The hotel we had initially booked closed early, so we were offered the Elia Mykonos Resort instead. After our initial reservations for it being a little remote, we loved every minute we stayed here. The amenities, the staff.. everything was perfect.
The breakfast was delicious and plenty. We only ate dinner twice at the hotel and on both occasions, it was good, if a little expensive. The staff a delight.
Our room was big and quiet, the balcony large and perfect for relaxing evenings with a glass of wine.
Our special thanks goes to one of the receptionists (Evagela?) who went out of her way to help us. She always had a smile and we felt special. What a gift.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Elia Mykonos Resort. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant was delicious, and we loved the easy access to the beach. The water was still quite chilly, but very clear and we did manage to swim. The rooms are very clean, modern and all have easy access to the pool. We would love to go back to the Greek islands in the future, and we'll definitely consider staying here again.
We did not stay at the hotel. Mykonos was a cruise stop, and we were looking to use that day to go to the beach after walking around the Little Venice area of town.
I had contacted other establishments about reserving beach time, and only Elia Mykonos responded to my inquiry. I received a response within 24 hours of submitting my inquiry via their website contact form. The staff gave me clear information about prices and what was included. I was also able to arrange transportation to and from the hotel easily. Even when we had to change our pickup/departure times and locations, the staff was able to accommodate us and clearly communicated with us to make our day seamless.
The responsiveness and ease of working with their staff was wonderful.
While there, we enjoyed how attentive and helpful the beach staff was even though we were not guests in the hotel. (A young lady from Zambia—we can’t remember her name—was especially helpful and friendly to us the entire time we were there).
The beach was gorgeous, and the sun beds and umbrella were very good. So were the multiple coconut mojitos!
We would definitely do this again.
Elia Mykonos Resort exceeded all expectations. The location is stunning—just steps away from the beautiful Elia Beach—but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Every single team member was extremely friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect.
This is a boutique hotel situated right on the Elia beach. We stayed in a luxury one bedroom villa which was of a great size, tastefully decorated with a great shower and big terrace overlooking the sea, steps away from hotel’s private beach. For the room and the beach access with free sun beds, I would rate the hotel 5 stars. However, guest relations, room amenities along with housekeeping, breakfast variety and hotel’s restaurant need improvement to be called a 5 -stars hotel. Upon booking the room via hotel’s website, it was clearly mentioned that the room had a kitchen, which was not the case in reality. This is a downside if you don’t want to end up eating in hotel’s restaurant all day long, which is overpriced with mediocre food and is the only restaurant in proximity.
If you don’t have a car, you can get easily bored after few days spending in the hotel and the beach. as there is literally nothing around the hotel. The hotel compensated the misleading information about the kitchen by a complementary dinner for 2 days and a complimentary transfer to the airport which required discussions and additional confirmation. All in all, for paying around 900 Euro per night you have a way better options in Mykonos.
