Atlantica Belvedere Resort

We’ve now been to Atlantica Belvedere three times, most recently in August, and we absolutely love it. We got back a few weeks ago after another fantastic holiday and can genuinely say we’ve never stayed at a better hotel.

The food is unbelievable. We went all inclusive and the buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing throughout the whole holiday. There’s a huge amount of variety and everything is always cooked to perfection. I’m a meat eater and thought the options were brilliant, while my fiancée is vegetarian and felt exactly the same – she had loads of choice at every meal. One of my favourite things is simply having a morning coffee and enjoying the buffet breakfast while looking out over the sea. The views are incredible and it’s such a relaxing way to start the day.

Having been three times now, we obviously knew what to expect, and one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back is the staff. They are genuinely incredible. Everyone seems to really care about providing brilliant service and making sure you’re having a great holiday. I honestly don’t think I’ve experienced customer service like it at another hotel.

A big shout-out to Panayotis on reception, who was brilliant. We always enjoyed stopping for a chat whenever we went past reception, and he constantly made sure we were happy and made us feel really welcome. But honestly, we’d name all the staff if we could! The restaurant team are fantastic – really attentive, friendly and professional, but also happy to have a laugh with you, which creates such a nice atmosphere. You never have to worry about your wine glass being empty for too long!

The hotel entertainment team this year were probably the best we’ve had on any of our three visits. I played beach volleyball pretty much every day, which was great fun, and also discovered the Finnish game Mölkky on the beach, which I really enjoyed. The entertainment guys were great fun and made the activities something I looked forward to each day.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The pool area is great with a good bar area, the beach is right there as another option, and the views across the sea are stunning. The rooms are brilliant, the cleaning staff are great and the facilities throughout the hotel are excellent.

We also treated ourselves to the spa this year and had a Cretan full-body massage and a facial. Both were amazing and we’d highly recommend them. A special mention to Yinnis and Artemis, who were fantastic.

We also went into Kos Town for a day for the first time this year and we visited Kardamena, which we’ve done on all three of our trips. Kardamena is a nice little town if you fancy going out for an evening, having a few drinks or, in my case, finding somewhere to watch the football! Buses run daily from the hotel.

All in all, another fantastic holiday at Atlantica Belvedere. After three visits, it says a lot that we still come away feeling so impressed by the place. The food, location, facilities and views are all amazing, but it’s the people who really make the hotel what it is.

We’d absolutely love to return for a fourth visit and couldn’t recommend Atlantica Belvedere highly enough.

Such a lovely experience at the Aegeo Spa. I had the most relaxing massage with Artemis on my first day at the hotel, and it was so good I booked another for the end of the week! The perfect way to start and finish the holiday. Artemis was wonderful and made the whole experience feel incredibly relaxing. Would definitely recommend!
