Returned After 16 Years and Just as Good
Some places are special, and this is one of them.
After 16 years, we finally returned, wondering if it could possibly live up to the wonderful memories we’d made all those years ago. We needn’t have worried. The moment we walked through the doors, it honestly felt like coming home.
From the very first “Kalimera,” every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, kindness and constant smiles never faded throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt so well looked after from beginning to end.
It was lovely to see how the hotel has grown over the years. There have been some fantastic additions, but somehow it has managed to keep the same relaxed, friendly atmosphere that made us fall in love with it in the first place.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the incredible standard of cleanliness. Everywhere you looked was immaculate. The gardens were beautifully manicured, the pools were spotless, and the staff worked tirelessly from morning until night, constantly cleaning tables, tidying communal areas and making sure everything looked perfect. The food was every bit as good as we remembered—if not even better. There was so much choice every day, with plenty of variety, and everything was fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. The service around the pools and bars was exceptional. We never once found ourselves waiting long for a drink, and every order came with a smile. A special mention has to go to the “Happy Guy” on the beach, whose cheerful personality and fantastic service made our beach days even more enjoyable. Also Lara at the Sunset Bar so tentative and engaging.
And then there were the gyros! We still remembered how good they were 16 years ago, and we were so pleased to discover they’re every bit as delicious today. In fact, the whole beach snack bar has been transformed into a brilliant place to grab food and drinks throughout the day. It’s a huge improvement and one we made great use of! Our room was cleaned beautifully every day and kept spotless throughout our stay. It was always a pleasure to come back to after a relaxing day by the pool or beach. This hotel will always be our special place. Some holidays are lovely, but every now and then you find somewhere that stays with you forever. This is that place for us! Leaving was genuinely emotional. We weren’t ready to say goodbye, but one thing is certain—we’ll be back. Our next visit will be number three, and we already can’t wait. If you’re wondering whether to book, stop wondering. Just do it. You won’t be disappointed. We certainly weren’t, and after all these years, we’re so happy to say this wonderful hotel is every bit as magical as we remembered.
I liked training with my brother as he is the best in mitis ramira with than and we worked hard training, we could do mma training and lift heavy weights under safe control, we had an amazing time !!❕❕
Nice hotel with all-inclusive. The hotel was nice but could use some updating. The buffet was acceptable but not great. Staff and service were very nice.
Me and my partner booked here thinking 5 star hotel and it looked lovely on the website. It was a nice stay and close to Kos old town by taxi. However if you are looking for a hotel with daytime entertainment and nice all inclusive food this isn’t the place. The all inclusive food was the same pretty much everyday and not very nice. I know it’s an all inclusive buffet so not expecting amazing food however I have stayed in 4star hotels with much better food and atmosphere. Our towels in the room never got changed and the mini fridge is included but had to keep asking for this to be filled. Night time entertainment is 1 hour long and wasn’t great either. The food made my partner sick one for a whole day. The à la cartes are in the main restaurant where the buffet is. To me it looks like the Italian used to be served in the buffet but then made it its own ‘restaurant’.There was also a mosquito on my eclaire dessert one night. Our towels in the bedroom also didn’t get changed once. Be careful when walking around the hotel and pool and it’s very slippery and could hurt yourself. Was just disappointed by how much we paid and what we actually got. I have paid £650 for an all inclusive holiday before and felt it was way better value for money.
Fantastic hotel, have visited a few times now and can't recommend it enough ! Lovely looking hotel , excellent facilities and rooms , lovely pools and brilliant staff ! A special thank you to Mr Antonis on the beach and Mr Giannis in the restaurant for helping to make our stay so enjoyable !
