Lango Design Hotel and Spa

From the moment we arrived at Lango Design Hotel & Spa, the service stood out as exceptional. Every member of the team — from reception to housekeeping to the breakfast staff — was consistently warm, professional and genuinely committed to making our stay effortless.

Dora and Dimitris at reception were particularly impressive. They handled every request with efficiency and kindness, ensuring that everything we needed was taken care of. They even arranged a late checkout for us at a very small charge, which made our departure day far more relaxed.

At breakfast and during our leisurely poolside lunches, Alvin and Yannis looked after us brilliantly. Their attention to detail, friendly manner and willingness to go above and beyond made each meal a pleasure. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and their service added a real sense of ease to our stay.

Housekeeping also deserves special recognition. Rica took exceptional care of our room throughout our stay — from thoughtful turndown service to fresh towels and extra water delivered without us ever having to ask. Her attention to detail and consistency made the room feel welcoming every time we returned.

A further highlight was Alexandra, the food and beverage manager. She organised complimentary champagne served perfectly chilled on the terrace overlooking the pool — a lovely touch that made the experience feel even more special. Most importantly, her evening restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Every place she suggested was exactly what we were looking for, and each meal was genuinely excellent.

The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm, refined and beautifully maintained. Rooms are stylish and comfortable, the pool area is immaculate, and the overall environment feels luxurious without ever being pretentious. The combination of thoughtful service, elegant surroundings and consistently high standards made this stay memorable.

Overall, Lango Design Hotel & Spa delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff deserve real credit for creating such a welcoming, polished environment. I would not hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful holiday here for our honeymoon, hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. We had a superior room with private pool and it was lovely! Can’t think of anything to fault this hotel!

We walked or scootered into Kos town each evening for dinner (about a 30 minute walk or 15 minute scooter). Once you step out the hotel and walk down the road towards the main town, there are a lot of abandoned buildings and the area itself seems to have pockets that are run down, but I think this is common with Greece. We still managed to find lots of nice restaurants to eat each evening.

My wife and I spent five wonderful days at the Lango Design Hotel & Spa at the end of May to celebrate her 60th birthday, her early retirement, and our upcoming silver wedding anniversary. The hotel turned out to be an excellent choice.

Our Superior Room with Private Pool was spacious, stylish, and exactly as described. The private pool was a real highlight, and we enjoyed many peaceful moments there. The birthday dinner was fantastic—great food, a lovely atmosphere, and the surprise cake they prepared for my wife was a thoughtful touch. In fact, the food in the restaurant was consistently excellent throughout our stay, with a good variety and high quality every time.

What stood out most, though, was the service. Every member of the team, from the reception to the cleaning staff, was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special mention goes to Zinet Volaka, who handled our pre-arrival emails with such warmth and efficiency that we felt welcome before we even arrived.

The terrace with sea view was the perfect spot for an evening drink. The cocktails were unique and well-made, and the view made every sip even better. The hotel’s private beach was also a great place to relax, with comfortable loungers and easy access to the sea.

All in all, Lango Design Hotel & Spa offered us a comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable stay. It’s a place where the little details are done right, and where you can truly unwind. We’d happily return.
