Beautiful location and friendly staff, but service and communication fall short
Guest relations were pleasant to talk to and promised a great deal, but very little of what was agreed actually happened. We made several clear arrangements, and none of them were followed through. To their credit, we were offered free laundry service and complimentary room service as compensation, which we appreciated. Even so, the team still failed to deliver our son’s meals as agreed. That is deeply frustrating and left a stain on our holiday, because no amount of compensation makes up for a child developing a rash from food that was supposed to be adapted for him. Commitment on this topic seems to be missing entirely.
There are genuine positives. The location is beautiful and the views over the sea are stunning. The rooms are perfect and very well maintained. The main building feels dated, but that never really bothered us. The à la carte restaurants that require a reservation are excellent and were a highlight of the week. The main restaurant, however, lacks refinement in its food and is clearly understaffed.
In short: a wonderful location with lovely rooms, warm people and great à la carte dining, but the service organisation behind it does not deliver what it promises.

Perfect summer break
We stayed for a week at the Mitsis Summer Palace and loved the hotel, great staff and accommodation along with amazing views. The food across the restaurants was great and people could not go out of their way enough to help, big thanks to Spyros for helping us when we needed it.
