What has happened to our favourite hotel! We stayed here some years ago and could not fault it. Last week however we returned and sadly its gone down hill. The stunning beach was a mess, towels not there the bar a mess, the hotel itself is about to be over shadowed by a huge family hotel which is in construction so be aware some rooms are facing a building site which is in action. I wish they had advised us of this before we spent 1000s coming. We also came for the sunset Yoga, which now they dont do any more, the food was great as was breakfast but in general the service was much less slick, Achilles was great but reception not very helpful and I think they seem to have given up a bit. Also…. The same exact playlist in the bar 2 years on shows they need to maybe refresh….
What a luxury retreat !! From the start you can definitely feel the attentiveness of the staff , the luxury vibes that the whole property exudes . The rooms are spacious with all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel . Breakfast was out of this world ,plenty of options both for vegetarian and vegans !! Thank you ❤️
We recently spent a week at OKU Kos and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we've had.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but never over the top. The whole hotel has a beautiful, laid-back luxury vibe, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into keeping everything looking immaculate.
We stayed in a suite with a private pool, which was definitely worth it. The room was spacious, stylish and really comfortable, especially the bed! Housekeeping was excellent throughout the week.
The main pool area was one of our favourite spots. It flows into the bar and restaurant, and the sunset views each evening were incredible. Even though the hotel was busy, it never felt crowded, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. They're honestly some of the comfiest sunbeds we've ever used!
The food was another highlight. Breakfast had a great choice of fresh, high-quality options, and both lunch and dinner were consistently delicious and beautifully presented.
The beach was lovely too, clean, peaceful and just as relaxing as the pool. The beach loungers were just as comfortable, making it easy to spend the whole day there. We barely left the resort, but Kos Town is only a short drive away if you fancy exploring, and there are e-bikes available to hire too.
Overall, OKU Kos exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a stylish adults-only hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, amazing food and fantastic service, I couldn't recommend it more. We'd definitely go back.
Thank you Eva and OKU team at Kos!
We came here last year and loved it so much we had to come back. We stayed in a junior suite with a shared pool which was beautiful. There is nothing too much trouble in OKU and it’s genuinely the most calm and peaceful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It’s like you’re stepping into a different atmosphere and they’re working behind the scenes. Our bed was turned down every evening which was a nice touch. We will continue to visit this hotel in Kos and try our best to visit OKUs around the world. One thing to raise is that someone had charged drinks to our room so it’s worth checking your bill, but this was no fault of the hotel just someone trying their luck I imagine. Thank you again OKU for one of the best holidays we’ve had.
Pro:
Con:
Mosquitos ate us alive and completely ruined our vacation. We talked to staff who told us this is just nature due to nearby wetlands.
Untrained Staff - young kids who don’t understand service and how to solve things when things go wrong. They often blame you.
We would never return due to mosquitoes. The other side of Kos is much more beautiful and with a lot less mosquitoes
