The beautiful hotel is situated 250 m from the beach and 2 km from Kos town. The hotel is small and cosy with a very friendly atmosphere. The hotel has 30 lovely and comfortable rooms. It is the perfect place to spend some time with friends. It is aimed at all types of people seeking relaxing holidays in a friendly and clean environment,with a budget holiday. The hotel offers basic accommodation facilities with spacious and cosy rooms. The hotel offers to its guests to use of a bar, TV room and safety deposit boxes. All rooms are bright and clean.The guests of the hotel may take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool. It is the best place to relax on a reasonable price.

Review of Iris Hotel for a Weeks Stay
I came to this hotel with me and my friend. The Hotel itself is clean, however, when booking the twin room, it was falsely advertised and did not look anything like our room did on the picture. The tiles in the room where all chipped and they felt like they where going to fly off, the shower didn’t work and neither did the cold tap in the sink so we had to go down to reception to get that fixed. We didn’t have clean towels or bed sheets for 2 days and the room was only cleaned once or twice at a push and me and my friend stayed here for a week. The beds felt like sleeping on concrete and the staff where nice to us up until the last day , to us they seemed quiet rude to me and my friend and holiday friends we met on the way. They seem to pick and choose who they want to be “friendly” to. The Location of the Hotel is perfect , 20 minute walk into the town and a 5 minute drive in a taxi, bus stop is a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel . I did enjoy my holiday at Iris but certain things were not advertised properly and I recommended anyone wanting to come here to go somewhere else. Also, it said on the website aircon was included in the booking, it wasn’t . If we wanted aircon in our room, we would have to pay €10 a night . So €70 in total for everynight. One of the bar staff said this woman stole from the bar when she never did, just very rude and arrogant behaviour . Atmosphere is relaxing and nice.

No water, had to pay for aircon, not wet floor sign outside and my gf cracked her head open on the wet marble stairs

It was in ideal location and not far from the beach. The hotel itself was OK but there was some faults with the room there was some broken stuff like the shower head rest on the tap and the taps needs replacing so does the fridge it gets hot at the top and plug sockets definitely need replacing, the WiFi wasn't that great. The shower was odd the is a square basin and if you leave the shower on the bracket it won't go in the basin so you basically have to hold it
Its okay for me as I wasn't really in it much its a 3 star hotel
I did enjoy the breakfast there
The pool is very deep the small kids pool is shut off it gets to about 12 feet deep so be careful if you have small children
The staff was very friendly and its a family run business. There is a pool bar and good seating area
Rooms gets cleaned everyday
It was good value for money and I would go back again

Great hotel
IRIS HOTEL
Me and my partner booked through tui and paid a little extra for the upgraded room ( highly recommend), the staff were great and the pool is well kept - the atmosphere of the place is amazing very friendly place - we went to Greek night that they host and also quiz night ( would also recommend) the location is a little out of the way but there is bikes next door to rent or e scooters across the street the shop is also one of the cheapest in the whole of Kos I’d say and that is also across the road.

Make sure you book a superior room
We arrived here August 16th and the room was shocking. Upon entering it was dirty and dated. When we looked further, there were blood stains on the bedding and screws on the floor presenting a health hazard. We went down to reception and asked for a different room/ upgrade and were told there was nothing. Therefore, we left the hotel the next morning and did not return due to Tui not helping us reach an alternative or sorting out the issue.
As for the pool we did not use it but it looked fine.
We had breakfast but there was not a lot left as we arrived down at 9:40am.
The staff were friendly but were not able to sort a solution for us.
The location is good, near the beach and supermarkets.
