The hotel is lovely but it is definitely not 5-stars hotel. Pros: very professional and accommodating staff. From Agelos at the front desk to Costas at the beach, everybody was super helpful and approachable. The cleaning lady, Valentyna, did an amazing job making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location of the hotel is also beautiful: on the side of the scenic beach next to the great restaurants and 10 minutes walk to St Anna and Scorpios. Cons: the room. The room was old with some renovations. It didn’t have coffee machine or smart TV (these facts alone put hotel outside of 5-star rating). One sink didn’t drain the water. The room didn’t have a full height mirror. Also, it would nice to have some shade on the balcony as it is not usable during the sun hours. Of course, umbrella is not possible due to the wind but there are other solutions available. Also, there was no shower on the beach. After the swim in a very salty water it would be nice to remove the salt from the body. You had to go up to the swimming pool area for the shower.
Great time in Mykonos. Only mild complaint is the coffee quality in room & having to pay for loungers on the beach in front row, otherwise perfect! Angelos, the concierge, was exceptional and made the trip very special for our honeymoon. His level of service was above and beyond…we’ll be back !
After walking the entire length of the beach a finding extortionate prices and staff with a superiority complex, I reached Thalassa Boutique. Regardless of the fact that they had (like the others) a minimum spend, the stuff were friendly and extremely helpful. I felt at ease being there all day in my own and the food and drinks were of excellent quality. Don’t stop before you reach this place, the others are just not worth it!
Nice hotel with nice beach and views. I would not say it is a 5 star hotel though for a few reasons.
They forgot about our transfers from the airport to the hotel when we booked them 3 weeks in advance. After forgetting, they told us to take a taxi, but the taxi line was too long so we requested for them to come and they did not offer to compensate for the inconvenience/time wasted. They stated the beach sun beds are included in the stay, but we were asked to leave the first row sun beds as apparently they cost an additional fee. (Not a big deal, but unpleasant when paying so much for a 5 start hotel). We ate our left over lunch from the hotel restaurant on the beach and were told “outside food is not allowed”, when we told the waiter it was from their restaurant he proceeded to answer with “I do not think so”. (Again, not the end of the world, but unpleasant at a 5 star hotel).
Beautiful place right next to the beach, service is good. Food very good, breakfast and beach beads included in the room rate. Very close to different restaurants, walking distance. You can sit at night on the balcony, very beautiful and quiet. Stuff is very helpful
