Our first visit to an IKOS Resort and will definitely be visiting again in the near future as everything from initial check in to check out is totally first class. What a great resort although it is very large and spread out the golf buggy service is impeccable, just request a buggy either via staff or room phone and a buggy always appears within 5 minutes regardless of time of day. This service is maintained right throughout the hotel by the accommodating staff, which is one of the superior elements of the holiday. The restaurants that we visited were all excellent although our favourites were Ouzo Greek and Anaya Asian and the Flavours Buffet restaurant although small was always a good fallback. We pre-booked 3 restaurants via the IKOS app and had no difficulty booking further restaurants on our arrival. By the way all wine from the extensive wine menu is served free unlike all other inclusive hotels I have visited, which is another big plus to IKOS. Adult pool is small but we always managed to get sunbeds and once again service food and drink was first class. We were a party of three but the room services for cups, glasses and general amenities were only for two which is a slight failure in the service supplied. So first morning called for 2 teas and 1 coffee from room service and arrived within 15 minutes. We continued to use this facility all week without any issues, although it would have been nice to have the availability of making our own if we had 3 cups. The beach sunbeds and service once again is top notch although the beach is not very sandy and you have to walk over stones when entering the sea. Overall our experience is rated as top notch and definitely one of the best all inclusive holidays we have experienced and we have been to many.
An amazing experience from start to finish. Thank you to all the amazing staff for such great attention to detail. Nothing was too much and the concierge service were amazing and so quick to help you with anything. First class food, amazingly clean and beautiful resort and first class service which is testament to the General Manager who took time out to contact me several times to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be returning.
Great food, pool, entertainment. Kids had a blast, and we loved it so much; we can't wait to go back. Lost my phone in the sea, but the staff helped me recover it. Great service.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We traveled as a group of 11 people, which is not always easy for a hotel to handle, but everything went flawlessly. The service was top-notch, and 100% of our requests were fulfilled with a smile. The food was delicious, and we were able to fully relax and recharge. A special shout-out to Thomas at the front desk for his incredible hospitality! We would love to come back.
We returned from a weeks stay at Ikos Aria after staying at both Ikos Oceania and Ikos Odisia previously. We loved our stay and were sad to leave, the food in all restaurants was superb and the grounds and beach are immaculately kept. It's a pleasure to walk around the resort. The service in all the restaurants and bars was brilliant and the staff couldn't do enough for our children.
If I hadn't previously stayed at the Oceania and Odisia I would have give it 5 stars. But we felt in comparison the service levels particularly around pools didn't quite live up to what we'd been used to at the others. We had forgotten drinks and service was slow. Sadly far too many staff standing around the bar on phones unfortunately which was a shame. Unless you caught their attention we didn't get service. It may sound petty, but for the price of stay and from what I'd experience at the other Ikos hotels it was a little disappointing. A number of the buggy driver seem glued to their phones whenever they got chance too, again sounds petty but it's the overall look it presents to guests about professionalism at a premium resort. Would be nice to see less phone use by the staff.
The evening bars are lovely and service is great. Frustratingly some families let children set up football games on the terrace bar which took over a large area. Ikos staff should really politely discourage this for the sake of the rest of the customers. Even with as a parent with 2 young children I was surprised to see it.
All the entertainment we saw was brilliant and as we visited during the world cup thought the way they handled watching the game was tastefully done. Didn't take over multiple bars, simply shown in one venue for those interested.
Deluxe at this hotel is a MUST. The gap between standard and deluxe at Aria is noticeably different. Much more so than at Oceania and Odisia. A standard stay is still brilliant but deluxe just seemed a step worth taking! Also the deluxe rooms are much more secluded and quite.
We took advantage of one of the meals out which was excellent and I'd highlight recommend. They provide bus transport to and from and make a nice evening out from the hotel. A nice touch.
Customer relations team were great, and made such a fuss of our girls. Unfortunately we had a couple of issues which needed the receptions staff to sort, some not all as friendly...
Overall an excellent stay and would certainly return. The vast majority of the staff and superb and always go the extra mile. Just sharpening back up in a few areas.
