I am writing this review sadly sat at the airport on our way home. My husband and I spent a week here celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel and service are top class, we have been to many all inclusive hotels however I would say this one is outstanding. We had a one bedroom, garden and sea view suite which was very spacious and had a lovely outside area for relaxing and sunbathing. The moment you arrive the staff go all out to make you feel welcome and deliver first class client service. Nothing is too much. It feels like all the staff genuinely want to make sure the guests have an amazing time. Having the ability to WhatsApp to order drinks to the room, book restaurants and experiences made it much easier and relaxed. If you enjoy fine dining and top end drinks this hotel doesn’t disappoint. We had no issue with getting booked at the à la carte restaurants for dinner and there are plenty of fabulous options for lunch too. Whilst the hotel was at full capacity there were always plenty of sunbeds free any time of the day at the pools and beach. This is a family hotel and as we do not have children we tend to go for adults only, however Ikos Aria has adults only areas on the beach, round the pool and also an adults only pool. They ensured families with young children were seated in one area of the restaurants and adults only another. This meant all could have a fantastic time. The evening entertainment was also just right, there was either a DJ or singers in the Lagoon bar, or a show on at the theatre. The best night was the white party on the beach. So if you are reading this review and thinking shall I book it? 100% there is no reason not to. Oh and one day electric car hire is included, plus a sunset boat trip and day trip to Kos Town. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Ikos Aria for making our trip a memorable one, can’t wait to return.
Excellent Hotel
An excellent resort for location, ambience, hospitality, rooms, pools, staff, all 6 restaurants . The service was of highest quality and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall a great stay. Will come back next year.

Out of this world
We stayed at Ikos Aria for a week in September and WOW — what an amazing experience! This was our first time staying at an Ikos resort after hearing so many recommendations, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
The restaurants are out of this world. Our favourite was Olivia. The atmosphere, food and service were all wonderful, with a special shout-out to Joanna, who was amazing. The mixed seafood and chicken paella was standout as was the steak. Fresco was great for lunch, the seafood pasta and pizzas are delicious. Ouzo was perfect for breakfast, and we also really enjoyed Anaya and Provence for dinner - but not a bad restaurant! The food throughout the resort is beautiful and incredibly high quality — it genuinely feels like eating at a top restaurant night after night.
There is plenty to do around the resort, although we were quite happy being lazy! We did the wine tasting and cocktail masterclass, where Jaques was fabulous and really made the hour fly by. The mojito was honestly the best I’ve ever had!
The Deluxe Bar and Lounge area, right by the adults-only pool, was another highlight. The service here really stood out. Zuzi was wonderful, making sure our favourite wine was chilled for us each day, and the lunch service to our sunbeds was beautifully presented.
The grounds are stunning and incredibly well kept, and the beach is beautiful with fantastic service too. I loved the sea as it was so shallow, and the sunbeds were well spaced out and really comfortable. They even clean your sunglasses for you on the beach — such a lovely little touch!
We also had a couples’ hot stone massage in the spa, which was perfect. It was expensive, but absolutely worth it — genuinely the best massage I’ve ever had. The spa itself is beautiful and, even without booking a treatment, guests can use the facilities for free at any time. The facilities are fantastic.
For couples, Ikos Aria really is perfect. They have clearly thought carefully about creating separation between adults and families while still catering brilliantly for both. As a couple looking for a romantic trip, we really appreciated this. The restaurants are arranged so adults can enjoy a quieter experience, there is an adults-only section of the beach, and the adults-only pool is tucked away in a quiet area.
The only slight frustration for us was the evening entertainment. Some of the performers were amazing, but unfortunately they were sometimes joined by screaming children, which did take away from the atmosphere a little. Sadly, that’s more down to the parents than the resort staff!
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Ikos Aria. The food, service, beautiful surroundings and attention to detail were exceptional. We left feeling completely relaxed and would love to return although will try another Ikos next year!

5-Star Stay
What a hidden gem of a resort! Having been lucky enough to stay at luxury resorts further afield, it was a welcome surprise to find somewhere comparatively closer to home that was just as spectacular!
The resort itself is amazing and the staff looked after us well from beginning to end. There is a good range of inclusive restaurants and both kids and public pools to enjoy through the day. The kids club was well equipped and allowed use of the outside facilities to kids under parental supervision. We were also able to hire bikes for our children for the duration of our stay which was a win!
At night, there was a good entertainment menu for all in the theatre and many outbreak areas to choose from for a drink and general socialising.
We have since tried another IKOS site but Aria is hands-down our favourite. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
