This family resort is very nicely situated in a walking distance of the beach and the marina. It is only a 10-15 minute-walk to the centre of Kos, although many restaurants can be found within short distance. The main touristic and historic sites, such as Askleipion, Casa Romana and the Ancient market, are within easy reach of the hotel, approximately 1.5 km away. This is the ideal place for families with children that wish to enjoy lively holidays under the sun. Peridis Family Resort has got 5 apartment buildings and a central entertainment area with bar/restaurant, playground, spa, sauna, gym, tennis, beach volley, mini golf ect. The area also have 2 swimming pools, 1 child pool and a jacuzzi. On the roof terrace in the entertainment area we offer a quiet space for adults only. This terrace also has a heated jacuzzi and you can order an outdoor massage(charged). Animation May-September. Free baby package with cot, high chair, changing mat, baby bath & trolley. Please make a note for this on the reservation.

Superb hotel
This hotel is superb and the staff work so hard to give you a great experience. The hotel is split so a short and I mean short walk to the poolside is required but this is seriously nothing at all. The poolside is lovely and a great place to unwind. Sunbeds are plenty with no sunbed wars taking place. My son used the gym most days and although this definitely could be better he managed. The outdoor pool table has seen better days but we still enjoyed playing poolside games of pool. We had an issue with our air con on arrival this was sorted within the hour of reporting. We booked the tennis court and this was €7 for one hour which isn’t too bad. Overall I’d definitely return to this hotel. KOS as a place in general if you’ve never been is magic. This was our first but definitely not last visit to this island.
Nice hotel within walking distance of Kos Town
We arrived at 2am after a flight delay and was greeted by friendly receptionist who advised our apartment was in a block across the road, as others have commented this isn't clearly signposted so look for a black gate if you are allocated here. We were in a 2 bed apartment in block 3 which had no lift but we didn't find the stairs to bothersome once cases were in the room. Air con and safety deposit box included but had to ask for safety deposit key the next day, the tourist tax is a little pricey but is clearly advertised if booking via Jet2 that this is an additional cost so we were expecting it. The apartment block was across a busy road so something to consider if with small children, we had teens so not an issue and at night you can't hear the noise once doors/shutters closed. The hotel itself is split across locations, with reception being in one place and the pool/restaurant in another, personally this doesn't bother me and was only a minute or two's walk each day. The two bedroom apartment was excellent, with a separate lounge and kitchen/diner with full size fridge freezer, bathroom with washing machine and huge wrap around balcony. Could not fault the apartment at all. The pool area was a little smaller than I expected but still had two large pools and a separate baby pool. We secured sunbeds every day with no bother, with most days sunbeds available well into mid-morning. However people were reserving sunbeds in there preferred spot and nothing was done about this, there was signage but means nothing if not policed. Sunbeds have QR code that you can order drinks/food to your lounger which was a really nice touch that we used frequently. We were self catering so didn't eat at breakfast but did have lunch on one occasion which was really nice and very reasonably priced. There are lots of small supermarkets within walking distance but the biggest is just past the pool area (turn left out of pool and at end of the road) with everything you could possibly need. Staff at the hotel are super friendly and make this hotel what it is, bar/waiting staff always happy to serve and will remember what your order is over the course of your stay making you feel very welcomed. Cleaning staff also amazing, cleaned daily and couldn't fault that. Location wise its roughly 15 minute walk into Kos Town but if you head to the sea there are lots of nice restaurants to eat at without going into town. You can eat practically on the seashore which was lovely. Be warned the paths in Kos are not great with trees growing in the middle of them, would think it would be difficult in places with a buggy or wheelchair user. Kos town itself has a nice atmosphere with plenty of bars and restaurants which we never had any difficult getting a table as a family of four. We walked to the beach on one occasion and it wasn't a particularly sandy beach so didn't end up going again but there was a nice beach bar that we ate at that again was reasonable and nice food. Overall we had an enjoyable holiday and the location within walking distance to Kos town was great, the hotel had everything we needed but do agree with others that not a 5 star. We wouldn't stay again but purely because we like to try different places each year, if you have booked I am sure you will have an enjoyable stay.
Friendly, clean in a quiet area
Good location from the old town and Kos centre. The closest beach was not great so we never went. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough. When we had an issue with our room we were moved straight away. It was extremely small for a family of 3. I had asked for glutenfree and dairy free options for breakfast and this was accomadated with no trouble. Our cleaner ws also very friendly and did a cracking job each day. The only downside was the size of the gym, you could only really fit one person at a time if using weights and the cardio equipment was very worn and old. Certainly not what you'd expect in a 4*. Otherwise a friendly atmosphere, quiet area, beautiful pool and activities for the kids everyday. I would put it at a 3* or 3* plus not 4*. Would stay again.
Very much family resort
If you are a mature couple with no children or grandchildren I suggest another choice. We are a 3 generation group and suited us for a week, despite disliking loud pool Europop! We moved from initial rooms in Reception block to newly renovated apartments across the road, really spacious, walk in shower, efficient AC but not the views of hills, some road noise but felt it was a better option. Pool areas ok but yes better sunbeds needed. Reception staff super helpful with rooms and medical query and arranged a GP to visit hotel. Worth emailing before arrival if you have any particular mobility queries. Very responsive. Clean, pool restaurant fine, A good mile walk into Kos Town. In a residential area but plenty of mini markets, coffee shops, playground etc

The staff in every area of this hotle are an absolute credit to this hotel
Just returned from a 10 day family holiday. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed I felt this wasn’t the 5 star reception area I was expecting, seemed very dated. Check in was quick, the chap on reception was very welcoming. We checked into our apartment located in the main block, again disappointed as the kitchen/bathroom was very dated. But all these disappointments vanished, every part of this hotel was immaculate, there’s so much attention to cleanliness. Massive thumbs up to the cleaning staff, they were all super friendly. Reception staff always greeted us with a smile and made sure they spoke to us, very rare to find friendly reception staff. Although we didn’t travel with any young children it wasn’t hard to notice how the life guard and the children’s entertainer interacted with the children, they were incredible and so enthusiastic. We ate regularly in the bar, these staff members were attentive and friendly an absolute credit to this hotel, the food was delicious, some of the best food we ate while on holiday. Massine bouns no fighting for a sun beds, and the adult on area is a nice touch We found the location no problem, took 15 mins to walk to the marina/restraunts/bars, after a a few drinks and a meal it was a good way of burning the extra calories. Just be careful as the paths are uneven, it’s not very well lit up either so we would walk on the road when safe to do so. We will definitely return the this hotel and I fully recommend staying here. We have major holiday blues and we’re missing the cats We fell in love with Kos and this hotel, we can’t wait to return next year.
