this hotel is one of the best, clean reliable service, top tier room and the food is good, the entertainment is handled by Max and Nate From Remarc and they are amazing at the animation for the hotel with activities and for the whole stay thank you very much guys you made our stay special and memorable, the girls and i will most definitely come back here next year

My wife and I (both mid 50's) booked to go here just a week before we flew. We did read some of the reviews before booking but when I read more after we had booked I was a bit nervous. Some of the reviews had said that you had to pay an extra 10 Euros a day to hire air condition, this was not true. When we got into our room it was on the wall with remote control on the table. I found out that it is free between 15th June until 15th September, so did not affect us. Also, one review said that the hotel was dated and needed modernising, this is also not true. It is a very nice, clean, modern looking hotel both inside and out. One point I feel I must point out is that the hotel is built over several layers and there are steps going from the reception to the restaurant, steps going up to the bar and steps going down to the toilets. The swimming pool does not have a walk-in end so you need to use the ladders to get out and we found them awkward because they are one run to short and you have to stretch your leg up to hoist yourself out. Do not book this hotel if you are not fully able bodied. The location of the hotel is not the best, there is nothing to do within a 20 minute walk in either direction. There are no bars or restaurants close by but Kos town is a 10 minute bus ride away. The food in the restaurant was very good and they had different themed food each night. There is always an excellent variety of fresh food three times a day, and both my wife and I ate well every day. We are not fussy eaters but I did think to myself that at times there was not a lot of choice if you were a fussy eater or a child. Our room was on the third floor, it was a very clean modern room with a double and a single bed in there. I must admit I found the bed quite hard and it hurt my back. There was a fridge in there and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The swimming pool is very nice, not too big but plenty of space for all. The children's pool is right next to the adults one. We would usually be at the pool side by about 8:30 and there was always sunbeds available even if you came down later. One thing that did annoy me was the fact that there are too many palm trees around the sunbeds and would put you in the shade for an hour or two twice a day making sunbathing a bit difficult. The pool side bar had a good variety of drinks, plenty of choice of cocktails all made generously with local alcohol. I personally enjoyed the local beer. There is not a great deal of entertainment here, the two guys do their best but there is not much variety. Also I think teenagers or young children would be bored especially in the evenings. The beach is a ten minute walk from the hotel but you will need deck shoes as the shingle is quiet sharp and hard. While we were there it was windy most days at the beach which was not pleasant. Please do not read this review and think its negative, its not. We had the kind of holiday that we love, eating, drinking, sunbathing and just relaxing. If thats what you like also then have a great time here!
