Ikos Aria

My only advice when considering this hotel is don’t…unless you want to ruin all other holidays forever!!! We were lucky enough to enjoy 10 days of pure bliss! From check in to check out, our experience was truly incredible. We travelled as a family of 6…my dad being 85, his partner, myself and husband and our 2 boys aged 14 and 10. We’ve been lucky enough to experience some wonderful holidays, but upon arrival at Ikos Aria we just knew we were about to top them all. What set it apart from other excellent hotels we’ve visited was the customer service…simply elite!! Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff was enthusiastic, energetic and professional to a standard we’ve never experienced before!! The rooms/food/facilities and cleanliness were outstanding. The location was breathtaking and we explored Kos island fully through the use of the car and trip to Kos town via the hotel. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed biking, kayaking, pedalos, the beautiful beach/pools and also the football/tennis/basketball and my husband and eldest took advantage of the guided running tours. We were lucky enough to be able to book on to the football escapes with Anton Ferdinand for our last 4 days. Whilst this was an amazing add on for our football crazy lads, in all honesty we had such an incredible time regardless, this was just a mega bonus!

We can’t thank all of the staff enough for a holiday to truly remember. We left feeling rested, recharged and grateful to have been guests at your exceptional hotel!! Unsure how we will top this one, the world’s a big place…but Ikos Aria you have our hearts!!

One thing we would also like to mention is the swim lesson at Wonderfin for our 4 year old: Our kid had a mermaid swimming lesson with Athina. It was such a fun experience. Athina was so nice, patient and our kid really enjoyed every minute in the water. Thank you, Athina, for this unforgettable experience! We would absolutely recommend it.

Me and my mum have just had the most amazing holiday at the Ikos Aria. The hotel itself is impeccably clean with simple but stylish decor. It is set right on the beach with gorgeous views of this island with a little cute church on it. The whole resort is surrounded with beautiful greenery and gardens with colourful flowers which creates a calming environment. The whole place in fact as soon as you walk in just makes you feel relaxed. Our room was a junior suite and was very spacious and again nicely decorated with all the amenities you could need. The spa was very relaxing and the treatments we had we really enjoyed. The gym was well equipped and the classes such as yoga and Pilates were very good. We even got to try out reformer Pilates which is something we have been wanting to try back home for a while and really enjoyed that. All the instructors were very nice and good at what they did but particularly Julia. She was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable about yoga and all the poses and how to adapt them for different levels. I really enjoyed going to her classes every day I was there and making a friendship with her. I did actually feel by the end of our stay that I had learnt lots and did feel bendier and less stiff. She really made our trip that extra bit special. Next the food was delicious in all the restaurants we went to. All the food is fresh and of good quality and cooked very nicely. We particularly liked the buffet as it worked well for me as a picky eater being able to pick and choose what I fancied. I want to thank and give a shout out to Demetrius. He was the restaurant manager and was the nicest most helpful and thoughtful man. Every night there were certain things I would request and he would always already be on it. He was just super and is a real asset to the hotel. And finally I just want to mention the staff. They are all incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly always asking you more personal questions to make you feel like they cared. They also started to remember us and our orders and just think and do everything you need before even having to ask them to. I want to particularly thank Claudiu (who was so attentive and helpful and kind waiting for us at the buffet), Aritos (for making my omelettes every morning and having a chat), Cipri (for serving us all day long at the pool), Vitek (for being kind and helpful at the buffet and Olga (for serving us drinks in the evenings - good luck with your degree!). They just all made us feel like royalty and I can’t thank them enough. We’ll definitely be back! Loved it ❤️
