Absolutely first class. Great food and I think I lost count of the pools. Housekeeping second to none. Highly recommend.
As a family, we visited the Blue Lagoon resort in Kos just prior to the pandemic in 2019 and absolutely loved it. Subsequently we have visited the other complex on Kos as well as the location in Halkadiki, we absolutely love this hotel group.
This year we decided to return to the Blue Lagoon Resort in Kos and were not disappointed, it has not changed one bit.
The resort is huge offering a number of excellent pools, activities, a Water Park and numerous restaurants/snack options/bars. The snack bar at the Water Park is Brilliant. There was no real struggle to access a sun-bed and all areas were supported by lifeguard services. It is impressive how well they keep the garden areas.
The room itself was clean, with decent air-con. The rooms were cleaned daily by excellent cleaners. Across the resort the staff within the restaurants, bars etc mainly travelled from the Philippines and they were incredible. The team were always happy to talk as well as support the needs of the guests.
The animation team were excellent, lots of wonderful daytime activities as well as superb evening shows, the Decades show as a favourite of mine! The singer from Italy was class. The Belly Dancing show was also a hit with many. The animation team were superb with the kids. The arcade onsite was also a nice activity before the Bingo/main show.
The big screen for the World Cup games was an excellent idea. It was just a shame England did not beat Argentina.
Despite being located in the satellite area, the golf buggy service was incredibly simple to use and with very short waits.
The A La Carte restaurants were excellent, we visited the Italian & The Chinese, both were great. The quality of the food was excellent. The main buffet restaurant was the Pool Bar Mesogios and that did not require booking. The food was great, we preferred the Nisos which unlike 2019, now requires booking, but it has great availability.
The hotel resort complex is located a mile away from Kos Town and we visited on foot, without any issues.
We will return and I can fully recommend.
The only all inclusive hotel I’ve been to where you have to pay so much. The food was really disappointing here. Twice I cut into chicken during our stay to find it raw. There appears to be lots of different eating options, but even in high season most weren’t open everyday. Our favourite was the Greek restaurant, even though it was buffet it was much calmer atmosphere. The hotel is huge, however we always got 4 sunbeds together by the main pool. We put our towels out about 9am. You can also always find a table for meals. The restaurant / bar / cleaning staff all work so hard, All can speak some English. However we found the reception staff quite unhelpful & staff who I assumed were management from their clothing would only say hello if you said it to them first. The beach was really disappointing. We never sat on the beds at the beach as apparently there’s a charge for this. If you want to go into kos town i recommend the bus. It stops right outside the hotel & the timetable is in reception. Don’t scan the taxi service qr code this service charges approx 4 times the correct rate. We found the entertainment quite boring. The girls are all either very good dancers or singers. But they take themselves too seriously. I’d much rather a show was funny than watch a ballerina. The entertainment was always finished by 10:30pm which I think is very early. Even at the piano bar it finishes by this time. We had two rooms, despite requesting being close to eachother we were in separate blocks approx 5 mins walk apart, this isn’t ideal for parents of two teenagers. There is no enough storage in the bedrooms. However the balcony is huge, but needs a clothes hanging to dry swimwear. Overall I’d say this is a 3 star hotel with the potential to be 5 star with some investment.
best hotel ever we will come back for suite, thanks for Christian and Mario from animation team, they arę the best
Smażony hotel all was very good and special thanks to Mario and Christian ego help us everytime and they was there for us
