Lango Design Hotel and Spa

This is a lovely adult only hotel which we love. Breakfast in the morning is help yourself & its the best breakfast we have had abroad in a long time, good selection of food on offer. We never eat there for dinner ( go outside hotel turn right resturants 15 min walk away). We had lunch 1 time of Greek Focaccia was very nice indeed. There is a bus stop outside the hotel into kos cost 2 euros each, one way. We ordered a taxi the night before for a 8.30am pick up to goto ferry port, but once in reception to ask if on way was told it might not turn up evan though we booked it, as was told they prefer to do airport runs, so lucky for us the bus turned up, so dont rely on taxis to Kos. Though if need a taxi home from Kos we found plenty. The room was lovely and clean and you have a pillow menu. The only thing for me was the pool bloody freezing lol to get in but ok once in. Would def go bk very relaxing stay. Oh dear prices 7 euros for small beer. Down rd 5 euros for a large beer

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The welcome we received by the reception staff was excellent they really went out their way to make our time at the hotel special. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee selection was brilliant, this is important to us as we like our coffee. The staff at breakfast and around the pool were really attentive. The room was spacious and very clean.

My husband and I are currently staying at the superb Lango Design Hotel & Spa. We booked a Deluxe Suite with Sharing Pool through Jet2Holidays. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Konstantinos who immediately took care of our luggage. Our check in was also most welcoming and efficient. Maria took our details and led us to the lounge area. We were offered some local sweets, followed by a glass of home made Cranberry Juice and a savoury snack. All quite delicious and most welcome! While we sat, we were mesmerised by the spectacular view of this part of Lambi Beach and the rolling waves of the aquamarine Aegean, with Bodrum in the far distance. It is a sight to behold! After a short while, Ismini gave us an orientation of the hotel before escorting us to our suite. On entering our suite, we found a welcoming card and some culinary treats, which we enjoyed and are most grateful for. Thank you.

Lango Design Hotel & Spa is contemporary in style and is beautifully maintained throughout. The exterior blends in seamlessly and suits the landscape so well. Colours and shades of both the exterior and interior aspects, including the furniture and soft furnishings are light and tonal. Although, our gorgeous suite has a sharing pool, the setting around the main pool - framed with palm trees and distant mountains - gives the area a luxurious, intimate resort-like feel.

Breakfast is served in the Koan Cuisine, which is adjacent to the main pool. There are tables and chairs positioned inside the restaurant and outside by the pool. Choosing where to sit is dependant upon personal preferences. The breakfast is well presented with a wide variety of choices. I am particularly fond of their delicious authentic local honey, paired with Greek yoghurt, nuts and seeds. As we are only on day three of our stay here, we have yet to make a dinner reservation. However, the lunch we had yesterday was exceptional in presentation and taste. Incidentally, for the second consecutive year running, Lango Design Hotel & Spa was awarded a MICHELIN Key. Special mention goes to Alvi who is most polite, friendly and helpful. He is part of the team during breakfast, but specifically responds to all our dietary requests and assistance around the pool. Thank you.

Each member of the team, across all sectors - housekeeping, reception, restaurant are not only professional in their approach, but are genuinely warm and friendly and want to go that extra mile. Special mention also goes to Dimitris and Dora. They are both very happy to answer any questions and to make recommendations about local areas to visit. We have not yet met our housekeeper, however, she/he so far, has kept all areas of our suite and pool immaculately clean and tidy. Thank you.

Kos Town is an approximate 30 minutes walk away. The team on reception can arrange to hire bicycles, cars and electric scooters etc. The town is lively and vibrant. We particularly like the old part. There are plenty of very good restaurants to choose from.

Finally, being guests at the Lango Design Hotel & Spa, with its exquisite architectural style, luxurious and tonal interiors, spectacular location along with the dedicated staff who are highly trained to give the very best in hospitality has very much exceeded our expectations. Although Jet2Holidays lists this hotel as "Luxury" - which obviously it is of course, in our opinion it should be elevated to be part of their "Indulgent Escape" packages.
