We have just spent 10 nights as Esperos Village Blue & Spa hotel & what an amazing week it has been. Our room was incredible, we got super lucky & had a hotel room only 2 minutes away from reception with the most amazing pool that was in the sun all day until about 4PM! We did the breakfast & dinner board, and I’m so glad we did - the buffet was so delicious, both breakfast & dinner options were amazing, we usually rarely get up for breakfast but we were up every morning to make sure we didn’t miss the breakfast! The food & drinks that come with additional cost (lunch, drinks, room service etc) was also incredible & such high quality/standard, the Hugo Spritz’s were the best we’ve had. The main pool area is stunning, and we found it super easy to get sun beds. Only a 20 minute drive from Rhodes Old Town too. The staff were all so friendly and their service was perfect! We also used the spa on our last day & got treatments which was such a relaxing end to our holiday. Overall, Esperos Village Blue & Hotel is incredible, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing & luxurious holiday. We will definitely be back.
I have been coming to Rhodes every year but this time I choose Esperos Village and i couldnt be happier with my decision. this place is truly piece of paradise. It is located on hillside, conveniently between Rhodos town and faliraki. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with warm smile and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, which was a lovely touch. We went straight to dinner, and every meal throughout our stay was absolutely delicious. Wherever you go in the hotel staff are friendly welcoming and always smiling. Our sea view room was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessy clean every day. We honestly couldnt find a single thing to complain about. We had a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.
Special thanks goes to all the staff, especialy Andrea from Guest services, who looked after us throughout our stay!
Very good massage of Stephanie ne vilma very Nice at the receptionist of the spa !
We came here on a ‘babymoon’ so were hoping for a relaxing, quiet week. We were here during peak season (first week of July).
At times the hotel felt overcrowded, especially by the pools. There was a day where all of the beds by both pools had been taken up by towels, with hardly anybody actually on them, by 10am! We feel there should be more staff available to monitor this during the mornings, as it’s not something expected at a 5* resort, and it’s awkward for guests to have to ask staff to help and face awkward situations with other guests. Some of the sunbeds felt quite close together, and unfortunately other guests could be quite loud and obnoxious. Not much the hotel can do about this though! I also really disliked that people could smoke anywhere outside, it was really quite unpleasant (especially being pregnant) to be around people smoking right next to us a lot. Dedicated smoking areas would be much appreciated by non-smokers. Service in the hotel was mostly excellent. The staff in the restaurants were exceptional, as were those at reception and the spa. Drinks were not cheap but we understand with many people on half board deals this is a big way for the hotel to make money. The food was good - lots of variety including vegetarian options. Being vegetarian and pregnant it would be useful for more labels on the food as to allergens etc. Staff in the pool bar area were working hard but seemed understaffed - sometimes long waits for food and drink and in the evenings during entertainment it would sometimes take a while to order drinks, which is ok if we can order at the bar but we weren’t allowed to. The area surrounding the hotel is ok but not a huge amount going on - was a 20min €30 taxi to the old town. Beach was ok, excellent service and good food. We had a country style room with private pool which was lovely - the private pool was very relaxing, had sun until 6pm everyday and was quiet. Overlooked by rooms above us but this didn’t bother us at all. Some of the decor could do with a bit of updating e.g. flickering light next to bed, a couple of plug sockets not working, bit of a repaint etc. The room was close to the main hotel area which I appreciated!! The main hotel area was beautiful - clean, lovely decor, nice toilets etc! Overall it was a lovely week but more 4* than 5*.
The hotel itself is stunning. The views are beautiful, the grounds are immaculate, and the food was consistently very good. Every member of staff we encountered around the hotel—from the restaurant and bar staff to housekeeping—was friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard. They are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception/front-of-house team was completely different. We found them dismissive and unhelpful whenever we asked for assistance. We booked one of the hotel's top-tier private pool rooms through EasyJet Holidays. In my opinion, once reception saw how we had booked, the way they dealt with us changed. I can't prove that, but it genuinely felt as though guests who booked through a tour operator were treated differently to those who booked direct. Our room itself was lovely, but the private pool lost the sun by mid-afternoon because it was shaded by the building above. We asked if we could move to another room with better sun exposure and were immediately told that we had to deal with EasyJet. EasyJet, however, told us that room moves had to be agreed by the hotel. We were left going backwards and forwards between the two, with neither taking ownership of the situation. We also asked to keep our room on for a few extra hours on departure day, as checkout was at 11:00 and our airport transfer wasn't until 18:00. Reception told us we couldn't book this in advance but could put our name on a waiting list, explaining it would cost €120 if available. We were perfectly happy to pay. The day before departure we returned as instructed, only to be told "no". There was no explanation, no discussion and no attempt to offer an alternative solution. It's such a shame because everything else about the hotel was excellent. The food, views and the staff outside reception made for a wonderful holiday. Sadly, the front-of-house team left us feeling like second-class guests despite paying for one of the hotel's premium room categories. If this was because we booked through EasyJet rather than directly, that's something the hotel should address. If it wasn't, then the reception team's customer service still fell well below the standard set by everyone else at the hotel.
