did not match the impression given by the hotel’s photos and advertising.
After spending 10 days here, we honestly felt that the quality and service did not justify the price we paid. This was not the relaxing all-inclusive holiday we expected, and unfortunately we would not return or recommend this resort based on our experience.
Restored my faith in all inclusives
After not doing all inclusive for 20 years, we decided to have 2 holidays this year that were. We went away in early July to corfu (a place that we love) and had a terrible experience. Poor quality food and drink and then picked up a bug that spread through the hotel. The one plus was that I gained no weight on that holiday.
Anyway, I am sitting at the pool bar at the Dama Dama writing my review whilst relaxing with an espresso martini. The bungalow rooms are great and plenty of storage. I didn’t do a dust check like a previous reviewer though as it wasn’t on my priority list ;)
We had a 7 Day holiday and 4 nights were spent in the different themed restaurants, which were all great and I would have paid to eat in them if they were not all free.
The alcohol standard is really good, with a choice of wines that we could even get by the bottle for our evening meal. This is not an all inclusive where the wine is served from a machine and is barely drinkable. The local zorbas beer is nice, but if you want you can get bottled beer too, such as Heineken, sol or even an Erdinger to name a few. Cocktails are good too and all free of charge.
The pool is great and there are plenty of sun beds. The sea is warmer than the pool though.
The staff here are amazing and although busy, work hard to build connections with the guests.
So, in summary, a great hotel, great food, great drink and a great team. We will be back and thank you for restoring my faith in an all inclusive Holiday.

A perfect place to stay!😎🌴
Me & my friend stayed here from 20-27th September 2026. The hotel looks aesthetically pleasing the moment you see if from outside, to the reception and especially the pool area, which looks amazing day / night, so make sure your camera roll has space to take lots of photos!
Room: We stayed in a bungalow next to the pool area which consisted of 2 bedrooms for us and was very spacious. Cleaners did a good job at keeping this fresh for us and restocking our mini bar daily. Our room was also equipped with coffee making and other washing amenities which was a nice touch.
Food/ drink: Breakfast/lunch/dinner had a large variation of things to choose from, salads, meats, pastas, all of which not only looked good, but tasted good, unlike other all inclusive places where the food ‘could’ look like slop. Lots of variation of drinks too. Most of their cocktails tasted really good too, especially the ones at the inside ‘lobby bar’. The ones at the ‘pool’ bar didn’t taste good at times, watery or ‘way’ too strong. We also used 3 out of our 4 included A La Carte Restaurant visits, Greek, Italian & Asian, all of which had a good high quality selection of 3 course dishes.
Entertainment: There’s nothing past midnight. During the day there’s usual activities such as darts, aqua aerobics, yoga, etc, and at night there may be the odd Karaoke at the beach bar (which looks nice/ good atmosphere), or we did bingo/ watched a performance at the stage area which was funny. On the beach connected to the hotel, there’s a variety of water sports activities, so alongside sitting there on sunbeds during the day, we did a banana boat snorkelling trip and a ‘flying sofa’. The hotel also offered us to go on a ‘night club’ trip where everyone went at the hotel at 00:00, but we were already tired from our day trip to Marmaris, plus went clubbing a few days prior already!
Parking is also good with lots of spaces. I mention this as we hired a car for a few days for €80 to go to Lindos & drive to the port which took us to Marmaris, which is a lot cheaper than getting a taxi all the time.
One improvement that could be made is finding more late night activities so the place isn’t silent from 23:00-00:00ish, as well as not charging for the mini cabana beds during the day by the pool, considering you pay quite a bit to stay here overall.
Staff are always friendly & willing to provide you the best service they can.
If you’re looking for a luxury place to stay, then this is for you.

Wonderful and memorable stay !
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was lovely, the atmosphere was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Anna from pool bar , who was so kind and made amazing cocktails! Her smile and excellent service made our days even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back! ❤️
