Smy Kos Beach and Splash

Location was slightly isolated but wirhin walking distance of main bus stop around 10mins rooms a bit on the tired side but but kept immaculate by the cleaners food was OK plenty of salads and choice of other hot food a bit repetitive at pool snack bar The people who really stood out and set a great standard where ILIAS as nothing was a problem for him and the lift to and from the room in the buggy was always a pleasure with him Also SALVAVA and MIRELA who work the bar where outstanding always polite and so professional it made the holiday and the 3 of them would be the reason we would go back

The Hotel was very clean and tidy inside and out. The reception staff were very helpful. The bungalow we stayed in was very nice with a large comfortable bed and a large bathroom with shower. A small patio outside with two chairs and a table. Nice area of the complex. The room was cleaned each day & towels changed when needed. The two pools were great in size, the main pool was very deep, not suitable for children who can't swim adequately unless supervised by an adult. There is a shallow children's pool. A lifeguard was thereall day. One big fault with the main pool is the lack of a handrail to assist you to get up and down the large steps of the pool, more so for the not so agile guests. Also the first step into the pool is quite slippery as there is no rubber attached like the other steps. Both outside pool bars were adequate and the staff were friendly, especially in the main pool bar. We didn't spend much time in the pool by the beach as the music played constantly all day and whilst we liked the songs played it was too loud for us. As for the beach it is quite small & the sea is very choppy so we didn't get to enjoy this aspect of the hotels private beach. We never had a problem with getting a sunbed by the main pool, some of which are very saggy and uncomfortable and definitely need replacing.
The restaurant was light and airy and well staffed, The food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner was varied with hot meats cooked each evening. We enjoyed each meal and tried all different foods on offer. The salad bar was delicious plenty to choose from. Food was standard warm as were the plates. The usual daytime entertainment of water polo, aqua aerobics & darts etc.
The evening entertainment was okay, the girls put a lot of effort into rehearsals for the themed evening shows but it was repetitive dancing with only the songs sung changing each night, good costumes for each themed night. The Greek night show was good. The evening bar staff were nice and friendly. The all inclusive bar ends at 11pm but you can purchase drinks till 12am and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay and met some very nice people. It's a very friendly environment. There's not much to do outside the complex. One bar which serves great burgers and a Greek restaurant which serves nice Gyros and souvlaki. There's a bus which goes to Kos at the top of the main road. Reception have timetable.

Everything was perfect. We had a lovely time and we will be back next year. We want to thank Regina and Ilias for being helpful and kind.
