Our Ultra-All-Inclusive concept of food and drinks available 24 hours a day in one of our restaurants and bars, will remain the same. Any guest who prefers not to have daily room cleaning, must inform reception staff upon arrival. Activities requiring team sports such as football, basketball, water polo, etc. will be prohibited. All additional safety measures which will be introduced must be followed by both guests and employees.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Perfect massage from Susanne
Overall good stay, loved the food and bars was great. Activity team was good although what was disappointing was the bravo team as it makes it feel segregated within the hotel.
Initially had a great massage from Peter and even booked a second which was just as good my Susan.
Nice place, good food, and drinks, good massage. Susan from sweden was wery good. This is our second year at this place and we will get back next year as well.
The following is my opinion of the hotel and there is many that agree and disagree.... Good points.... Cleaners, maintenance and 2/8 bar staff are decent friendly people. The rest have absolutely no time for you at all, location and actual layout of the hotel is lovely, reception area is always clean and fresh and transport to and from places is very good, close to the beech( has room for one sunbed deep as its right on the water ) not a fault of the hotel though.
Bad points
To be fair there is a fair few I personally have gripes with.
that has pasta pasta or pasta (sorry a couple of pastry to choose) 4. Animation team stsrt at 1030, do not even come newr you to join in with darts, French boules the aqua gym then stops at 1230 till 4pm!!!! Again I've never encountered this before. 5. 20 quid deposit for a KETTLE, YEP A KETTLE, and you have nowt in your fridge either of coffee or tea. 6. Listen I could go on for a while. .......
All in all kos is beautiful but the experience in thsi hotel will put us off ever coming back unfortunatly.
I have just returned from a stay at this hotel with my husband and daughter (14) Here is my honest review of my stay. Hotel location - the hotel doesn’t have anything outside other than a beach and small supermarket. However, it is only 10 mins from the local town of Kardamena . The hotel runs a free shuttle bus to and from Kardamena throughout the day. It is also a short transfer from the airport. Hotel facilities-There are 3 pools (a lively pool where the animation team do activities, a quiet pool and a children’s pool) there are plenty of sun beds but some of them have seen better days and aren’t comfortable. There are large fixed parasols for shade but not enough for the amount of people at the pool so they tend to go very quickly. There is a bar by the pools and a snack bar that serves your usual snacks. The bonus for us being that they served Gyros. At each pool area there are toilets but there is only 1 male and one female toilet meaning that there are quite often queues to use them. For the size of the hotel, I thought there would be more. The entertainment is mainly done outside in an amphitheater area. There is plenty of seating for guests but they are not very comfortable. Rooms- our room was spacious, cleaned daily and did what we needed it to do. That said for a 5* hotel it was not 5* standard. There is an empty fridge with only 1 bottle of water that you are given on check in, there is no kettle/ tea and coffee making facilities (if you wanted a kettle you had to pay €20 deposit). Our shower was temperamental, alternating between freezing cold and roasting water, the cover for the shower trap wasn’t attached properly, there was rust on the sink tap, the bottom of the bathroom mirror was rusty and we had a toilet brush that was dirty. Definitely not 5* quality. Food-there is a good selection of food in the restaurant that was all delicious. We enjoyed all of our meals. Staff- The reception staff look like they can’t be bothered to help and are not helpful at all. I actually found them to be quite rude. I asked to borrow a pen and you would honestly have thought I’d asked to borrow a kidney ! I was reluctantly given said pen and was told I must bring it back. The restaurant staff are fabulous ! They are so friendly and attentive to the guests. Our cleaner was also lovely. She was always cheery, said good morning to everyone and made the effort to add in little touches such as putting our PJ’s on the pillow each day. The bar staff are a completely different kettle of fish ! Most of them are rude and abrupt. One guy was more interested in watching football on his phone than serving and another was rationing ice like his life depended upon it so good luck if you want more than 2 ice cubes in your drink. Entertainment- the animation team provides the majority of evening entertainment with a couple of outside entertainers a couple of nights. What we saw was good but it was quite “samey”. They also do activities during the day but don’t really go out of their way to involve the guests. They start at 10 then take a break from around 12.30 to 4pm which isn’t great. Aside from providing evening entertainment and doing the activities, they don’t interact with guests at all. In fact they will pass you in the hotel without as much as a hello. Overall, I enjoyed Kos itself but if I were to return I would stay elsewhere. I would say the hotel is more 3* than 5*
