We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. Our room was clean every day when we got to the room. The food was pretty nice and specialy the icecream. The entertainment team, Nil and Dana, made us laugh with their jokes and their good vibes. Our favorite activities were karaoke, where we had a really great time and water polo. Therefore, we will recommend it to friends with children since the activities were enjoyed by people of all ages. The unlimited free drinks, and the good food in all the restaurants, made it a really comfortable place to go. We made a good decision going to this hotel with its beautiful views, and we will surely return to enjoy it again in a few years!
A friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in to the hotel and until we left. Our room was next to the main pool and had a beautiful view of the beach and sea with a private balcony that had 2 loungers, a table and chairs and a hot tub. Perfect for watching the sunset and sitting out during the day. The hot tub and room were cleaned every day with fresh towels and a bottle of water left each day. The all inclusive meals were varied and they had different themed evenings for meals. The waiting staff were always quick to ask for your choice of drinks and empty plates were always taken from your table. Plenty of activities at the hotel from volleyball to aqua aerobics and we tried sunset yoga on the beach which was fantastic. The 2 organisers of the activities are always friendly and happy to help and have incredible enthusiasm to make each activity fun and memorable. There are plenty of trips to sightsee around Kos but we took the local bus from the hotel to Kos town nearby for €4 per person each way and then you can either look around the town and get taken back to the hotel at set times when the bus collects you from Dolphin Square or take another bus to Paradise Beach for €5.50 per person each way. It’s around 40 mins and they drop you off right at the beach with buses every hour. We missed the arranged bus to Paradise Beach which is why we did our own trip and it was very easy. Just make sure you leave the hotel around 8am to get a good place at Paradise Beach as it can be busy. Back at the hotel we also booked a massage at the Salt & Soul which is a new addition to the complex. The massage building is pretty much on the beach and has 2 tables so my wife and I both booked a full back massage. The sisters who own the Salt & Soul were great, very friendly and for us the massage was perfect, enough to releases those knots of tension and then gentle enough to be incredibly relaxing. Although you had calming music there was the actual sound of the waves too. I’d recommend visiting them on your trip. We did it early on and it set the tone for the hotel - which was to relax and enjoy the scenery and amenities. There are also different themed nights by the main pool, from Karaoke to quiz nights and a great evening of traditional Greek dance and music. Overall a great and relaxing experience and I’d recommend it for others who wish to do the same.on the last day the manager spoke to us and asked how we were doing (which I thought was great and a welcoming personal tough). We learned it’s a family business that has been going for 35 years which has seen the hotel grow in size during that time.
This was our 2nd visit to the hotel nothing much has changed since our last review , great place , rooms always cleaned well , food could be improved but the cost of holiday was a bargain really We hired a quad bike ( highly recommend service car moto kos ) as the hotel is not really in walking distance to anywhere.
Went to all the usual spots Zia, Kardamina , paradise beach, and a new place Lofaki bar restraunt which we think has better views than Zia and food /service a lot better too We also went on the 3 island tour on the Malena 3 would highly recommend this book in advance to get decent seats The main staff who really stood out to us was at the bar sea restraunt guy who always welcomes you with smile a really friendly too he doesn’t serve but makes sure alm the food is out and cleaned up Overall a really nice relaxing holiday
Great hotel, one of the best we have stayed at. All of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, we did not find anyone to be rude at all. The hotel is directly on the stone beach with a restaurant at the side where you can watch the sunset, very beautiful. The entertainment was great and varied, plenty to do throughout the day. The hotel has 4 pools to match your vibe and atmosphere. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was very nice, great selection and they also have themed nights which are also great. The bar also has a great selection of drinks and cocktails which were fun to work through! The only minor downside for us is that there isn’t anything around the hotel i.e amenities but the hotel has a shuttle for €4 per person each way into Kos town. We had a great time at this hotel and would definitely return soon, it has good value for money.
Aeolos Beach Hotel, Lambi, Kos (advertised as a 4 star luxury hotel ) Sunday 28th June 2026 to Sunday 5th July Party of 6 ladies.
On arrival we were greeted by a very unwelcoming young man, who didn’t happen to mention that the air con in the hotel wasn’t working. It was very warm in reception. He was quite rude to us and other guests too . We then heard that he didn’t work there anymore. The rest of the staff were fantastic.
Our rooms were very modern, plenty of space and storage and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned every day.
Considering the modern rooms the air con controls were very outdated.
Not that it mattered because the whole hotel building and rooms had no air conditioning for 3 nights and 4 days. You can imagine how uncomfortable this was in 36 degs. We had no sleep for 3 nights , which was unbearable . The staff were very considerate and understanding, as they were working in it too, as well as dealing with some very tired and frustrated guests. They provided us with an electric fan and told us that someone was coming on a 14 hour trip from Athens to fix it. Thank goodness it was fixed on Wednesday afternoon.
There were 2 restaurants. One in the hotel and one on the beach. We had most of our meals at the beach. The setting was stunning and we watched the sunset every night. The staff in there were fantastic. They always kept us a table for 6 and even knew our drinks order. The restaurant in the hotel was good but even when the air con was fixed it was very warm in there. Food was good and plenty of choice, but I think it might of been repeated if staying for 2 weeks. Staff again were very pleasant and plates were always cleaned away promptly. There was also a grill bar that was open a few hours at the pool. This was mainly like a Greek street food. It was good too.
The drinks in the hotel and hotel bar wern’t great . The beer was good, but the spirits and soft drinks didn’t really taste of anything. The tonic water at the pool was fine, but at the hotel bar it came out of a bottle rather than a pump and it was undrinkable. I was surprised that they didn’t have prossecco or rose wine. They had red and white. The free bottle we got in our rooms was actually rose.
Pool areas. We used the main pool, where the bar, snack bar and entertainment was on hand. The first 5 days we had to be up really early to get a sunbed. By 7.15am they were all gone. Luckily, a couple of our group are early risers. I don’t know if it depends what guests are in, but for our last 2 days there were a different set of guests and there were some beds still available at 8.30. It was a bit confusing as to what pool we could use. One was near the bungalows and usually very quiet and the premium bungalows had allocated loungers around their pool. We did ask but it was still unclear. Both had to use the bar and entertainment at the main pool. I think if a guest is paying for a premium bungalow they should have their own bar. But, this didn’t affect us anyway.
The entertainment staff Dana and Neil were very good. Aqua aerobics, yoga, games, water games every day. Always something to keep us entertained on a night too.
We used the hotel bus (4 euros each) to go into Kos town, which is worth a visit.
Overall we had a great holiday. It was just a shame that the air con was off for our first 4 days. We couldn’t really relax properly
