Spent a fab week here, could of done with a few more days! gardens and grounds immaculate, our room was lovely, plenty of food and drink choices, staff very happy and friendly, regular bus to take you into Kos at a reasonable cost. Or reception will order you a taxi. Beach just across the road. Highly recommend for a chill type holiday.
Firstly what an amazing place, food, staff and surroundings. The variety of food available is amazing and they really do cater for everyone. The staff never stop and are always on hand to help, and the views are breathtaking! A special mention to Mihalista who works on the quiet pool bar, what an amazing woman who works so hard and always has a smile on her face. She really did make out stay that little bit more special. I would 100% recommend Akti coast club to anyone who wants a great family holiday, Marvin and the animation team will have you up and about engaging in fun activities throughout the day! Keep up the good work all.....
We booked this hotel through Jet2, expecting the four-star family resort it was advertised as. Unfortunately, our experience fell well below those expectations.
On arrival, our room was not acceptably clean and needed a deep clean. Housekeeping equipment and linen were also left in the corridor outside our room throughout our 10-night stay.
Our biggest concern was our daughter’s milk allergy. We contacted the hotel before travelling and were assured that the allergy would be properly managed, including completing a food intolerance form and being guided through suitable food options by a chef or manager. This simply didn’t happen. Despite the hotel knowing about her allergy, we were left to work out suitable food ourselves, with very limited options and no dairy-free ice cream or lollies included.
There were also safety concerns in the children’s play area, including an extremely unstable bench and uneven ground. Our daughter subsequently tripped and hit her head. The benches were eventually removed after we raised the issue.
The food was another major disappointment. It was repetitive, often greasy and excessively salty, with popular dishes regularly running out and long queues at breakfast and the pizza station. During a 10-night all-inclusive holiday, we ended up eating out four times at our own expense because of the quality and choice.
The hotel did have some positives. The animation team were fantastic and worked incredibly hard with the children, and we appreciated that some issues were eventually addressed when raised.
Overall, however, the combination of cleanliness, allergy management, food quality and safety concerns significantly affected our holiday. We booked a four-star family resort through Jet2 and unfortunately it did not meet the standard we expected.
We wouldn’t return or recommend it to families looking for a four-star all-inclusive experience.
Emily was lovely, perfect amount of ‘therapy’ and relaxation x
Peaceful location, spa is amazing and the staff at the hotel are so lovely. Facilities are clean and there’s so much to do whether you’re here as a family or a couple
