He is an exceptionally professional and attentive lifeguard who takes his responsibilities very seriously. At the same time, he is kind, friendly, and always willing to help. He treated both adults and children with genuine warmth, creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere around the pool.
His excellent customer service, positive attitude, and sincere care for the guests truly set him apart. Employees like Panagiotis are a great asset to any hotel and make a real difference in the overall guest experience.
We highly recommend Panagiotis and hope the hotel recognizes what an exceptional team member they have. Thank you, Panagiotis, for your dedication, professionalism, and kindness!
I visited this resort back in June with my family for a 1 week stay. (2 adults 1 kid).
Good: Resort is clean, the entertainment staff are great, the pool areas are well kept and the food is perfectly fine for a weeks stay. My partner and kid loved the sweet corner but I would like to see some better snacks, maybe something like a gyro/souvlaki bar that I have seen in cheaper hotels. The grounds of the resort are genuinely nice to look and it really gave me a sense of being on holiday.
Bad: The room itself. Rock hard beds, broken lights in bathroom (which was reported to maintenance, they came to the room, inspected it and never saw them again) The bathroom was incredibly dingy. I dont think I was able to be comfortable sleeping for the whole week.
The location of the resort is okay, they provide a shuttle bus to the beach which we only used once.
The atmosphere around the pool during the day is good. We had a 3 year old that wasnt that into joining in but in the evenings she loved the mini disco and the shows. The one downside is they had a crackling speaker and due to the volume they had the shows it just made it hard to listen too.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay but I dont think we will reconsider this resort for future holidays as there are plenty of other resorts around Greece that I feel we would get a better value for money and greater comfort. £2k for a week even with a free child place is maybe on the expensive side for what we got and the lack of quality sleep I had.
I just wanted to give a special shout out to the staff down at the pool bar who were constantly on their feet running around serving drinks all day, but there was one man who was always so polite and hard working. Kevin not only is he a fantastic worker but a great man who does everything to help his family which I admire. One of my favourite parts of my holiday was going to the pool bar in the morning to have tea and a chat with Kevin if he was free, it’s the little things that mean the most and Kevin done exactly that very polite, kind and hard working. He was one of the main reasons my holiday was very special for me and my family. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!!!!
Firstly, we actually visited the hotel june 2025, but because it's so long ago I can't go back further. I never got around to making a review back then, but now I was on Trip Advisor for another purpose and thought I wanted to make one.
Our stay at Cyprotel was generally excellent.
The personel was very polite and professionel. The room was very clean, and the cleaning personel did a great job.
The food was also excellent and tasted great, even though it wasn't very varied over the week. In the restaurant area I noticed great attention was paid to cleaning and making sure stains etc. was removed. If someone spilled it was taken care of immediatly. The view from the dining area is excellent.
The pools was very nice, and our kids enjoyed them a lot. The employees at the pool was very nice, and did a good job at trying to make us feel welcome, speaking both english and french. The only negative thing I can come to think of, is the lifeguard at the small round pool, looked like someone who didn't want to be there, and wasn't really paying attention a lot of the time. He was seemed preoccupied by talking to girls, who didn't seem to care much for it. I didn't speak with him, he was probably a nice guy, but observing while we was using that pool for several days, thats the expression I got.
The minimarket was also excellent, and the ladies managing it was very kind to us, and super helpful!
We made friends with a couple of other families at the hotel, which made the experience even better.
We got decent renovated room which was quite alright. The aircondition was super nice, the balcony for sitting with a cofee was also great. Small minus because our room was out to the main road were trucks with deliveries were made often and some smoke from them to out room was noticible. But not a big issue.
One of the other families though, got an older room, which could maybe be a negative thing for some. But I don't think it would have made the stay bad for us even with a room like theirs. (The other family didn't seem to care about it either)
Faliraki central is also very nice, with lots of stores, and it's within walking distance.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel. We could really feel almost all of the employees trying to make us feel welcome and give us a good stay.
We have had the most lovely time in Cyprotel Faliraki Rhodes. We are a family with 2 children aged 16 and 12. On the whole this is a really fantastic hotel! Staff work incredibly hard on all aspects of the complex making sure it is absolutely immaculately clean, welcoming and safe. I’m an early riser and was so impressed at what work goes on in the background to look after everyone. I enjoyed getting up early and having a quiet coffee in the restaurant. If you like stronger coffee choose espresso and click 3 times to fill a china cup or 4 times for take out cup. Beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. Restaurant does get busy around peak but we have found that there is rarely any queues and we always got a table. Rooms are pretty basic but very clean. I slept really soundly. Plenty of fluffy towels and good AC. Husband found bed a bit firm but coped well. Choices of food is excellent! I have thoroughly enjoyed delicious Greek salads, fresh fruit, and pastries. The freshly made pancakes are lush! But really there is something for everyone! Highlight for the kids are the donut balls (served daily 2-4). Scrumptious! Areas are immaculately clean. Staff never seem to stop! Hard work in the heat and they do it with a smile. There is a wide range of cocktails and mocktails! We liked a Micky Mouse and a Cinderall at the swim up bar!! If you like premium brands there is a shop on site or bars/supermarkets a short walk away. We spent an evening watching football in a bar 3 minutes away. Faliraki strip is close by but in the heat we occasionally got a cab (11euro) and hotel can arrange this. It has a lovely chill feel and I felt very safe. I normally notice if atmospheres feel off but it genuinely felt happy. If you are there on a Sunday visit Greek Orthodox Church St Nectarios. Service runs 7/730-1030. We went from 830-1030. People seemed to come and go which was lovely. It was deeply moving. I couldn’t understand the language but felt incredibly blessed, received communion blessing, anointing and holy water. Lit candles for loved ones. The building is stunningly beautiful. I took ill during the stay and reception kindly helped me get seen by a Doctor. We loved the pools and slides! Life guards are superb and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for. Special shout out to life guard Panos (I hope that’s right) who looked after my infected mosquito and spider bites. He is so professional, kind and gentle. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. A real credit to the hotel. An angel! Thank you so much. We loved the stretch class, water aerobics, games and karaoke! White party, Pink Party and game shows, all awesome! Entertainment staff genuinely love their jobs and that comes across in all they do. They are so energetic and enthusiastic! Ryad and Eva were both hits with our neurodivergent daughter. They both went the extra distance to make sure she got to fully participate in the entertainment and were so encouraging. The site is quite hilly but that helps work off the AI treats! I’m sure there an accessible rooms. We took the local bus into Old Town a number of times. It’s fantastic and well worth getting up and out to explore! Hotel reception was fantastic and helped us work out bus times and stops. Only 2.50 euro one way! It’s very easy and station is adjacent to harbour/Old Town and Sephora! Buses are air conditioned but bring a fan. Wear comfortable shoes found TikTok viral footie top store, Ice roll store and perfume store! Happy kids! Wear comfortable shoes! Get chatting with locals. They are all so friendly and welcoming. We arranged trips through EasyJet to Lindos/ Antony Quinn by boat explore/swim. 35 euro each. A real treat! Absolutely worth doing. Loads of different options and providers depending on what you want. Daughter and I had drinks in the bill whilst son and husband climbed to Acropolis! Bring water, sunscreen and sensible shoes! We used Get your Guide to do a Fishing Trip! Husband and son had a brilliant time and caught puffer fish, vampire fish and other weird and wonderful creatures! They finished the evening having a Greek salad with freshly caught barbecued fish! 64 euros each. Our daughter and I took the Get your guide coach 12 euros each to Farma Rhodes 15 euro child 20 euros adult. Pay for both separately. This was the most peaceful experience. Staff are adorable and the animals are so sweet. We enjoyed iced coffees and chicken nuggets in their cafe! Delicious! All in all this has been an amazing experience. We are so happy to have visited Rhodes! Thank you Cyprotel for being a perfect home from home! Relaxed, fun and friendly. Wish we could stay longer.
